A Saudi Arabian man has made his second attempt to making it into the Guinness Book of Records by trying to cover his whole body with 20,000 bees.

Zuhair Fatani, who is a bee-care specialist and has spent more than 30 years as a beekeeper, made his second attempt yesterday to out-bee the current record-holder Ruan Liangming, of China.

Liangming holds the record for maintaining the heaviest mantle of bees, which 'weighed a daunting 63.7kg (140 lb 6.95 oz), including a terrifying 60 queens,' according to Guinness World Records.

Mail Online reported that Fatani who tried to break the same record last year and failed, placed queen bees on to his face, encouraging up to 20,000 male bees to crawl over him. But during the actual attempt itself, one of the queens flew away, meaning a large number of the male bees refused to land on him.

The Super Eagles squad have commenced full training ahead of Saturday’s crucial 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying clash with Seychelles in Victoria.


The Nigerian kicked off on Tuesday evening and also continued on Wednesday to prepare themselves for the clash.


In camp are Henry Onyekuru, Kenneth Omeruo, Francis Uzoho, Semi Ajayi, Samuel Kalu, Wilfred Ndidi, Kelechi Iheanacho, Chidozie Awaziem, Kelechi Nwakali, Bryan Idowu, Simeon Nwankwo and Joel Obi.

Ahmed Musa, alongside Ogenyi Onazi, Odion Ighalo, Jamilu Collins, Oghenekaro Etebo and Leon Balogun are also in camp.


The Super Eagles who were defeated 2-0 at home to South Africa in June 2017, will be hoping to clinch their first three points when they face the Pirates on Saturday.

Brazilian football legend, Ronaldinho has urged Barcelona to retire the famous No 10 shirt once Lionel Messi retires.

Messi took the No 10 shirt when Ronaldinho who also made a mark and won several trophies at the Club before leaving to join AC Milan in 2008. Ever since the Argentine took over the special number he has continued to hit new heights with the star being hailed as one of the greatest players of all time.



As reported by The Sun, Ronaldinho: 'When Messi retires, which I hope will be a long time from now, they should leave the No 10 there so that nobody can touch it again.

According to the Brazilian, Messi is Barcelona's best ever player and he believes the attacker whose current deal at the Nou Camp runs until the summer of 2021, will continue playing for many years to come.

'He is the best in the club's history and has done what no one else could.

I hope it stays that way for another 20 years at least. For anyone who loves football, we would like keep him at this level for many more years.'

Other notable stars to wear the No 10 shirt for Barcelona include Rivaldo, Romario and Pep Guardiola.

Nigerian popstar, Davido will clearly not be spending the mandated 3 weeks in camp for his NYSC programme as he just touched down in Boston ahead of his sold out 'Locked Up' concert tonight.


Davido made headlines a few weeks ago when he went to camp to register for the scheme and was back at the camp yesterday for the swearing in ceremony. Now he's currently in the United State to begin his tour.
