The least you guys could do was to invest and build industries that.would engage in the local manufacturing of the goods you were importing, then Nigerians could have fought to protect those industries

They think it's that easy to compete with China, even almighty USA has to hike tariff on imported goods from China to make it expensive. Lots of world major brand mass produce in China because it's very affordable to produce their than their country. They have a devalued currency, they make use of cheap labour, took advantage of their population. Let's not even talk about how their government made it easy for them coupled with Nigerian naira that's struggling to stable at 1340. Small money they bring into Nigeria from the country, will turn into 100s of millions of naira, how do we even compete sef.

I'm Ogoni not Igbo, I've been around Igbo and Yoruba and I'll tell you Igbo are more accommodating while Yoruba care about Yoruba though very peaceful. My place if you by mistake count 10 houses owned by Yoruba, trust me you must have counted over 30 houses owned by Igbos, but you'll easily see Yorubas being in strategic positions in different companies over here same thing with northerners. One thing i hate about Igbo is their mentality, you can easily lie to them and they'll believe it and stand by it. Eg, Buhari was dead the person ruling Nigeria was Jubril al Sudan, you can imagine but aside that they're nice people and real hustlers.

Where I'm from in Rivers State is not as developed compared to Lagos but quite open. Over the years we've observed how leadership has changed views overtime, we embrace others as part of us. You Yorubas are tribalist, Igbos are not tribalist but very loud and sometimes very annoying my personal observation. As a political candidate, you have the right to associate with all ethnic groups, they'll be your subject when you get into power. Or maybe yorubas aren't tribalist but tinubu government is promoting tribalism to remain in power, GVR has done nothing wrong to be called a hater of Yoruba. Let's use the US for example, they embrace everyone is still tell you America first, has there ever been something that GVR has done against the Yoruba nation aside your imagination that he hates Yoruba because he can't speak his language.

Simply because you can speak doesn't mean you should talk down on those that can't. I'm having the same challenge, i hear my language very well but i can't speak, I've tried to but still not working. I've seen people that are fluent in speaking English but spelling is an issue to them. What they should be more focused about is governance, surprisingly he might even be someone that wants to preserve the Yoruba culture.

It actually needs rebranding, simply because seeing it makes you remember your childhood memories doesn't apply to children born now, you're not their target customer, you won't buy because you've outgrown it. It has to be rebranded to catch the attention of little children. But if they don't want you rebrand the packaging, then they'll change it's taste entire, to a very rich taste, including the size of the biscuit.

Do they think the international oil industry will be as gullible as Nigerians and not do risk assessment? You think a negligible 1 billion barrels coupled with insecurity of ISWAP, Ansaru, Boko Haram , Lakurawa etc will attract foreign investment into the oil blocks of Northern Nigeria?

This is what happens when sentiment prevails over economic pragmatism.

I was the best in mathematics from all through primary and secondary School, i wasn't opportune to take part in a competition. I just did some calculations, mehn the US has made over $150billion just for crude oil sales as the price of oil increased. Nigeria also has made up to $20billion in the 4 months of war.
