Odunayo Ibrahim, is the CEO of SALLY EVENTS. She has 10 years of experience in the highly competitive events industry, where she's managed, several weddings and provided excellent events services to companies such as, Cowbell, Cussons Baby, Nunu Milk, Aelex, and Landmark, amongst many others.
It is good to know that she started her events company as an undergraduate. She bagged a B.A in Philosophy and an M.SC in Managerial Psychology, from the first choice University Of Lagos. Both courses harmed her with leadership, management and organizational skills which has given her a competitive edge in the events industry and how she relates with her staff.

Ushers, being street smart is an important skill and a good way to take care of your self. Avoid dangerous spots and situations and stay as alert as possible at all times.

Unfamiliar territory : When you are sent a venue or an address you have never been to. The first thing is to make your research about the area before setting out. Leave your house early, when asking for directions ask two or more people to confirm you are going the right way.

Be Security conscious : stop chatting on your phone or taking selfies in a strange area, this might attract thieves to you. Put your phone away while you are on the move so that you can keep your head up and concentrate on your surroundings.

Transportation : Don't enter the wrong Bus or taxi, ask if they are going to the same direction as you.
Always carry enough cash so you don't get stranded.

Move with a friend or with other ushers when leaving the venue of the event. Avoid discussing the job or how much you were paid in public transport.

Give your parent or guardian the address you are going to and the number of the agency or the contact person you will be working with. Tell them if they don't see you at a particular time they should call you or your agency.

Of all the most important days in life, there is always a memorable day in the life of every child. Birthdays are of utmost importance to every child. It makes them feel loved and special. They look forward to inviting all their friends to come and celebrate with them on this special day.

The 5th of August 2017 was a special day for the Clinton. Sally Event was at Ipaja, Lagos, an extreme end of Lagos on the mainland to celebrate with Clinton on his 7th birthday.

Just as children love colourful things, we choose some of his favorite colours; blue, green and red to grace the occasion. With the assistance of his Dad who is also into events planning, their compound was decorated to create a birthday ambience with a colorful array of balloons and ribbons.

As energetic as children are, a play area was specially carved out for the children to enjoy themselves. A bouncing castle, electric cars, loops and other games children love were added to make the event a memorable one.

Nothing becomes interesting to a child if there's nothing to whet his appetite. Sweet treats like candy floss, popcorn, chocolates, biscuits and sweet drinks was also provided.

Sally Ushers decorated each child with party caps, facial mask and special badges. Our dedicated and friendly ushers took care of the children and ensured that no children got hurt while playing.

However, our love for children helped us to understand what we would need to make the party fun for them. Clinton will never forget his 7th birthday. It was indeed a perfect and memorable experience.

It has come to our notice at Sally Ushers that one young man named Mr Micheal Ohuegbe, using a false name, Mr Micheal Kendrick, "Michael Dhitter" on facebook, has been falsely using pictures of Sally ushers to lure unsuspecting girls to his said agency. This he does with criminal claims, that the ladies in the numerous pictures he uses on his Instagram page, "@belint_ushering_agency",His Face book 'The executive ushers' twitter handle @Sidney_shocker and other social media platforms, not forgetting his whatsapp number(+234 809 404 3076) are his ushers, and in the process, demands exhorbitant amounts of money which he says is meant for registration, from innocent young girls, promising to reward them with juicy contracts that seemingly do not exist. Calls have been placed to him in order to stop these criminal acts, all to no avail. He has also blocked a lot of my friends who have tried contacting him via whatsapp denigrating them with unprintable languages.
