Any visa alert last week & this week?

I've done my Biometrics 8days ago (27th March) and I got a mail that very day that my application will now be sent to UK Visas & Immigration (UKVI) for consideration. I haven't heard anything since that day again.

I've done my Biometrics 8days ago (27th March) and I got a mail that very day that my application will now be sent to UK Visas & Immigration (UKVI) for consideration. I haven't heard anything since that day again.

Good evening house, I applied for Mechanical Engineering at the University of Portsmouth for September 2024. I later deferred the admission to January 2025 which I made 6k deposit in the early August, 2024. Now after completed my CAS Shield yesterday, expecting to receive CAS but this is what I got instead. I don't know how they arrived at this decision. Meanwhile, money is not the problem. Pls what do you think I can do? Thanks in advance!

St. Nicholas is nice. I did mine there. You will just have to come back for the test result the next day after the test

Good evening house, Please I want to know if I can do my TB test at either St. Nicolas Hospital or Q-life Family Clinic (both in Lagos) for UK Student Visa. I'm looking at these because they're cheaper and can also pay in naira compare to I.O.M Centres (Lagos) which is 95 USD. I'm about making payment and secure a date for the test. Thanks in advance

Profile : Frequent traveler to the UK. Was in the UK earlier this year and Have a valid UK visit visa. Dunno if that was why mine took so long to come out or cos my marital profile changed.

After I printed my statement, used part of the money to pay my IHS cos men and brethren it was red for this child of God. I needed that money .

You will need to show 9 month living cost + the balance of your tuition for 1year.
If you are studying outside London, you will need 1,023 per month multiply by 9 month = 9,207

The total amount you will need to show as POF is 9,207 + 10,700 = £19,907.

Remember to use a rate that’s high when converting to naira. For example, pounds to naira as at today is 2,098. If you are starting POF today, it will be better to use Atleast 2,400 when converting to naira to avoid story that touch.

Yeah, I got your view and I appreciate it. It'd be somehow difficult taking them with me right now if I have to be realistic because I will also be staying with my elder brother overthere who's also married with 3 kids. In other words accommodation is sorted and feeding is almost certained as well.

Taking family (Wife + 2 kids) on MRes with me will result in me paying rents n feeding the whole family and I still got tuition & some other things to pay for.

I could have opted for Canada to UK, but when I considered feeding, accommodation and others, UK is the viable option!
