sagitariusbaby: I'm disappointed that you believed in the credibility of that project to start with. Tinubu is a fraud and only used that road to siphon his own share of the national moi moi but also to settle his political associates. That road is meant for Lagos and maybe Ogun state alone. There is nothing like coastal highway coming to the Niger Delta anytime soon. Somebody used FG money to open up new Lagos state coastal real estate and people beleive its a road going to calabr 😅😅😅 |

Kelklein: The major factor that contributed to ease of this disparity is the ease in request for dollars for fuel importation.. before now, those guys put alot of pressure on the dollar.. though the pressure is still there but by only a few players in the industry.. Dangote still has to convert his Naira sales to Dollars.. but we no longer have a situation where every Tom Dick and Harry are looking for Dollars.
Tho Politicians esp state governors are still converting loots to Dollars on a monthly basis after FAAC sharing. All those illegal conversions are done at outrageous amount.. Fuel is still being imported , the Niara is still being defended, the Naira is still unstable? What's your point? |

The decision by Tinubu to float the naira was to allow it find it's true value, though it was tough on every Nigerian but now we can see the naira rebounding step by step. So please let's give it time. So tell us the true value of the Naira now ? |

Putting Yoruba politicians in power is the worst thing you can do as a nation, they lack empathy and are only interested in extorting the people, from Fashola to this man they have hiked electricity fees over 7 times without any single improvement in electricity supply or production, the claim there is a subsidy in power sector which non of them can explain ,who is subsidizing who , how are their cronies in the power sector able to buy many jets despite their claims they are not making money? |

Politics › Fuel Importers Kick As Dangote Lower Prices by SalamRushdie(op): 9:34am On Feb 27, 2025 |
Importers of petroleum products have lamented the repeated reduction of petrol prices by the Dangote Petroleum Refinery, The PUNCH reports.
Some of the importers said dealers might be compelled to sell below their cost prices as consumers would only buy from where petrol is cheaper.
On Wednesday, the Dangote refinery announced a reduction in the ex-depot (gantry) price of petrol by N65, from N890 to N825 per litre, effective from today, February 27. This is the second price reduction in the new year, and the third one in a space of two months.
Although the importation of the commodity has dropped, some dealers still import refined petroleum products. This was confirmed by the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority last week after it stated that about 50 per cent of domestic fuel supply comes from imports. https://punchng.com/importers-fret-as-dangote-lowers-petrol-price-again/

galserv: Do you know more than the CBN
The point is that the defence of the Naira is now SUSTAINABLE unlike before. And it is not responsible for the depletion of the reserves. CBN sells 25million dollars to BDCs weekly. In a month that is 100million dollars. That is not the cause of the reserve depletion!!! So my good friend please explain this ?

Salebo: What an IGNORAMUS!
What were you expecting after the total removal of SUBSIDY You are the low low IQ ignoramus and I will school you here . If it was done properly and not in bad faith the price of Petrol shouldn't be more than 350Naira no matter what , at the time Tinubu removed subsidy Buhari was paying about 160 Naira on a litre , when you remove that the price of Petro should have been 347 Naira but instead Tinubu increased it 588 Naira a litre making sure he put extra margin so a certain oil company can make a Killing In profit but that backfired as he didn't factor in the sudden inflation and devaluation that would follow such a steep hike in fuel prices and so with week he had to adjust to 900 Naira per litre again to accommodate devaluation he caused and then to 1050 Naira to accommodate further devaluation... The painful Part is that in all this time the govt was still paying subsidy to oct 2024 . I tell you most of you that support this govt either have chronic low IQ or are just plain wicked . A good govt should have waited for Dangote refinery to start before removing the 160 Naira subsidy but rather the govt was rushing to remove it to counter Dangote and give advantage to a certain oil company that has been importing oil from outside...The whole thing was fine in bad bad faith

Namaster: Trump sees himself as a PERPETUAL victim. He's DESECRATING the global identity of the US and remaking it in his own image—a VICTIM.
He thinks everybody is out to get him. Now he thinks EVERY country is out to get the USA.
He ALIENATES his allies and cozies up to dictators (Putin) and wannabe-dictators (Netanyahu).
He's on track to OBLITERATE the diplomatic powers of the US and the benefits that come with it.
He's pushing and pushing and leaders of other countries can only be pushed so much.
FOOLS call him the PeaceMaker. Meanwhile, EVERY action he takes edges the world closer to a MAJOR conflict.
The markers are ALL there but his fanatical supporters are too DUMB to see it.
1 TRILLION DOLLARS vanished from the US stock market.
The price of gold is soaring (it's the ultimate store of wealth in the event of war).
France is gearing up to provide Nuclear Shield to the whole of EU.
UK is on track to INCREASE their defense budget.
The incoming Prime Minister of Germany is advocating for the EU to RAMP UP the production of weapons.
Even Canada is MULLING the idea of joining the EU.
ALL because FOOLISH Americans would rather have a CONVICTED FELON who's a pedophile and a rapist in the White House than have a black woman in there.
Racists and fools INFLICTED their buffoonery on the rest of the world.
