Thank you so much

To clarify, for the diploma in agronomy program at the University of Saskatchewan, the IELTS is not a requirement for international applicants, including those from Nigeria. Instead, the university accepts the TOEFL iBT as an alternative language proficiency test.

Your brother can take the TOEFL iBT to fulfill the language proficiency requirement for his application. I would recommend him to review the specific requirements on the university's website and reach out to their admissions office for any further clarification.

I hope this clears things up for you. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask here! 😊

It will end in praise
MRtristan:
ALHAMDULLILAH!!! ALHAMDULLILAH!!! ALHAMDULLILAH!!! I got my PPR.

This journey definitely did not start today, it began way back in 2017 and I'm grateful it ended with a good note. As you can see from the image i attached below, it started way back in 2017, but i knew there was no way in hell i could raise the money for Canada at that time.

So I had to make up my mind and develop my tech skill for Two hard years while working at a very terrible company, mehn those were trying times. Just like they say "Tough times never last, but tough people do", God came through for me and I got a contract job with a foreign company and the pay was really good, so good I kinda forgot about my initial japa plans and as the Almighty would have it, My contract with the foreign company came to an end.

Sadness engulfed me but I had to pick myself up and started applying until I got a local company, but to be honest, after assessing my salary and our economy, I knew I had to go back to my original plan which was now possible thanks to my frugal lifestyle LOL, I didn't even own a car except for land properties sha.

But this my Application was filled with tension, I Mistakenly did not upload my Two passport photograph, Application for study permit made outside of Canada and Family Information, If not for my brother that was just assuring me that it will end in success LOL, I almost gave up and thought of cancelling my application, but at the end, it did end with success and also shout out to @bullstriker who also assured that it was not really a big deal. Big thanks to @zubizareta and others, without your guidances a lot of us would really be lost, may the Almighty bless you guys, Amin.

applied 27/09/2023
biometrics 17/10/2023
med request 23/10/2023
did med 31/10/2023
ppr & BVL 7/11/2023

Feel free to reach out to me for any inquiries, hopefully I can be of help.

Thank you so much,I contacted one immigration officer and he told me that the correction is going to be made in abuja.that I will have to pay extra charges for correction.you are very correct because the day that I went for mine at the same Osogbo center I was asked series of questions before I was captured.(DIY)
Maybe he wanted to used the opportunity to scam me.because I was very scared that day.he ask for #25000 and after I will have to pay another token to immigration account for correction.i even beg him to take #15000.please how through its?

It's my cousin own and her mother is worried about the mistake.
Thank you,may God bless you abundantly

Let me help you out Abit, I don't kwn the passport office you use , but normally before capturing, they will have to verify ur documents, like an interview, asking you some questions, verifying with ur original documents, in doing so, they can correct all errors in your application file.
Then after capturing, they will tell you to looking at the monitor screen in front of you, you will have to take your time to check word by word if your name spelling is correct and your date of birth is also correct before submitting it to their data base.
Don't worry, you still have opportunity to correct the errors you made during the application process, the only way to be botherd is after capturing you realise the error and it had already been submitted.
Just stay calm, they application slip is just a receipt is just like an acknowledgement slip for payment for capturing and that will not be use to Capture your data on their data base.
Hope this illustration helps.

Keep calm, your passport production is in process. Also note that the tracking thing usually does not work as perceived to be. Often times the NIS people don’t usually update their portals.

We used the new portal and did not have to send any email for reminders; the timeline just worked perfectly as we prayed that God should touch the heart of the persons handling it. We only sent webform about 2 weeks into the application adding: deed of assignment and my wife’s medical ( we omitted initially).

I think how and what you fill in the form matters, and also the how you write your SOP and letters. Everything just has to correlate (there are very important things that one should establish no matter your situation). You can use what you have truthfully, carefully and well orchestrated to obtain a favorable result.

Cheers!
The only solution to this is to ask for officer in charge of passport production PCO ,walk in and narrate your ordeal.even let him no that some people that you both capture together same day have collet their passport.within a week you will have your passport.that is what one of their officer told me.i am only waiting for my six week to elapse as she instructed.because I captured on 17th of november.i am talking about Osogbo center

[lquote author=Sikay19 post=119155313]
You did well by your narration. I captured on November 4, at the same Oshogbo centre. I am not ready to go there only to come back empty handed. That’s why i keep checking my portal every now and then. I always laugh at people who say there is nothing like fast track because they only talk within the level of their exposure. I know of someone who captured on October 4 who has collected her passport like six weeks later(She paid 54k though). I have her details with me so, I’m sure of what i am saying. If not for the financial implication I would have sponsored a social media campaign against them.
Just go there a day before your capture with your necessary documents like.birth cert,LG identification,NIN SLIP, payment receipt, appointment slip, your data page, and Guarantor form sign by commissioner of oath.all photo copy and original.they will open a file for you then next day you go for capturing.Note;if your file was not taking to capturing office on that day because you are DIY.Dont worry just go to the office where you summit. You file to and request for it.

Firstly you have to apply on-line.throug their official website site.passport.immigration.gov.ng.where you will make payment #26000 and book for appointment for capturing.that is all.for relief go to immigration office a day to you capturing to open a file.its very simple in OSOGBO.no wahala FOR DIY

You have to make payment first before proceeding to appointment booking.

Skywypdotcom:
Hi DIY guys and everyone else, which is the correct NIS website to apply for new passport or renewal online, please? I can see two now, one is tagged old site and the other is said to be new.

Also, whats the procedure now: I meant to say, after filling the forms and ending it, Is it a must to make payment online or can I just go ahead and book an appointment?

I just finished the application and didnt pay on the new site, and i tried to book an appointment and it is complaining wrong ref and app number. Why is this please for those DIY or do I need to make payment first before appointment can work?

Appreciate all your contributions.

Thank you on this vital information.mine is also next month in Osogbo too.

Sikay19:
In my case I went there like a week earlier to submit my documents but on the day of capturing, I notice that you can do that on your capturing day. Just make sure that your documents are intact to avoid disappointment. It's not necessary you submit the originals, the photocopies will do.

Lastly, no matter how early you get there some people will be there before you. I got there on 06:50am I was on number 121. I will be there again on November 3 because I have issue to resolve. Oshogbo is one of the commands suitable for DIY because they didnt prejudice me when i met with the officers. And I even used the moment to sensitize the people I met regards the amount I paid and how I did it on my own. They were surprised an wished they can get refund from their agents, lol. Information is life.

Please where did you get the guarantor form.urgent please.TEAM DIY

Jeremy123:

Let me explain again cos it seems I got only the rest

The LGA identification documents
I don't have the physical original one anymore. I only have it in cloud.
When I was uploading it around 2015, I forgot to remove the passport so that's why it's like that

Image below

If I print this the way it is online in coloured. Would it be accepted as lga identification. And also, the passport is not recent, the passport was 2015 and now its 2022
