Thanks for your contribution, is there anything wrong with going for vacation at this time of the year? This is the time that we have the leave to take the vacation and that's exactly what we told the Consular during our interview.
Does it mean people cannot take vacation around this time of the year?

I will be travelling with my family to New Jersey for vacation next week via JFK, New York and we can only get seats on Emirates. My wife and my kids are first time travellers and I am trying to make this trip as comfortable as possible for them.
Please help me with the following concerns;
How is it flying with Emirate? I read sometime on this forum that we will be interviewed in Dubai before getting to New York. is this true? If you have flown Emirates to New York, please contribute.
I can't get to pay for our hotel reservation here and someone suggested I should pay on arrival, is this adviseable? Or should I call the hotel and see if I can pay with my Nigerian debit card?
What is the best way to connect to Newark New Jersey from JFK? Whatever means of transportation it is, I will like to have it booked before leaving Nigeria

Alright thank you, I don't have any other plan except the airport pick-up. Can you suggest something? Whatever it is going to be I want to have it booked and confirmed before leaving Nigeria so I can show them at JFK in case they ask.

My family is going for a vacation in New Jersey before the end of this month but we can't get a flight to NJ within our budget. Someone suggested we fly into New York and then to New Jersey since they are very close.
My question is, aren't we going to have issues at the POE since we filled New Jersey as our destination?

There isn't much difference between landing in NY and NJ. The prices are a little over my budget. Can you get us something cheaper?
My budget is about 1.8m for all of us. I don't mind more than 1 stop over.

However, you may want to consider landing in JFK instead, since New York and New Jersey are just few kilometers(2hrs 12mins drive) to each other, and within close proximity.

Nice job you are doing here, can you please help me with cheapest flight ticket from MMA, Lagos to Newark Liberty International Airport for a family of four(4). Two(2) adults and two(2) children. One is 6 years and the other is 3 years.
Departure date is January 18th and return date is January 31st.
