Hello house, Pls just a few questions for the gurus on this platform. Pls who received ITA on the 8th of August,2018? Must someone do biometrics before pr application submission on express entry? Or can biometrics be done after getting aor? If biometrics is done after getting aor on express entry does it affect the federal skilled worker score in case of birthday or ielts expiry? Thirdly, must someone book appointment for the biometrics at lagos or abuja or is it a walk in service? |
Please what questions did they ask you when they called? jelmusboy: |
Osapaul24:Why asking if they ve previously applied for Canadian visa? Any issues with that? |
But they ve got that email address on their website... |
Or would it be better the lady that had her baby in maripoca writes the consular officer before reapplying? It could be possible the various hospitals give discounts to attract more patients, as there could be stiff competition in this regard. Besides, cash is king! Instead of haggling with insurance companies which is the order of the day. Let all just hope and pray dem VOs' understand. |
Hello Mamaron, She said she gave them both international and local addresses but they channelled all corresppndence to the US address and they insisted they dont send emails. |
Dear VO, Pls how do you handle a case of someone that gave birth twice in the US, paid all her bills and collected zero balance letters. Subsequently applied for renewal via drop box and was invited for interview. The officer asked for all the receipts , she gave all itemised and zero balance letters, he flipped through and told her she was given huge discount . She responsed that she was self pay and the hospitals usually give discount to self pay international patients. The vo looked at the birth certificate and told her you said you are resident there that is why the birth certificate has a u.s address on it. She said no, not at all that she said she is international and even gave the hospital her passport. That the address on the birth certificate and even receipts were for correspondence since they asked for a local address incase they want to post things, that they dont post internationally or send emails. The VO denied her the visa. She called the hospitals and they said she is not owing them as stated in her zero balance letter. Pls whp can she talk to? |
And generally, on their u s birth certificates they put the local address. |
@ Twood She did not claim she is a US resident, she gave them her international passport at each of the hospitals and they saw that she was an international self paying patient and they had a standard fee for everyone paying cash which she did and got her zero balance. Nobody ever told her of a 9k discount. The address on her son's birth certificate is a local address as they said they dont post any document internationally that a local address is where they post to. She never claimed she is a u s resident. |

Thank you Mr. Justwise and God bless you. She has filled the online application. Can she make payment at TLS? Would she go to the TLS centre with copies of the filled forms, supporting docs and payment copies or does she need to book appointment before going to TLS? Secondly, after filling forms online, can she go to TLS on walk in basis to make payment and do biometrics? Also how many trips does one need to make to TLS , is it 2? |
Thank you Delvindy. What if someone intends to do it in Abuja, IOM? The IOM people were called and they wete asking if it is chest xray, limited or general? And for the general, they said it is more than 100k, then limited is about 60k. Pls in this instance, would the full medical be the limited or general? I am asking because of the price. The 85k one from Fatayi is it the limited or general? As IOM is charging over a 100 K. Pls your thoughts. Kind regards |
Pls house kindly respond to the above as I urgently need to renew the visa tomorrow... |
Please do I need to book appointment at vfs abuja to submit visitor visa application? Secondly, after printing out the application forms do I staple them to supporting documents? Thirdly, pls what is the address of the visa application centre in abuja? Would I pay extra fees for the submission? |
Hello everyone! Pls what type of medical is required for potential phd students? Is the medical to be done before the visa application? Secondly, if a phd student gets a permanent job offer from an employer during the course of his studies how would he handle that? |
