gud morning sir...as you know, admission into any department via PUDE or PUTME is regulated by school senate based on d general performances of people who sat for the exam and I don't think dat individual departments have any say in who d schools awards admission to(d senate decides) so the fact that d above mentioned scores didn't fetch any of ur friends admission into mls means that dia are oda people who scored above does scores....and I also fink d prefer to take those with degree rather dan those with diploma(for instance let assume that two people scored 61 but one have a diploma result and d oda a degree result,d will definitely take d person wit degree result) anoda fin u ought to consider is wada if those that have d above mentioned scores are either in uniben's catchment area or among d education least developed states..have a love friday sir

Tanx 4 d clarification. Some are 4rm catchment area, the one with 53% is 4rm Akwa Ibom, the one with 55% is from Edo, except the one with 58% is from Anambra which is not 4rm d catchment. But rejectin them becoz they are Diploma holders, e get as e be o! Have a pleasant wkend!

@ boss originbm., I dey ur side joor excellent job u've done. I myself will devote d next 6 academic section to come out as d best for dis noble course I chosed to praticed. So help me God! Med. Lab. Sc. also has been an important profession in our national health sector becoz d origin of any problem regards to living being on earth can be identify by our men & women in dis field of profession. No matter how d professional conspiracy by d so-called pples dat presume themselves as Oga-at-the-TOP in our Govt. hospitals with their motives to hinder d progress of all other health professions will not work.

Pls, what is ur view about dis Tom & Jerry relationship with our opthalmologist colleagues dat is continously rampart in our health institution when dis pple are alreading parading themselves as primary contact when it comes to vision system to d patient which is illegal according to d ethics of dis field, despite d fact dat OD's refers complicated cases dat involve surgery to them. My question was borne out 4rm one eye doctor dat was granted an interview on tv dat anything concerning eye should be consulted by medical doc which she obviously known dat she wasn't in a position as primary contact & I later confirm dat she was an ophthamologist. @ boss chidarlus, Abeg, Is MLS in uniben no longer give pple with scores like 53%, 55%, 58%, 59%, 61% etc. on PUDE & also obtaining ND qualification @ upper credit level from a reputable fed. Poly admission for direct entry candidates? Becoz me no understand how these aforementioned scores were deny admission. Eventhough am yet to see anybody been consider admission ooo! Pls what is d criteria for admission as a direct entry applicant, or are they no longer accepting diploma again?

Go to zonal waec office (i.e. State capital) of d state where u sat for the gce exam. Then apply for the confirmation of the result (IT'S CONFIDENTIAL STATEMENT THAT WILL BE ADDRESS TO UNIBEN REGISTRA) with an affidavit & attestation of any legal officer attesting dat u are the candidate dat sat for the exam. It will cost u dsame amount (#2000) of obtaining certificate apart 4rm money of swearing affidavit in law court. When u get to d zonal office of waec, u will be inform properly how u will go about it. Or u can use d internet print out since d result has not exceed 2 years.

Pls any admitted Medical Lab. Science in the house should notified.

UNIBEN is one skul dat adhere to the FMOE/NUC admission guidelines of MERIT, CATCHMENT and ELDS. Ur admission is not dependent on ur high score or grades alone. If u scored high wit a good result, ur chances are high but not a guarantee, like I said, oda tins do play. All u guys shud be doing is to pray to whoever u serve for d rules to favour you. As for The MBBS peeps, urs is complicated cos the admission quota is always less, so u guys gat to pray hard.. God can make them review policies for ur sake.. If u score below 72 and u re not from catchment or ELDS , hmmmm! Only God can say but I will tel u sincerely to Zero ur mind but things can change if God wants them to. I greet the house

Is like dis admission stuff has been in existence for long-long time ago, I know 54% gotten dentistry & mech-engine with 51% in pume, but don't u think dat some pple who are not from dis privilege state might want to outsmart dis procedure by deliberating choose this-socalled ELD & catchment state when registering for application form in future in d aim to overcome admission frustration??.

Congrats to everyone. I love all ya comments. Very matured minds.
After another six years of seeking for MBBS, I was admitted to biochem. I wanted to go for DE, but I was told MBBS accepts only BSc for their DE. Being a diploma holder, I went through Jamb and pume. But my aggregate of 64% still couldn't earn me my dream course. Should I go for biochem after several years of trying? This is the big question I am unable to answer. Not accepting the admission might be the end of my educational pursuit.
Sorry for bothering you guys with my own piece of trouble.

pls. Take it, u're not to old to relaunch ur goal. U can 4rm there obtain anoda jamb form while in schl doing ur bch dan staying @ home hoping 4 best which can never be guaranteed

By the special grace of God we came, we saw & we conquered. I cannot 4get some brain aspirants dat shared their wealth of experiencest that gave us admission.
