Have I lost my 20k?
Sometime ago,i made an erroneous transfer from my
diamondbank app to an unknown account in UBA which happens to share the same account number with my first bank account (the intended recipient). Ever since then I have been contacting the two banks to help me resolve the issue and help me get back my money.
The problem was that, the recipient UBA account was confirmed dormant by the bank and the phone number attached to the account has been assigned to another customer by network provider, so making it impossible to reach to him to approve a refund. All these are pointing out to the fact that either the UBA account owner is dead or has been off the shores of this country for long ( maybe, my money is in a dead man's account).
Then, U.B.A. proffered an alternative solution, demanding that my bank "diamond bank" should issue them with an indemnity letter to enable them refund me while diamond bank is requesting I get a court order to help them get my money back (for how much? 20k?, how much is the possible cost of obtaining a court order?).

Where can one report this matter to avoid spending more than I would get?
Am really angry with diamomd bank!!!!

What will now happen to people's deposit with the bank. CBN better give us the full gist
