This is my little track record..

So i managed a 200k challenge account on Funded next for 1 year and 6 months before i lost it, moving it from phase 1 to phase and was 3% up on phase 2.


I managed a 25k Funded next account using 8 months to complete the phase 2 and got funded.
I managed the funded account for 6 months making consistent profit and withdrawals every two week within the period before i eventually lost it in November last year....


I also managed my personal 350$ person account from January this year making consistent profit every till the end of march when i eventually liquidated the account because of bills and other emergencies...


Also i managed a 1000k personal for someone from January till March, made over 1000$ Profit within the period, the deal was cut off because i lost 500$ when i had a tough trading period within the last week of march, but before then i was making constant profit on the account...


I believe I've the experience and knowledge to manage this your account if given the opportunity to do so

Also from April to march i was trading a 25k challenge account, i made profit consistently every week till this week when i had a a rough patch, the account went up to 6%

We are not talking or looking for ordinary trial/demo account from Brokers, but a trial account that comes with drawdown parameters, kinda.

If you are familiar with fxblue and what they do b4 they catapulted, then broker's demo/trial account would sufficed.

Since we can not, presently, employ fxblue service, we now look toward Prop firm's trial account that allows trading for a period of one month. The Prop firm's account comes with drawdown parameters that'll help scrutinize each of us, automatically, in the competition.

I am testing few things out. We are close to getting what might work. Although, there'll be few complaints, but we'll manage 😁

Simple strategy but hard to follow, once you can fully trust your strategy as a tool for trading, you are HIM. But you have to accept you cannot have it all and control greed( life is harsh if you are not careful)

Na why I hum o. When we reach 200 pages, we get a competition. 10k reward ftmo prop acct for 3 people. 10k funded next for 2 people by God grace. It might be more depending on the spirit and how every dey go by then. But that will be minimum reward. Only active member will participate.

One must not affect the other. We will continue to run both but FTA must not collapse as long as Nairaland still dey.

@samfelly, I support nzechu suggestions about the upcoming competitions, using fundednext monthly competition is the best way forward where we can get access to performance tracking without mago mago or wuru wuru shenanigans, although I don't think we need to follow their lot size rules, I'd rather prefer infofirst style just like we did during the sit up challenge where a maximum lot size cap of 0.1 lot was placed for the 10k, so we can empoy that for the 100k account with 1lot and max of 2 open position, remember that daddy infofirst always preaches strict risk money management and a slow and steady approach... Thank you sir...

Actually, it says the competitors cannot open more than 5 positions of each asset at any time. This means a person can open 5 lots of EURUSD, 5 lots of NZDUSD, 5 lots of CADJPY, 5 lots of USDCAD, 3 lots of XAUUSD, 3 lots of XAGUSD. As long as the trades don't breach the daily or total drawdown those trades are within the rules. This will not work with the kind of money management rules that will give equal opportunity to every competitor.

Besides, many may miss the opportunity to register for a fundednext competition, and we know that on many occasions Infofirst allows late entry on very good reason which FN's competition does not allow.

These two reasons are the only things that make the FN competition entry unfit for the kind of flexibility and MM rules for which nairaland competition is known.

FundedNext, already has lotsize rule for their 100k competition, we can adopt it. There is no need to tailor it down to a 10k type of competition.

You can't HV more than 5 positions opened at same time.
You can't trade more than 3 lots on gold/induces and more than 5 lots on currencies.

We can adopt these rules.
With Thier dashboard you can read all the competitors trades. They only HV to register before the monthly competition
