Our tax collection rate in Nigeria is one of the poorest even in Africa. The understanding of tax by Nigerians terrible. Many of you need to get it into your heads that tax payment is vital for any society to thrive.

Even without social media those days, ask around about Maths Department and Chemistry Departments in Unical. They produced the brightest students cos you must burn your candle. I wish I can like this one million times. I am a teacher in a private secondary school in Lagos and I can tell you for free that the last thing on children's mind these days is studying. I mean even while teaching, they are playing because they know that nothing is at stake. They will be promoted to the next class irrespective of their grade. And then parents and management will always blame the teachers for teaching methods, while avoiding the fact that they have literally obliterated academic standards because they want patronage for their school.
