Hey guys, I have a friend who is trying to book Ethiopian Airline but his payment keeps failing, I told him it was because of his name didn't tally with the one on the credit card in which he wants to pay with...is it true? |

SoftdudeKay: Please, did they send you an email to notify you about the update in your application (your approval) or you just went straight to check your application status. I’m asking because I’m more focused on their email.
Thanks. |

EagleEye4040: This is a fraudulent agent account I have been watching Broo Na everybody account you dey watch, why not watch your own account.... You go put "I catch scammers" for signature, go join EFCC or FBI, that's your main call. You can imagine how "smart" you are, you haven't called me out before, it was after I quoted your post...very "smart" indeed. And for the record, I didn't defend anyone... I just said you should rest. |

EagleEye4040: You are right. That was before He has gone rogue. He now posts fake PPRs to lure people to his DM for Visa Application He was a newbie before and later gained knowledge of visa application from here. And started selling the same knowledge he got here to the innocent. He is forming agent now I don't have problem with that. But I will not allow him and his 100s of accounts to post fake PPRs here anymore This guy doesn't rest sha. |

I'm not defending anyone but I feel them not visiting the thread regularly is not their fault... Canada is not easy, people are hustling really hard.. imagine combining school and work together and they might also have families they are taking care of... It would not be easy for them to come here regularly. Let's just respect each other. Everyone opinion is important but at the same time let's coexist together that's when we would see results. |

Express2021: Everyone may not be as smart as you, some vulnerable ones will get duped, that's why we have to educate everyone to be at alert just as you are. I know the point you're trying to make but this is not the right way to go about it. You can't tell me that even after this supposed scammers have been exposed people wouldn't still get scammed. Let's try to respect the history of the thread... personally reading the whole saga made me have a different feeling about the thread... Months ago people were genuinely helping each other. But with these sort of approach people would not feel the need to share their testimonies and experiences. |

Debbieeeeeee: I’m not out to support anyone here but when you get abroad consultations aren’t free either in person or online. That's not the point, if I knew the person was going to ask for money I wouldn't have messaged. I felt the person was in the position to answer that was why I asked. The person didn't even put it on the thread that he/she was an agent, I would not have messaged the person. |

Fake PPR or not I'll still be happy when I see one. This discussions are unnecessary, I feel people are meant to be responsible for their actions. If they dupe you it's your problem. I have only messaged someone once for consultation not even applying, the person started charging me... Immediately I stopped chatting with the person. It's that simple, if you know what you're doing no one can dupe you... SIMPLE!!! |

Dexmo: If my dad is providing the gift deed to me as his son, will he also need to submit his statement of account for the last six month ? Gift Deed does not affect the statement of account....it's just to show that he gave you the money....even with the gift deed you still need to briefly explain why he gave you the money. |

Kolajero: Please, what is gift of deed?
When or why does one need to get one? A Gift Deed is a document used to give a sum of money or to transfer ownership of property from one person or organization to another. You would need it when someone sends you a Lumpsum regarding your studies. |

KimberleyNl: Please someone should help me. Nobody is answering me. Please give me suggestions on the GCMS note This simply means you have explained your purpose for studying in Canada well. Then they noticed you used a third party sponsor... I don't think they complained about the funds, their main concern is aside the money where would other funds be coming in from, so what I think you should do is if the person is a business man you should attach his CAC documents and possibly receipts issued to his clients by him or if he is a salary earner he should attach letter of employment, payslips etc. Then they noticed that your bank statement wasn't sufficient enough, with their statement it shows you're not a dependent and they want to you to show that without your sponsor you can be financially stable, so you should also attach your letter of employment or payslip if you have any and I think you are good to go.....And also they didn't state that they did not believe your sponsor would provide your funding which means you prooved your relationship well. |

SaniceSanice123: Okay thank you. My father sent it to my account directly. So if I go to lawyer, he will help me provide the gift of deed?
Also, do I need to write letter of financial explanation of 51m account. I’ve been working for 3 years now.
Thank You Yes,he should...Depends on the lawyer tho. Just briefly explain why your dad decided to send the 5m to your account despite you having a good bank statement. The only time you can write a financial letter is if aside the 5m your dad sent there are still other unexplained lumpsum in your account. *Note: Lumpsum is the unusual money entering your bank statement aside from the regular ones that has been entering.e.g if your monthly salary is 1m and 10m enters the account in that same month questions would be asked about the source of the fund. |

Hello everyone, I am here again.
Please I need your help. On IMM 1294 form, where it says cost of my studies,
1, do I need to sum up 1 year or 2 years for tuition and upkeep? 2, for the available funds, do I need to add up all I have paid in terms of tuition and available funds for my one year up keep and the available funds from my sponsors account all together? 3, let’s say my sponsor has 20M in his account after one year tuition has been paid, upkeep for one year has been set aside, does my sponsor need to quote his total balance of 20M or just put in the IMM form that amount that would be sufficient to take care of my tuition and upkeep for 2 years?
I hope I am making sense.
I need to submit today. This is my second application. Pls help me out. Thank you. 1. Sum up your tuition for 1 yr, 10k living expenses for a year, and also miscellaneous which is "other" (miscellaneous amount may defer from one person to another). 2. For your available funds I believe you should add the amount you've paid for your tuition and also the amount that would be available for you. 3. Just add up the amount you paid for your tuition and your sponsors available balance, that makes up your available balance. |

Sam796476: Good evening guys
I really need your opinion on this. I was refused last month, I ordered my GCMS notes and it was said that my funds was insufficient and rightly so, it was.
Now my sponsor(father) sold a property and he's gonna receive a lump sum of 12 million Naira in his account. He has about 8.5 million Naira now plus the lumpsum it's going to be 20.5 million naira.
I have all the documents to show evidence of the sale, I'd also be adding pictures of the property that was sold. My sponsor is going to write a letter of explanation addressing this lumpsum, how the money came about and the details involving the sale of the property. He also has a regular source of income, he earns 560,000 in a month. And he's also allowed to collect 25 percent of his pension funds which would be close to 3m
Tuition Fee is 17,000 Cad a year. First semester tuition has already been paid. Sponsor (Father)is also going to write in the letter of sponsorship that once my study permit has been granted, he'd make the payment of my tuition balance. He doesn't want to pay the tuition balance until the study permit has been granted.
I'd like to know if I can proceed with submitting my application. Your responses would be appreciated. Thank you all. Anyone please? |

yyeskez: This might not play so well in your favor in the end: "Owning property indicates strong home ties, selling it indicates japa tendencies." This is the case even when you're trying to use the sale of the land as part of your P.O.F. So I was told sha , I no be consultant... There are other properties and also sponsor has a regular source of income through monthly salary. I'd be submitting other account too not just where the funds from the land was paid in. |

Osemigho: Why you sold it? How much you received? Where and when proceeds were deposited. Attach evidence of the sale.
I wouldn't have a separate letter of explanation for that, but will include it in the main LOE or Sponsor letter as an explanation of sources of funds in the bank account. Thanks. For the sale of the land I want to attach sale receipt and deed of assignment would that suffice |
