Some time ago, I was lying down in my children's room and I didn't have any money. I just complained about this in my heart and never said a word to anyone. Not even to my wife or children.

As I was lying there, not up to 1hour, my phone rang. I picked up and it was my elder sister who lives in the US. She asked me Bobo, what's the problem? I said nothing am fine. She said no, what's the problem? Send me ur account details. Before I could say Jack Robinson, gbam!!! She made a transfer to my account and even asked me to manage it...and I never mentioned anything to anyone! That's the God we serve!! Hallelujah!!!

If ur thinking that everyone has forgotten u, hear me, my God has not forgotten u. He is our maker. He is our keeper. Remember, He that watches over Israel never sleeps nor slumber. Key into this great and mighty God today and tell Him to take over all ur burden. And ur life will turn around for ur own good.

I pray for someone today, may someone whom u have helped in life remember u today and help u in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. I pray for u today, may ur destiny helpers locate u today and move u to the next level in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth...amen. Hallelujah!!!

I woke up this morning being Wednesday, the 21st day of June 2023 with tears in my eyes. I slept yesterday almost crying to God in prayers. Why was I crying? I remember that my birthday will be on the 23rd of June which is about 2 days from now. I was crying because of all the money I lost during the process (my encounter with God) that got me here. I lost everything and having started again from the very beginning from $0 balance with debts to be paid. I realized that my plan of travelling out with my family during my birthday will not work out. Not even a dime to celebrate it...and I started my day with tears.

After sometime, I stepped down from my bed and knelt down and cried to the Almighty God and asked him to allow the blessings he has released into me to reach me. After that prayer, I freshened up and went to the market for preaching not knowing today's program had been canceled. When I got there, I was told it won't hold. After sometimes, I came back to the house and checked my partners accounts. I received the shock of my life! The first one suddenly has money credited. I didn't believe it. But all through this week, nothing came in. I checked and checked and checked...nothing! I quickly checked the other 3 accounts and saw that all of them were also credited and suddenly, my language changed!! Lol. Hallelujah!!!

That's the kind of God we serve. If u genuinely cry to Him for anything in prayers, u shall have it! According to Mark 11: 24 it says, "Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them".

Remember that SALVATION through the Son of God is key. If u don't have Jesus Christ as ur Lord and personal saviour, then ur prayers might be hindered. Run to him today and He will turn ur situation around for ur own good. God bless u and also keep u from any problem that will consume u this year in Jesus name amen.

Another thing I noticed when I was in that area is that, anytime I had any attack, once I begin to cry to God in prayer, or I pray ordinarily to God to rescue me, something always happen. A brief rain MUST fall. The rain will be so SEVERE and short. It can last for 10mins or 20mins max but it must fall within the area where I am ONLY! In the beginning, it was very destructive but as time went on, it's strength of falling gradually reduced with less thunderstorm and lightning...I don't know why till date but I know with time, I will find out.

Another thing I noticed when I was at Prophet Emmanuel's house/church was that I became aware Spiritually/physically to good news or bad news before they come. A sign is always shown to me which I would not like to mention here. Once I see them, they always work. So this made me pray more and keyed into the Almighty God more...

DIVINE ENERGY DRINK IV

MESSAGE:

There is yet a more concentrated energy drink from heaven that is called 'Joy Unspeakable'. Joy unspeakable enables you to do miracles that even you will think you are dreaming when you remember them. Psalm 126:1 says, "When the LORD turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream".

Joy unspeakable gives you the ability to do the kind of miracles that you will find difficult to share with people, as they may not be able to believe them.

I had an experience that took me years before l could share. I had gone out on a,prayer walk in the middle of the night - deep into the bush where l could be alone to pray. I had my torch with me, but after praying for some time, the battery died and l needed to find my way out in the darkness. I then remember something l was taught in primary school: that if the room is dark and you close your eyes for a while then open them, the place will look brighter. I closed my eyes for a while and then open them. When l opened my eyes, the moon was shining so bright; everywhere was as bright as day. I walked out of the bush to the main road, then looked up again and didn't see the moon. I know you probably don't believe me, but it happened.

There was a young man whose aunty died and then was embalmed. He was working in Lagos and it took eleven days before he could get permission from work to go home. He got home, entered the room where the woman was laid, carrying the deceased's little child. He took a handkerchief that we anointed at one of our programmes and laid it on the corpse. He prayed, but then nothing happened. He wasn't really expecting anything to happen anyway, he was just trying his faith. Sad, he turned to leave the room. As he got to the door, he heard a sound behind him. On looking back, he discovered that his aunt who had been dead for eleven days was sitting upright. When he shared the testimony, a lot of people didn't believe, but it was true. I have good news for you: My Daddy will fill your life with mighty testimonies and unspeakable joy in the mighty name of Jesus.

PRAYER POINT

Father, empower me so mightily that I will begin to experience miracles that people will find hard to believe, in Jesus name.

I remember when I was staying at that my friends house on that street. My spirit told me the two houses on the same lane before my friends house was also owned and controlled by the same group of Witches. How did I know? I see how they all gazed at me with disdain whenever they see me. In order to confirm this, I asked another friend of mine who lives in the same compound with that my friend. His name is Williams and he is a Benin man. He confirmed to me that they are many on that street and it was not hidden. He even told me that there was day he was driving out very early in the morning around 4am and he saw that woman I mentioned earlier that she is a witch dropping a SACRIFICE at a 3 road JUNCTION. He said he was shocked and he moved away quickly...

Another day we were together, I told him the reason why his area is not developed is because anywhere u have WITCHES, u don't have development or progress around there because they drive such good things away. From my little knowledge about them, they thrive or get promoted when they cause serious harm, tears or sorrow to people around themselves, especially their own. He confirmed to me that they are so many in that area and has always stood against the government when they want to repair the entrance to that very street and so many other projects that didn't work out...

As time went on, I asked a church member ( a woman minister) who lives on that same street I mentioned earlier where I said that landlady is a WITCH. I asked her if she has noticed anything strange about that house or about that woman? She immediately told me that woman is a witch!! I asked her how? She said everyone on that street knows. And even Prophet Emmanuel knows and told my friend the day he saw the woman. She also mentioned that they are many on that street and she knows alot of them. She even said her next door neighbor who runs a small shop near her is also among. Now that is totally true!! How do I know? That time I newly came to that their area/ street, the day I stepped out to that shop to buy something. When I got there, immediately she saw me, it was like she wanted to get up to fight me. Her face was like I stole something that belongs to her. And the manner u used in responding to me showed her complete disgust for me even though she had never met me in her life!! And funny enough, I was very polite to her because I knew who she was immensely I saw her...

My Deliverance: Day 3

On the third day of our fasting and praying, it was so intensed that nobody told me that something had left me. He made mention of alot of things that had transpired between me and them without me telling him anything. At the end of the session, we stopped and went inside to break our fast.

From that day, my sleep became better and better as each day passed by. As I stayed under his roof till early December 2022, I noticed I started to connect very well to God through praying and studying the word of God. And spiritually, I noticed I became stronger and stronger. Alot of things around me started making sense. I began to understand alot of things I had noticed before but didn't understand...

As per the attacks, it reduced drastically. So many times I noticed they came but can't come inside the house. I was later told by Prophet Emmanuel that he and his family has a covering called GRACE and that's why they came earlier to warn him not to accept me into his house but he ignored them. So many times at night, something will wake me up to start to pray and I will begin praying immediately. Most times I will notice something is outside the window watching me around midnight, but if I look, I can't see anything but I will know that something is there. As time went on, all these gradually reduced...

My Neighbor who is a Pastor

In my office at Artillery in Port Harcourt, I had a neighbor who is a pastor in my Church but not the same parish. He didn't know we belonged to the same Church. He was a big time distributor in electronics. He alone took about 3 shops which means he pay 3 times what I pay yearly.

One day I begged him to pls allow me to hang my signage along side his own. Either by the side or anywhere on the front wall. He said he will think about it. That he will ask his wife if I can be allowed to hang it there. Meanwhile we were both tenants...I told him to give me a time frame and he did. After that time expired, I started trying to see him but he kept on avoiding me. Eventually, I ran into him and I asked him again but he turned me down. He said the wife said NO. I was shocked. I told him but it's a place u are renting and it's me and u that is here. What has ur wife got to do with anything? I don't even know her and don't even see her. He insisted and said NO. I said okay and walked away...as I was walking away, I became angry at him and turned back. I said to him "I didn't do anything to u and u refused to help a fellow man like u. For that my God will reply u in less than a month". As I said, I was very angry and I walked away. Am sure all his workers/staff would be surprised that I talk.

In less than a month as I told him, boom!!! The government came and marked a part of that building for demolition because they wanted to expand that road. When they came, they went straight to the middle between his office and mine (his own was in front and mine was the second) and drew a line. They cut the building into two and removed his 2 shops and I became the first facing the main road. Not only that, he started dodging me. He was now watching me from afar. Another day again, he sent one of his staff to give him chairs for his visitors and I did without hesitation. That period he received a call from the landlady asking him to pack out immediately for no reason and he moved out to Oyibo (Obigbo) from the remaining office!!!

All these fulfilled the book of Roman 12:20 which says "Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head".

Until he left that premises, he was dodging me. Lol... Hallelujah!!!

High Chief Donatus

Somewhere in Afikpo, a man named High Chief Donatus was a very great man in the sight of many. This was so because of his WEALTH. He was so wealthy that so many people wanted to be like him. He built so many houses and owned several clean cars. Women wanted to be his next wife and so on...many went to him for help but he does little or nothing to help anyone.

After some time, people discovered that this man's wealth was not ordinary. No wonder he wears white most of the time. Every DECEMBER he would come home from his base in convoy of several new cars (SUVs) with his family and security. But by 12midnight on the 31st of every december, he will follow the back door and walk NAKED carrying a big WHITE SPOTLESS RAM to the village river. This river never dries and the distance is about 15mins if u drive or 50mins if u walk very fast from his house.

Now something happens each time he gets to the river. He will not drop the ram on his neck and will say some INCANTATIONS and the river will DIVIDE INTO TWO PARTS right in front of him and he would walk into the river on dry ground. After some hours, he will come out...as the demands increased, he couldn't meet up again and suddenly he fell sick. So sick that no matter where they took him to, they will tell u there is no solution to his illness. That only him has the solution required. He eventually died and his money ebbed away in a jiffy!!! As I speak to u, his household is to ur own tent oh Israel!!!

Psalm 127:1 says unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labours in vain. Unless the Lord watches over a city, the guard stands watch in vain. Genesis 26:12 says Isaac planted crops and in the same year reaped a hundred fold, BECAUSE the Lord blessed him.

Brethren according to Psalm 75:6-7 (KJV), For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, Nor from the south. But God is the judge: He putteth down one, and setteth up another. Remember according to the book of Proverbs 10:22, it says “The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.” Focus all u do on God and he will lift u up for good in Jesus Christ name amen. I pray for someone today, my God will locate u and lift u up in due time in Jesus Christ name I pray...amen. Hallelujah!!!

Last Sunday which was men's day, I looked for a pen to write one or two things down in church and I noticed that I didn't have any. I just said in my heart that I need a pen. I didn't just stop there. I described the pen by saying, I need a very beautiful pen that can fit into my glass case which will be very unique. As I said it, I didn't say a word to anyone. Immediately I said it, God heard me and sent someone to give me a father's day gift. When he opened it...it was a unique pen and it is very beautiful 🤩. I smiled. My God is more than ABLE to do all things according to His RICHES in glory.

Indeed the bible says in Pslam 121:3-4 that He will not let my foot to slip, He who watches over me will not slumber. Indeed He who watches over Israel will neither sleep nor slumber. Hallelujah!!

Sometime ago, I was worried about my rented apartment. The roof was begining to leak, the zink outside was beginning to fall apart and the painting too became bad. I didn't call anyone or tell anyone. As I was just complaining about it inside of my Spirit, immediately my phone rang. It was my landlord calling. He said I should not be angry that he is sending someone immediately to the house to come fix the place. And to be sincere with u, I never complained to a single soul about this. While it was yet in my heart, God asked him to get it done immediately.

Like joke like joke, he sent someone to come and check the whole house and get the estimates for the things required to fix. Before I can say Jack they came and started work.

Why do u think the whole thing happened this way? The bible says that the prayer of a righteous man is very powerful and effective (James 5: 16b). Pslam 20:4 says "May he give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed". Lastly Proverbs 16:3 says "Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established". Hallelujah!!!

My Office Caretaker


My landlady lives outside the country but runs her business in Nigeria by proxy. She uses a caretaker who is from my side. Not just from my side, from my village! When the caretaker noticed am from her side, the two of us were very excited and became a little close.

When I moved into that office some years ago, the whole place was in a state of comatose. The building was very old, the inside was too bad and no commercial presence. Immediately, I took it upon myself and started from somewhere. The office I rented was big like a mini church because I trade forex (We need space for so many things) and very expensive too. I cleaned up the place, refurbished the whole office (changed the door & windows and tinted them), rewired it, painted and made it look modern. Anyone who walks into my office must have something nice to say to me about the interior.

I made sure I did alot of prayers there and alot of radio adverts. Before u can say Jack, people came there and rented offices and even MTN came there and BOOM!!! People started trooping into the place...after a small time, the rent of that place was increased to almost double. I didn't complain. I continued paying because I could afford it. After I had gone to the villa to renovate my dad's house....boom!! Problems started!!! (See the Story of how I was delivered for ur guide on the first page).

She called me one day like that before my rent expired and asked me to renew my rent. I told her to wait, that I have like a month before my current rent expires. That I will pay once it expires. Truth is that I have never owed them. I usually pay on time or as at when I tell them I will make my payment. She was angry. As in from no where ooo. And this was the same person who I told u earlier that is from my villa. Am sure my landlady gave her that authority to ask me to pay or move out at the said date.

A day before it expired, she called me again to make sure I leave on that date my rent is expiring...just like that. I begged her and said pls, I won't be able to meet up with the rent. She should give me a month to gather that large amount. That I can even get it before that month end and she bluntly refused. I reminded her that I wasn't owing before now and have never owed them. And she should remember all I did to make that office look presentable. She ignore me and said I MUST NOT spend an additional day in that office or be forced to make another year rent. On that said date, I looked up and down, with tears in my heart. I said, as long as I didn't offend this women, as long as I didn't owe and they are forcing me out like this. As long as I did good to them and made the place to be very good, no one will ever take that office again!!!

I moved out and left most of the things I installed for them because I know the moment I build mine, people will also treat mine that way (the universal law of harvest). That office is at No 52 Aba Road by NDLEA Artillery Ph, go and check, TILL TODAY no one has taken that place (James 5:17-18). And it's the best among all the offices there. It's still locked till date!!! That's what God can do. That's why when u see a man of God, a true man of God, don't judge or criticize him because His maker will deal with him when he errs. If u sow a seed he is never expecting into his life, he can cause ur life to be changed for good just by his words or tears. As I type this I am crying because I know how I suffered there, but someone just decided to be wicked to me. But God who watches over Israel, never sleeps nor slumber and He will do it at His own time.

Whoever u are and where ever u may be, ensure u submit ur life to the Almighty God by accepting Jesus Christ as ur Lord and personal saviour. He cares for u and will never forsake His own. God bless u.

DIVINE ENERGY DRINK III

MEMORISE:
Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give. MATTHEW 10:8

1 Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,

4 And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he demanded of them where Christ should be born.

6 And thou Bethlehem, in the land of Juda, art not the least among the princes of Juda: for out of thee shall come a Governor, that shall rule my people Israel.

MESSAGE:
Beyond great joy, there is a higher concentration of this energy drink which is called ‘Exceeding Great Joy’.

In our Bible reading for today, when the wise men who had been traveling a long way, looking for the new born King saw the star again, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy. They continued on their journey as if they had just started.

Exceeding great joy gives you the ability to go the extra mile, to do exceeding great things that ordinary people cannot do.

This exceeding great joy comes from the Holy Spirit. Ephesians 5:18. When you get this concentration of joy, people will assume that you are drunk.

Imagine seeing two people
asking a man who has been lame all his life to stand and walk. That doesn’t make any sense, but it is only possible when you are filled with the Holy Ghost.

One unique thing about this concentration of joy is that as you utilise it, you get even more of it. If you have ever seen someone who the doctors say has only a few more weeks to live and you pray for the fellow, then he or she gets healed and lives for many more decades after that, you would get a new rush of exceeding great joy. Your faith would increase and you would be empowered to do more.

There are so many people who are filled with the Holy Ghost but never pray for the sick or try to perform any miracle.

Once, when I was crying to God to empower me to work miracles, He told me, “Keep quiet. Have you used the power that I have given you?” I said, “What power?” He answered, “Are you baptised in the Holy Ghost?” I said, “Yes”. He responded, “What does Acts 1:8 say?” I knew what it says, but then I didn’t feel like I had received any power so I responded, “But, I don’t feel powerful” to which He replied, “Did I say the just shall live by feelings or by faith?”

The day after this conversation, a woman brought her dying child who had not slept for days, to me for prayers. I remembered my conversation with God, so I prayed for the child. After praying, I opened my eyes to see that the child had fallen asleep. When he woke up, he was completely fine.

That boosted my faith and filled my heart with exceeding great joy. I am grateful that He is still filling me with exceeding great joy and working many great miracles through me.

He can do the same for you if you surrender all to Him.

KEY POINT:
Use the power you received when you were baptised in the Holy Ghost to work miracles through faith in Christ Jesus.

DIVINE ENERGY DRINK II

And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. LUKE 2:10

1 And Saul was consenting unto his death. And at that time there was a great persecution against the church which was at Jerusalem; and they were all scattered abroad throughout the regions of Judaea and Samaria, except the apostles.
2 And devout men carried Stephen to his burial, and made great lamentation over him.
3 As for Saul, he made havock of the church, entering into every house, and haling men and women committed them to prison.
4 Therefore they that were scattered abroad went every where preaching the word.
5 Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them.
6 And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did.
7 For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were possessed with them: and many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed.
8 And there was great joy in that city.

MESSAGE:
There is yet a more concentrated type of energy drink that comes from heaven to man, called ‘Great Joy’.

Luke 2:8-16 tells of how the angels, at the birth of Jesus Christ, told the Shepherds that they had brought good news of great joy. Nehemiah 8:10 says the joy of the Lord shall be your strength.

When you have great joy, you will be able to do anything your heart desires for God.

When we started building the camp, because of the great joy of having our own campground at last, we did things that people would consider impossible – like building and completing a house and then furnishing it within seven days! As the Lord lives, you will experience great joy today, in Jesus’ name.

Now, what are the things that can bring you great joy? 3 John 1:4 says,

“I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.”

You experience great joy when you are making disciples for Christ, when you are seeing people being saved from the horrors of darkness into the light of God.

In the example I gave above where we built a house in seven days, we were not joyful because we now had a place to sleep, but rather because we now had a bigger platform through which we could win more souls to Christ.

If you have not been winning souls to Christ, you don’t know what joy you have been missing.

Jesus said there is joy in heaven whenever one sinner repents. Luke 15:7. So, if God wins a soul through you, and there is rejoicing in heaven, don’t you think that you would also be a partaker of that joy?

This great joy is majorly fuelled by the knowledge of how much Jesus loves us. Philemon 1:7 says there is great joy in love.

When we consider how much God’s love has done for us, we are strengthened to do anything just to make sure that His will is done on earth.

He has no greater need than for souls to be saved.

ACTION POINT:
Make sure you win a soul to Christ today.

INTRODUCTION
God does not necessarily need our strength or strong points to use us. Oftentimes, He delights in using our weakness, because whenever He does, we do not get to share in His glory. God wants us to be examples to others of what He can do in and with us if only we are willing and obedient to do His will. God is still looking for vessels to use.

BIBLICAL EXAMPLES OF VESSELS GOD USED

God is no respecter of persons (Acts 10:34). There are biblical examples of vessels that God used despite their weaknesses or shortcomings. These include:

1. Moses: A fearful man (Exodus 2:14), of low self-esteem (Exodus 3:11) and stammerer (Exodus 4:10). He was chosen by God to deliver the Israelites from age-long captivity (Numbers 12:6-.

2. Gideon: A man of doubt (Judges 6:11-13; 6:36-40) and low esteem (Judges 6:14-15). He became the vessel chosen to liberate his people from the Midianites (Judges 7:19-25).

3. David: He was the least in his father's house (1Samuel 17:14a; 16:11-12), an adulterer (2Samuel 11:2-4) and apparent murderer (2Samuel 11:14-17). He became a man after God's heart (1Samuel 13:14).

4. Peter: An unlearned fisherman who slept instead of praying (Matthew 26:37-44) and even denied Christ three times (Mark 14:66-72). He was mightily used of God (Matthew 16:16-19, Luke 22:31-32; Acts 2:40-41; 3:6-.

5. Paul: When he was Saul, persecuted the Church, arrested and aides the killing of many believers (Acts 8:1-3). Jesus converted and made him a chosen vessel especially to the gentile nations (Acts 9:1-15).

GOD'S REQUIREMENTS AND REWARDS

God is looking for vessels and His requirements include: faithfulness (Luke 19:17; 1Corinthians 4:2; Jeremiah 5:1); availability (Ezekiel 22:30; Isaiah 6:; teachability (John 14:23; Matthew 10:24); obedience to God's word (2Timothy 2:21; Proverbs 13:13) and being strong in Christ (John 14:13; 15:16).

In addition, God wants us to purge ourselves of every contamination of the body and soul (1Timothy 2:21), lay aside weights (Hebrews 12:1), die to self (John 12:24-26), not to look for Fame and it's associated fanfare, but to be completely yielded to Him. God can discern every thought and motive behind every action (Hebrews 4:13; Psalm 33:13-15).

Let us choose to serve Him with all sincerity of heart and press on to the mark of His high calling in Christ (Philippians 3:12-14). God rewards everything done in His name, whether in secret or in the open (Isaiah 45:19; Psalm 58:11; Hebrews 11:6; Revelation 22:12).

CONCLUSION
You are the next vessel to be used by God. Stop resisting Him.

DIVINE ENERGY DRINK I

MEMORISE:
Thou will shew me the path of life, in thy presence is fullness of joy, at thy right hand there are pleasures forever more. PSALM 16:11

18 Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.
19 The LORD God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds' feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. To the chief singer on my stringed instruments.

MESSAGE:
Nehemiah 8:10 says the joy of the Lord is your strength. Joy produces strength and strength is the ability to do work. Joy is the energy drink that heaven gives you to keep you strong and healthy enough to work.

The thing about this energy drink is that it has different concentrations, depending on how much of it is needed per time.

The one with the smallest concentration is what I will call regular joy. You are supposed to have a dose of it every morning. Psalm 30:5 says 'weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.'

People who suffer depression find it difficult to even stand from their beds in the morning. If you are experiencing any form of depression or sadness, I pray that the Lord will fill you with joy and strengthen you, in Jesus’ name.

One of the ways of getting joy is through hearing good news. Psalm 51:8 says,

“Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice”.

A brother returned from work so tired he refused dinner and just went to bed. As soon as he got to his room, his fiancée came to visit. His mother welcomed her but said the brother was very tired and had gone to bed.

However, the brother heard his fiancée’s voice and rushed out. He went to his mother and asked what he could offer the young lady. She replied, “There is rice but you will have to cook it”. He said, “No problem, I will cook”.

The mother looked at him with surprise, wondering how he who had been too tired to even eat was now ready to cook. The good news that his fiancée was around had given him strength that even he did not know he had. You will hear good news every morning, in Jesus’ name.

The word of God is good news, it gives joy. Study it every morning; you will experience joy and receive strength. Jeremiah 15:16 says,

“Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts.”

Before you read the newspapers or blogs where you will most likely hear bad news, read the word of God to get the good news you need to strengthen you for the day.

God’s word energises you for your daily activities.

TIME AND OPPORTUNITIES

MEMORISE:
So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom. PSALM 90:12

5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.

MESSAGE:
Time is quite a difficult concept to define. One very simple way to describe it is that it is a river that constantly flows. It keeps flowing in a certain direction and carries everyone along with it.

No matter what you are doing, time keeps flowing on. Therefore, when you don’t do what you are supposed to at the right time, not only would you have wasted a part of your time on earth, but a part of your life also.

This is why you cannot afford to be lazy.

One of the things you must understand about the river called time is that as it is carrying you on, it is constantly throwing opportunities at you. It carries you through these opportunities from the day you were born until the day you die.

As you flow, you go from one place to another and come across one person or another. Each person or place comes as an opportunity. If you don't grab it when you are there, you may miss it forever as the river doesn't flow backwards.

When you understand this about time, you will realise that what decides if you will be successful is your ability to identify and make use of opportunities. Ecclesiastes 9:11.

The river called time has boundaries on both sides and you are usually in the middle.

Occasionally, when God really loves you, He brings you in contact with the right person and tells you to follow him or her. If you are wise enough to obey Him without questions, then you will arrive at your God-ordained destiny.

This is what happened to me when I met my Father-in-the-Lord – Pa Akindayomi. I had a Ph.D. in Mathematics which was a big deal back then. My Father-in-the-Lord could not even read or write. He could only read the Bible because of a God-given ability, yet God said I should submit to and follow him.

Eventually, when he was going to be with the Lord, he wrote in his will that I should take over the leadership of the Church. My salary at the time was more than the income of the entire Church, but I obeyed. That is how the river of time brought me to where I am now.

If you want to fulfil your destiny, rely on God to show you the opportunities hidden in the people you meet and places you go, so that you will arrive at your expected end.

PRAYER POINT:
Father, please don’t let me ever miss my opportunities in life, in Jesus’ name.

JUST START

MEMORISE:
Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage, be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: For the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest. JOSHUA 1:9

15 I am the LORD, your Holy One, the creator of Israel, your King.
16 Thus saith the LORD, which maketh a way in the sea, and a path in the mighty waters;
17 Which bringeth forth the chariot and horse, the army and the power; they shall lie down together, they shall not rise: they are extinct, they are quenched as tow.
18 Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.
19 Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.

MESSAGE:
I grew up in a very poor home. My father was extremely poor, yet he had two wives and many children. He also had a small farm that could not support the family if he died.

So, I decided that I wasn’t going to die in that state of poverty and I knew that the only way out was to study hard in school.

I studied hard and gained admission to Ilesha Grammar School but when the results came, my mother called me into the room and said, “You this boy, what are you trying to do? You know we have no money, and you say you want to go to Grammar School.” Then she begged me, “Please my boy, Christmas is coming, I will buy you good clothes. Forget about this Grammar School.” I told her, “I don’t want Christmas clothes. I want to go to school.”

This was in 1955. To show her how serious I was, I refused to eat for two days and was prepared to continue my hunger strike on the third day when she and my father somehow got some money and deposited it to the school.

One way or the other, I finished secondary school and gained admission into the university and today I am where I am.

Success does not come to people who consider their limitations before they move.

"The slothful man saith, There is a lion in the way; a lion is in the streets."
Psalm 26:13

No matter the odds against you, if you can ignore those odds and just set out, there is success waiting for you out there.

See those things that you call limitations as tests challenging your abilities.

A champion is rated by the opponent he faces, the bigger the opponent, the greater the title. The stronger the opposition you face; the greater your level of success.

Most people know the heavyweight champion of the world, but if you are to ask around only a few know the lightweight champion.

The reason my success story is interesting to many is the low level I came from. Get up and face those limitations; the reward will be worthwhile.

"Be ye strong therefore, and let not your hands be weak: for your work shall be rewarded." 2 Chronicles 15:7

KEY POINT:
There is no limitation you cannot surmount if you have Christ in you. Philippians 4:13

BE SPIRITUALLY MINDED

MEMORISE:

1 In the six and thirtieth year of the reign of Asa Baasha king of Israel came up against Judah, and built Ramah, to the intent that he might let none go out or come in to Asa king of Judah.
2 Then Asa brought out silver and gold out of the treasures of the house of the LORD and of the king's house, and sent to Benhadad king of Syria, that dwelt at Damascus, saying,
3 There is a league between me and thee, as there was between my father and thy father: behold, I have sent thee silver and gold; go, break thy league with Baasha king of Israel, that he may depart from me.
4 And Benhadad hearkened unto king Asa, and sent the captains of his armies against the cities of Israel; and they smote Ijon, and Dan, and Abelmaim, and all the store cities of Naphtali.
5 And it came to pass, when Baasha heard it, that he left off building of Ramah, and let his work cease.
6 Then Asa the king took all Judah; and they carried away the stones of Ramah, and the timber thereof, wherewith Baasha was building; and he built therewith Geba and Mizpah.
7 And at that time Hanani the seer came to Asa king of Judah, and said unto him, Because thou hast relied on the king of Syria, and not relied on the LORD thy God, therefore is the host of the king of Syria escaped out of thine hand.

9 For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein thou hast done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars.
10 Then Asa was wroth with the seer, and put him in a prison house; for he was in a rage with him because of this thing. And Asa oppressed some of the people the same time.
11 And, behold, the acts of Asa, first and last, lo, they are written in the book of the kings of Judah and Israel.
12 And Asa in the thirty and ninth year of his reign was diseased in his feet, until his disease was exceeding great: yet in his disease he sought not to the LORD, but to the physicians.
13 And Asa slept with his fathers, and died in the one and fortieth year of his reign.
14 And they buried him in his own sepulchres, which he had made for himself in the city of David, and laid him in the bed which was filled with sweet odours and divers kinds of spices prepared by the apothecaries' art: and they made a very great burning for him.

MESSAGE:
Some people find it difficult to trust God. They would rather put their trust in things that they can see than in the Lord that they cannot see. Many times, it is because we feel we are intelligent and our intelligence has helped us in the past so we want to be able to use it for everything.

I once went to minister the Holy Ghost baptism to a group of people; the uneducated ones were baptised almost as soon as the ministration started, but the educated ones were looking around, trying to understand how the baptism would come. These were doubting Thomases.

Thomas was a man who would not believe until he saw with his eyes. John 20:29 says,

“Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.”

Apostle Paul also said: While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. 2 Corinthians 4:18

Where you look to when you are in need of help is where your faith lies.

For example, David said he would look up to the hills from whence came his help – the Lord Psalm 121:1-2.

If you look to man, then your faith lies in man. If you look to your money, then that is where your faith lies.

God can use either to meet your need, but you are to look to God and God alone. God is displeased when you have faith in anything or anyone else but Him. Hebrews 11:6 says
without faith it is impossible to please God.

Until you take your eyes off the physical and set them on Him in the Spirit, some things will remain out of your reach.

In our Bible reading for today, Asa found it difficult to look to God for his healing even when physicians had failed him. This is a stronghold of the devil that must be broken.

If you study your Bible diligently, pray without ceasing, and fellowship regularly with other believers, you would soon begin to see how the spiritual controls the physical.

Spend more time with God than you do with man and that stronghold of dependence on physical things will be broken.

ACTION POINT:
Put your trust in God. He is the only one that can help you.

DON’T BE AFRAID

MEMORISE:
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. 1 JOHN 4:18

12 Thou shalt seek them, and shalt not find them, even them that contended with thee: they that war against thee shall be as nothing, and as a thing of nought.
13 For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.
14 Fear not, thou worm Jacob, and ye men of Israel; I will help thee, saith the LORD, and thy redeemer, the Holy One of Israel.
15 Behold, I will make thee a new sharp threshing instrument having teeth: thou shalt thresh the mountains, and beat them small, and shalt make the hills as chaff.
16 Thou shalt fan them, and the wind shall carry them away, and the whirlwind shall scatter them: and thou shalt rejoice in the LORD, and shalt glory in the Holy One of Israel.
17 When the poor and needy seek water, and there is none, and their tongue faileth for thirst, I the LORD will hear them, I the God of Israel will not forsake them.
18 I will open rivers in high places, and fountains in the midst of the valleys: I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water.
19 I will plant in the wilderness the cedar, the shittah tree, and the myrtle, and the oil tree; I will set in the desert the fir tree, and the pine, and the box tree together:
20 That they may see, and know, and consider, and understand together, that the hand of the LORD hath done this, and the Holy One of Israel hath created it.

MESSAGE:
Our memory verse for today says that fear is a tormentor. According to 2 Timothy 1:7, fear is a spirit and since it is not a gift from God, then it is from the devil.

In Proverbs 29:25, God says the fear of man brings a snare. In other words, if you are afraid of a man, you will fall into a trap.

The reason many people run to witch doctors is fear, which is why they keep looking for protection against all kinds of enemies.

One of the things that makes fear so terrible is that almost invariably, that which you are afraid of will come to you Job 3:25.

The fear of death has put many people in bondage today. The question now is: is everyone not going to die anyway?

Hebrews 9:27 says death is an appointment that everyone must keep.

The devil keeps people in bondage because of something that they should be prepared for rather than afraid of.

When you have God with you, fear will get away from you. David said that the reason he had no fear even in the valley of the shadow of death is because he had the presence of God with him Psalm 23:4.

Romans 8:15 says you do not have the spirit of bondage to fear, rather, that of adoption, giving you the right to call God your Daddy.

The true realisation that you are a child of God and that God is with you always will chase fear out of your life. No child is afraid of a bully when his daddy is standing beside him. As long as you are a child of God who lives holy, you can be sure that God is with you always.

Our Bible reading for today says you should not be afraid for God is with you, it says He will hold your hand and strengthen you. If you have God on your side, you have nothing to fear.

Draw close to God and He will draw close to you James 4:8. This means that if you surrender your life to Jesus and begin to live a holy life, God will come close to you and fear will disappear from your life.

Sin will create a gap between you and God as He won’t even hear the prayers of unrepentant sinners John 9:31 not to talk of saving them from danger.

The only thing I fear is for God to leave me because if He does, I know that I am finished. That is why I live holy; I cannot afford to be away from His presence.
