So this is what we've come to? Police using tear gas on protesters just because someone gave advice? Nigeria, where the voice of the people is met with violence instead of dialogue. If this was in another country, our leaders would be crying out for justice and human rights. But here, it's just business as usual, with protesters becoming the scapegoats. What a shame! |
These hungry protesters think marching will fill their stomachs. Lagos has more pressing issues than this show of defiance. Instead of causing chaos, they should be finding ways to work with the government. |
Nigerians don’t tire for protest matter again. The Cross River residents have shown that they know better than to join the noise. Why waste energy on protests when you can channel that same energy into productive activities? SE: It’s high time we understand that protests don’t always lead to positive change. Instead, they often create more chaos. The same people we’re protesting against will still be in power tomorrow. SW: Some people just want to gather crowd for social media clout. They forget that while they’re busy shouting, the real issues affecting the common man remain unaddressed. No one wants to listen to empty rhetoric anymore. And let's not forget, the promises of change during protests often vanish faster than smoke. We need to focus on real solutions instead of jumping on the protest bandwagon. Kudos to Cross River for not falling for the trap. It’s time to be wise and find better ways to demand |
This one dey sweet me for belle. Sarki don show us say some people just dey talk for the sake of talking. How can you expect Tinubu to ask clerics for refund when na dem dey collect money to keep quiet? Na their business be that. Make we face reality, this protest no go change anything. The same people wey dey shout today go still collect small change tomorrow and forget all this noise. Na so dem dey play us like chess. If you wan protest, better get your facts right. Tinubu no go budge for anybody wey no fit show say dem serious. Na just noise wey go fade away like morning dew. So, Sarki, carry your demand go meet who fit hear you. Na only wind go carry am. |
Ndigbo don show say dem no get time for protest wahala. While others dey carry placards, our people dey hustle and open markets. How can you demand for anything when your own stomach dey cry for food? This na the reality wey dey face us. We no fit dey follow crowd wey no get clear direction. Protest for wetin? Make we focus on how to survive instead of wasting time. Those wey dey protest need to check dem priorities. If we no fit feed ourselves, how we go fit make any demands? E go better make we dey show sense than dey follow the noise wey no go lead anywhere. |
Na true talk you dey talk. Tinubu don show say e get the experience wey Nigeria need to move forward. No be every leader fit carry this heavy load wey dey ground for this country. E don gather enough support, and na im be the way forward for us. Time to rally behind am and make things better for all of us. Na only unity go fit carry us go higher. |
Another day, another protest. When will they realize that marching around won't solve our problems? Instead of wasting time on the streets, why not channel that energy into something productive? Nigeria needs solutions, not just noise. |
Why are we even talking about protests? It's like trying to fix a leaking roof with a band-aid. Peter Obi can't even keep his own house in order, and now he wants to lead a movement? Please. The South East should focus on real issues instead of wasting time on empty gestures. The only thing we should be giving the middle finger to is this idea of protest that leads nowhere. Enough of this noise! |
Protest? Please. It's just another waste of time and energy. People think they can just march around and make noise without any real plan or backing. The government has seen it all before, and they know how to handle these things. Besides, who really believes in the cause anymore? Everyone is just looking out for themselves. The August protest will be just like the others – a bunch of loud voices with no real impact. And let’s not forget the people who claim to be leading these protests; many of them are just in it for the clout. The moment they see that the tide is against them, they’ll jump ship faster than you can say “organize.” It’s a shame, really. Instead of uniting for real change, they’re just setting themselves up for disappointment. The only thing that will come out of this is more frustration and empty promises. |
So much for the so-called activism. When it’s time to actually stand up for their community, the same people that shout the loudest online are nowhere to be found. Nigerians love to talk big but when it comes to action, it's all noise and no substance. |
This is the height of confusion! How can someone not know they were brought to counter a protest? This just shows the level of manipulation happening in our political landscape. The so-called supporters of Tinubu are just pawns in a game they don’t even understand. They are being used to create a façade of support while the real issues are left unaddressed. It’s sad to see people being misled like this. Protesters should be genuinely fighting for change, not being turned into tools for political theatrics. If you don’t understand the purpose of your presence, then what are you even doing there? It’s embarrassing and shows a lack of political awareness. Let’s be real; these counter-protests only serve to distract from the real problems Nigerians are facing. Enough of this charade! |
So they think tear gas will silence the noise? These protesters need to realize that shouting in the streets won’t change the course of governance. Nigeria’s issues run deeper than mere protests. |
Nigeria and its endless cycle of protests. Instead of seeking dialogue, they choose to escalate tensions. Why is it that every little disagreement turns into chaos? It’s like a script we can’t stop watching. Instead of solutions, we get more problems. Time to rethink strategies, or are we just waiting for the next round of violence? |
Just another day of chaos in Nigeria. Instead of finding solutions, these protesters are blocking roads and causing more problems. What do they think will come out of this? More hardship for the everyday citizen. It’s like they don’t understand the ripple effect of their actions. |
This is what happens when people realize that protests are just a waste of time. Akwa Ibom people don dey wise up, no be every small noise wey dem go follow. Who wan come protest for what? This government don show us say dem no care about our voices, so why go waste energy? Make dem continue their empty plans while we dey focus on our daily hustle. Protest no be solution, na just distraction. If you no get better plan to change things, better sit down for house. |
If you ask me, all this protest wahala na just noise. Instead of wasting time on the streets, these people should be drafting proposals wey fit make sense. How can you be leading a people wey no even know wetin dem want? Dem go just dey shout without a plan. If na me, I go focus on solutions rather than forming agitation. Na why we dey suffer for this country; everybody dey carry protest like say e go solve our problems. Proposals fit lead to actual change, but protests just dey scatter everywhere without direction. Leaders wey no fit articulate what dem want no fit lead anybody. Na only noise dem sabi make. |
This one na classic case of the pot calling the kettle black. They were the same people shouting and dancing when they thought the grass was greener on the other side. Now, hardship don catch them, they want to shift blame. APC is trying, but some people just like to complain for the sake of it. Meanwhile, we dey push forward with our Jagaban, no retreat, no surrender! |
Another day, another protest. What are they hoping to achieve this time? Seems like some people have turned protesting into a full-time job instead of seeking real solutions. If only they channeled that energy into productive endeavors, maybe we would see some progress in this country. |
Why are we always gathering for protests instead of working towards solutions? These protesters in Port Harcourt need to realize that shouting on the streets won't fix the problems. If only they channeled that energy into constructive dialogue, maybe we’d see real change instead of just more noise. |
These protests won't change anything. People dey shout for street, but the government no go hear their cry. Na only noise dem sabi make. If hunger no fit teach us sense, wetin else go fit? Yobe residents need to wake up; protest no go fill their stomachs. Just another day of empty noise. |
Nigerians and their protest wahala. See as everywhere dey lock up because of small hardship. Instead of people to reason and strategize, they just want to go on the streets and disturb the peace. Eateries and banks now suffering because of this senseless protest. What do they think they will achieve? Just adding more fuel to the fire of hardship. This is not the time for protests; it’s time for solutions. But no, our people would rather shout and destroy instead of sitting down to plan how to navigate this difficult period. Na so dem go dey lock everywhere down. Honestly, this protest is just another distraction, and the government will just sit back and watch as the noise continues. Who is really benefitting from all this chaos? Not the average Nigerian, that’s for sure. |
Omo, this man wey dey call himself Peter Obi don turn Nigeria into a joke. Na only him dey find underground routes wey lead to hell, while we dey suffer for road wey suppose lead to progress. Every day, na new drama from this man wey no fit even handle his own party matter. We no need no underground railroad; we need leaders wey go fit carry us go better place, not this one wey dey dig pit for us. Nigerians deserve better than this charade. |
No be small matter! This na the same people wey dey call for democracy wey go still dey support the same old tactics of dictatorship when e suit them. Tinubu don show say e dey committed to democratic principles, but some no go ever see the good side. We need to focus on progress and not just the politics wey dey divide us. Make we give am chance to show wetin e fit do for the country instead of always throwing accusations. Naija deserve better conversations! |
Another day, another protest. Seems like some people have nothing better to do than disrupt peace and cause chaos. When will they learn that shouting doesn't solve anything? |
Ojota again? These protesters have turned Lagos into their playground. Instead of addressing real issues, they gather to make noise. What’s the end game here? Just another day of blocking roads and causing chaos while the real problems in Nigeria remain untouched. |
Kano and its endless drama. Another round of protest circus, as if that’s the solution to our problems. Instead of constructive dialogue, we’re just watching people shout and wave banners. When will we learn that protests rarely lead to real change? Just another day in Nigeria where noise is mistaken for progress. |
Why are they protesting again in Benin City? These protests are becoming a nuisance and it's the same old story every time. Instead of finding solutions, these people just want to make noise and disrupt the peace. What exactly do they hope to achieve? If they spent half the energy they use for protests on actual productive work, maybe things would change for the better. Benin should focus on development, not chaos. Enough is enough! |
Protests are just a way for people to make noise without real solutions. Why should anyone put themselves at risk when the same issues keep repeating? It's like shouting into a void. Instead of looking for ways to protect yourself during a protest, how about we focus on why protests keep happening in the first place? It’s a cycle of frustration with no end in sight. People should think twice before stepping into chaos; there are better ways to express discontent that don't involve getting caught up in the madness. At the end of the day, the same politicians remain in power, and the citizens are left to pick up the pieces. Protests are just a distraction from real accountability. |
Protests in Nigeria are becoming a circus, honestly. What are we even protesting for now? It's like we are just marching in circles without any real plan or purpose. Everyone is shouting but nobody is listening. The same people who claim to fight for change are the ones who will turn around and sell out for a plate of rice. How do you expect anything meaningful to come out of that? It’s high time we stopped this endless cycle of protests that yield nothing but noise. If we want to make a difference, let’s channel that energy into real solutions instead of just gathering to complain. Until we recognize that the protest is not the end goal but just a means to an end, we will keep spinning our wheels while the country remains in the same sorry state. |
Na wa o. This is the kind of chaos that follows when people decide to protest without a clear plan. Instead of addressing the real issues, they just scatter everywhere like headless chickens. In Nigeria, protests are just a platform for people to display their frustration without any real change. The blood of innocent people is on the hands of those who incite these protests. We have seen it before; the politicians are busy playing their games while the common man suffers the consequences. The people in Borno are paying the price for what? For a protest that won't change anything? If the leaders truly cared, they would focus on protecting lives instead of letting people march around without understanding the risks involved. This is just a cycle of violence that leads nowhere. |
These Niger Delta people don dey show their true colors again. Instead of addressing the real issues, they are busy pointing fingers at leaders who are only trying to save face. Who are these leaders to talk about boycotting protests when they have failed the people time and again? It's the same old story; they just want to divert attention from their own incompetence. All this talk about protests is just a distraction from the fact that they have been feeding fat while the common man suffers. The so-called leaders should be the ones leading by example, not hiding behind empty rhetoric. At the end of the day, these protests will amount to nothing because the same hands that should be guiding us are the ones tying us down. It’s a pity that genuine voices get drowned in the noise of selfish agendas. |
