Apartment Complex in New York In an apartment complex in New York, there are 100 married couples. When one of the husbands cheats on his wife with one of the other wives, his wife has no idea. With the large amount of gossip in the complex, all of the other wives know he is cheating. If a wife finds out that her husband is cheating on her, she kills him the following morning. Someone anonymously sends an email to all of the wives in the building saying that at least 1 man is cheating on his wife in the building. How many husbands will be killed, and how long will it take? |
Christmas Mystery Inspector Varnike was on duty during the Christmas holidays. On the morning of December 25th, he went on a call. He rang the doorbell, and a minute later a sleepy apartment owner opened it. The inspector introduced himself and said, “I have to carefully inspect your apartment. Your neighbor says that yesterday, Christmas Eve, he came to your place for a party. And while he was singing songs along with your family next to your Christmas tree, shining with multicolored lights, you broke into his apartment and stole a number of valuable items.“ The owner replied, ”That’s not true! Our family celebrated Christmas Eve at our friends’ place. We went to them in the afternoon. I barely had time to decorate the Christmas tree before we left. We returned back home way past midnight and went to sleep right away. If you want, I can wake my wife and son up, and they’ll confirm all I’ve said.“ “There’s no need for that,” interrupted Inspector Varnike. ”It’s quite obvious to me that your neighbor is a liar.” How did Inspector Varnike manage to catch the neighbor in a lie so quickly?

On The River It was a hot summer day, but Inspector Varnike was on duty. The detective, along with his assistant, was chasing a criminal. Following in his footsteps, they found themselves on the shore of a small but very deep and rapid river. The inspector and his assistant saw swimmers, approached them, and asked, “We are looking for a guy your age. He must be somewhere nearby. Have you seen him?“ ”He ran past us a few minutes ago. He flung himself into the river right here. You can see him on the other side of the river! Hurry!“ The nice guy even offered to give Varnike his boat, but he refused. “Let them run away,” said the inspector. ”Now I want to get acquainted with you.” Why did the inspector decide to pay attention to the boys and not chase the fugitive on the other side?

Hot summer day It was a hot summer day, and a police detective decided to catch a little sun by the banks of a river. Suddenly, he heard a woman crying. “What’s happened?“ he asked the sobbing girl. ”Please calm down, and tell me everything one step at a time.“ “That’s easy for you to say,” said the girl between sobs. ”You can’t even imagine how dear that bracelet was to me. I come here every day. Today I took off my bracelet while sunbathing, placed it on top of my book, and accidentally fell asleep. I woke up, and my bracelet wasn’t there anymore.” The inspector fell into deep thought. There were no footsteps left by other people in the sand around where the girl had been sitting, apart from her own. There were no other people in the vicinity. It followed that only one of the regular visitors to the beach could have taken the bracelet. These people had now formed a thick wall all around the inspector. He looked at them, and within a moment understood who could have taken it.

EmperorHarry:I don't really think so..maybe such posts are not deemed front page worthy due to grammer or how they are constructed. Thanks anyway....I wish people will drop more opinions |
modelmike7:Thanks bro |
DISCLAIMER This write up is totally the opinion of the writer and what the writer feels. It is not in any way a paid advert or targeted at gaining favours.Feel freee to read and drop your comments.... Thanks Straight to the point....I have been on this forum since 2013 and so far I have learned a lot of things and still learning.I come across plenty comments partaining what makes front page on this forum which makes me wonder;are these people for real?comments like And this made front page Nairaland has gone to the dogs Please give us nairaland of 2009 or the old nairaland Nairaland is now boring..and many more I can't type Now let's anylise things our selves....I know everyone is entitled to his or her opinion but come to think of it,naira land forum just as the name implies, is a forum with different sections such as politics, entertainment, crime, romance and many others we all know. Its not a news website that's solely aimed at spreading news nor a blog with little or concentrated content. The world is changing so are the trends and happenings around us.If the owner of this forum and his appointed moderators should continue giving us the nairaland of 2009 according to some persons, will he still be able to drive traffic; which is essential to the existence of the forum. I know this is a faceless forum and the internet has made it easy for people to bash and insult one another but, let's strive to reduce the level of negative comments and criticism especially on the front page. Those moderators some persons claim are dogs are people's husbands, wives, relations etc...Now let's put ourselves in their shoes and imagine how it feels to be called dogs.. Again, this is someone's business (if not his livelihood) and some persons are criticizing it.I'm not saying criticism is bad,but only constructive criticism can bring about positive change.Criticizing and condemning this forum can be said to be the same as spoiling one's busness physically. Let's try to reduce the criticisms and if at all,let them be constructive enough so as to bring about positive change. Another thing to bear in mind is;if the owner of this forum ( Seun) feels his moderators are not doing their job well,he knows how best to deal with them.So let's try to refrain from bashing them.We know, not all posts and threads are front page worthy but any topic you see on front must have been screened by the moderator in charge and deemed front page worthy,so please let's stop telling them what to do. If seun were to have the same nairaland of 2009,the same people will complain of the forum being old fashoined and backward. If seun were to make us all moderator, believe me you,the front page will be nothing to write home about.Every member will feel his or her post is front page worthy. I know some persons will not read it to the end but for those that will read, feel free to drop your comments and the kind of post you will like to see on front page. Thanks Hate the message not the messenger |
So these ladies decided to dress as NUNS for their Halloween party and many online users are saying it's a wrong thing and disrespectful to Christianity
