Today the psalmist draws our attention to the ever new mercy of God while exclaiming: "for his MERCY endureth forever...". We are all products of God's mercy. Because all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God,Romans 3:23 but we are lucky because His mercies never come to an end and they are new every morning. Lamentations 3:22-23. Let us today reflect on our lives and realise that the mercy of God has been upon us. If the Lord had not been on our side...we would have been swallowed up alive,Psalm 124:3. You are able to read this because God in his mercy has decided to make sure your eyes are functioning. We all have been through one difficulty at one point or the other but God's mercy saw us through. I personally have seen a lot of moments of sorrows and joy almost coming hand in hand but God has shown me mercy and kept me strong through all. Let us always keep our faith in God alive, His mercies endureth forever. Child of God, let us acknowledge the mercy of God today, appreciate it, but do not take it for. granted. Remember: the merciful God is also the God of justice. ***May Almighty God have mercy on us, forgive us our sins and bring us to everlasting life*** Good morning brethren and do have a mercy filled day ahead |

TheSonOfMark: None of them would agree to let you choke so you'd have to decide who gets the second. You're trying to be evasive, SalC, 'cause you know it's a tough decision.
Lol not really, in the case of oxygen, it might be a tough decision but certainly not In the case of meat. |

TheSonOfMark: Most men wouldn't take that decision 'cause that would be blackmail. He'd ask you to do what you like which is actually the test.
It's not about the meat. SalC, if you were in space with your dad and hubby and only one oxygen tank is left (after you've strapped one on yourself of course), who would you give?
And who says I won't give mine to them and rather get choked out there? Btw this one is a matter of life and death but no one dies for not eating a piece of meat. So no, TheSonOfMark, we can't compare these |

TheSonOfMark: For a soup we all have to eat(?), we will all have meat (sliced even).
Is this how much you like meat? Thesame meat you eat every other day? And don't forget this man is more like a father to you too. Whatever happens to respect and compromise? |
Family › Re: Only Meat In The Pot, Who Would You Give? your Father Or Husband? by SalC: 10:51am On Aug 11, 2015 |
TheSonOfMark: Loyalty is loyalty.
Oh! So you will feel betrayed that he places his mum over you? Relate that feeling to the OP.
All this fuss over a piece of meat? First I didn't say I will feel betrayed, just that the two scenario can't be compared. And if any of these two should occur, the couple has to agree on what is best. |

Serve both of them without meat and tell them to manage it that way, then eat the meat and prepare for whatever the outcome will be (I sure need that!).*lol kidding* I will explain to hubby before giving it to my father or simply share it between them. |
