Yes, you need a domiciliary account, but @freeman67 has a domiciliary account and he is still being faced with another hassle.

Then I tried to deposit the money only be told by the teller that the account I deposited the money to is a naira account..and the receipt printed for the deposit was showing a naira sign. It means that e.g my $1,000 becomes N1,000 which is not in any upto what is acceptable for the Eurobond fund. The teller refunded my Dollar and ask me to pay her Naira because they could not debit money from that account after crediting it.

I am still waiting for them to reply me on how to go about it.

Their customer service gave me an account no that I thought was a Dollar Account.

If you cannot do dollar transfer between two Nigerian banks how will United capital be able to send your interest to your bank account?

To do funding for dollar investment is as this difficult, that's strange.

I’m aware of FBN’s current 9.92% interest rate but the challenge is the entry fee $2500.

Union capital has a lower entry rate at $1000. I’ve shot them an email for the interest rate.

I don't know, but year till date return from FBN Asset Management Eurobond Fund gave a return of over 9%

You are always advice to do your due diligence in any investment venture. That is the best practice. However, note that different mutual funds have different form of risk. Not all mutual funds have guaranteed capital or interest, also there are different form of fund/asset management plans. In the case of the firm you mention they were not into mutual fund management. They managed clients stock portfolio with an agreed percentage and everything was centered on the NSE which has high risk involvement. So before you venture into any investment, check on the risk level involved. Again for your information your funds are with a particular MDB called a custodian bank where your money is insured. Apart from the regulator- SEC there a is trustee firm who monitors where your funds are invested. Notice your fund manager's account always have two account names together. One is the fund manager's while the other is the trustee's. Of course all investment has risk elements attached. Let's be well guided.

As at the time I tried it out in 2018, I was already used to seeing what happens in my investment account daily with SIAML so I thought it will be that smooth. My experience with VDF was however not so cool.

I subscribed to that VDF for about 9 months and throughout that 9 months I never had access to know even if my account was growing or not. All effort to get that was to no avail.

After trying and could not, I decided to terminate it. Then comes another wahala... I submitted my dorm account details as required and they started telling me sort code did this and that. I called GT connect and they gave me the details but they were still not satisfied.

Eventually, I had to go to my bank(GT) and was given that same sort code.they gave me on phone that they rejected. I came back with it before it was finally accepted. Then I kept disturbing them for about two weeks before it my money was finally released.

The money that later entered my account for $1,000 investment for that 9months was just $1. something.

Maybe things have changed now but my experience then was no palatable.

This is the definition of a bitter experience, Marketers are plenty on this thread, all of them saying my employer's product is the best.

All this fund managers, is there anything safeguarding investors money in their custody?so many fund managers have gone under in Nigeria and investors were unable to get a dime after their disappearance. To make matters worse some people invested their life savings in these fund managers. All of them will be claiming they are registered with Sec and the so called Sec won't be able to salvage the situation when any of these fund managers disappeared. I still remember the case of Aims Asset Managers, Mega Asset managers and several other funds managers that has disappeared. There is no record that investors were able to retrieve their investment till date and many investors are still licking their wounds till now.

We never agreed on 220k as payment for any job
Our agreement was to have this job done instalmentally and we started by erecting poles at 30k
