GidiCars: Leave the mumu, let's see how they'll get FX to import, maybe they'll annex the core South.
When we send them back home like Ghana and South Africa, they'll start crying marginalisation, this and that. If they're as rich as they make up, they'd do business amongst themselves. But it's because YORÙBÁs have better purchasing power than the nyamiris, that's why they come to sell to us.
I earnestly hope they get their Biafra. Na then their eyes go open say dem no be anything. Even Zik their papa wanted to contest in western region then. He knew there's nothing in the East. No mind him. The truth is. Igbo guys don't like anything that doesn't generate cash easily I school in UNN I know wetin I dey talk. How many of them do,you see in Agricultural sector? They knew agricultural sector doesn't generate money easily you'll have to wait longer. E.g Cocoa, cashew grow in a space of 2 - 3yrs. Nah Igbo man go wait for that? Lol, instead he will use the money to est. Business and be running it to generate day to day cash. Its all win win tho. At least dem better pass those Mugu In the North. And they're productive with human resources. Their tax are also being used wella by the respective state they found themselves. But hausa and Fulanis? |

descarado: There is no economy in this world that can be sustained through agriculture especially the type we practice in Nigeria. Ghana is one of Africa's largest exporter of cocoa. Recently, the president has to tell himself the truth. We have cocoa, u want to benefit from it, come and invest here in Ghana.
Yam, rice, cassava etc are yet to be made into secondary or tertiary products. E.g. cashew nut, there is cashew milk, cashew flour, cashew based biscuits and so on but in Nigeria, it's only to fry and eat cashew nut we know. Even the raw cashew nut are used in many cuisines all over the world.
We are too backward. We hate evolution. We love good things but lack the IQ to transform what we are blessed with into many uses. And how can we export agric products when we don't evolve?
Agriculture has gone tech, we are still practising what our ancestors did.
And yeah, agric shouldn't be in govt hand. Private business ru agric all over the world. Very Apt. |

helinues: Economy can't just improved like that most especially when the corrupt money being pump into the system stopped..
We are now living a reality live in Nigeria even though there are still some corruption in this government, but at least it's fair and better than under Pdp.
Of course the difference in oil price really tell but at least there are few things to show for the revenue this current FG is making compared to when Pdp government was earning $100/per barrel with nothing to show for it.
The electorates that have not seen train before but now have privilege of riding one would decide the fate of the next presidential candidates With which money will they use to ride train? If they're the one that would decide the fate of the next presidential candidates. Would they ride it on an empty stomach? What about Market women and civil servants? Nigeria doesn't have money that's the truth. We pay tax but don't see the effects of tax. |

Princedapace: Actually, the biggest problem of Nigeria is northen Nigeria. U see those people, they can't compete in a merit based economy. It is why u rarely see them in private sector such as tech industry. They only do very well in sectors that have govt influence.
If oil is taken away, South West will do very well, followed by South East. The entire southern Nigeria has massive human resources that are productive more. That is not really the case with North because they have denied their people exposure and education.
How many times do u see northerner kid win mathematics competitions? How often do u see them win private scholarships? How often do u see their names abroad winning awards or breaking academic and productive records? They aren't mentally competitive due to their religion and lack of exposure and education. Sadly, they are the ones running the country. Since the Civil War, northerners have occupied most of the vital agencies that determine the economy of this country.
I always say it that the war the igbos lost was a war lost by all southerners. Check out top 10 startups in Nigeria, u will never see anyone started by Northern youths. They are dominated by southern youths. Without oil, southern Nigeria will survive very well. Our human resources is veru competitive. Nothing but 100% TRUTH |

helinues: Bro, it's simply because Nigerians are used to corrupt money...
Most of those companies that packed up are being funded with corrupt money.
During GEJ's regime, if you go to Abuja airport, you will think you are already in Dubai cos there are fine fine girls marketing real estate in Dubai to Nigerians.. Buying and Renting... All those stopped when Buhari gained power..
There are more loopholes that corrupt politicians used to get money that have been blocked.. If they've been blocked 1. The economic should have increased by now 2. Cost of things shouldn't have rise up 3. If we argue that its because of oil, why can't they diversify is what I don't know? You want to diversify into agriculture yet there is no security in the country. How will I go to farm when my security is not guaranteed? By 2023, even if people overlook Securities, what about cost of goods and foods? Put yourself in the voters position and remove party view. You just bought rice 950 in the morning and its election time. Even if you wanna vote APC your mind will tell you otherwise. Niger delta will choose 1 option Cos Nigeria cannot be divided along states line that's the pure truth. 1. Either Nigeria divides as Northern Region, Old Easterner region, Western Region, Mid west region 2. Either Nigeria divides as Northern Region, Western (SW) Region, Eastern (SE) region, South South Region (SS) Because I think Igbo land stretches to Opobo. If it stretches to Opobo and Igbo nation is created, Niger Delta country is created it means SE Will cut the so called Niger delta region into Two. Well, I'm of the opinion that its the minorities in Nigeria that doesn't want this country to split because they know its another Mini Nigeria for them And plz i only want Oduduwa country of 6 SW states, 12LGS in Kwara, Southern Kogi, Itshekiris in Delta, part of akoko edo. Would have love Olukumi to join but their distance is a bit lengthly. Our prayers are with them, they should continue to retain our language and promote our culture. Yoruba language is spoken in 11 states of Nigeria. Osun Ekiti Kwara Ondo Oyo Lagos Ogun Edo Delta Kogi Niger |

Princedapace: Lies bro.
There is something about human resources. Those two regions will do well. They have the human resources to do so. That is why even in other countries, they win awards in many fields.
The current system makes states lazy. Why should I work when I can get free money? No one will actually. Take the oil away and let all regions tap into their natural blessings. There are so many ways to make money as a country without oil. Don't mind that guy, For example my state Ondo. I'm sure Ondo state can generate a lot of revenue from Cocoa and Bitumen Only. But ask what Sokoto, Kebbi, Niger is bringing to the table. Absolutely Nothing. |
