NIGERIAN RUGBY PLAYERS ACCUSE COACH NTIENSE WILLIAMS OF HOMOSEXUAL ACTIVITIES

By Olu George

In Nigeria, Homosexual is not only considered as a crime against God and humanity, but also a sacrilege against the laws of the land. Simply put, both male and female same-sex sexual activity is illegal in Nigeria.

The maximum punishment for same-sex sexual activity is 14 years' imprisonment. The Same-Sex Marriage Prohibition Act 2014 criminalizes all forms of same-sex unions and same-sex marriage throughout the country.

But pathetically and most unfortunately, despite the law prohibiting same-sex activities in Nigeria, the act still booms in the country, not only among the lower class but also in higher places.

The ordeal of Rugby Players in the hands of their coaches is just one example of how homosexual activities boom in higher level in Nigeria. The Head Coach of Edo State Rugby Association and former Technical Director of the Nigerian Rugby Football Federation, Mr. Ntiense Williams is being accused by a group of Concerned Rugby Players of aiding and abetting homosexual activities in the Rugby Football Industry.

The Players who does not want their name mentioned for security reason(s), in a Save Our Career and Soul Petition seen online, alleged that Coach Ntiense Williams did not only aid the bi-sexual activities one of their coaches, John Sylvanus, he also advised them to cooperate with him (John) so that they can have a meaningful career.

Narrating how Coach John Sylvanus was prevented from sleeping with a 14-year old boy in the Federation House situated in Surulere, Lagos, the players said the general public should come to their aide before their career is truncated.

The full text of the petition against Mr. Ntiense Williams and Coach John Sylvanus, as sighted on online the Concerned Rugby Players is hereby reproduced below;

PETITION AGAINST BY-SEXUAL HARRASSMENT IN NIGEERIAN RUGBY FOOTBALL FEDERATION AND HARRASEMENT OF INNOCENT YOUNG NIGERIANS

Nigeria Rugby Football Federation (NRFF) is a sport parastatal under Federal Ministry of Sports with its Secretariat in Lagos State, Nigeria.

We are a group of Rugby Players in under the Nigerian Rugby Football Federation. This petition is against one Mr John Sylvanus who is a Rugby coach of Nigeria Rugby football Federation under schools and Mr. Wiiliams Ntiense, the Head Coach of Edo State Rugby Association and former Technical Director of the Nigerian Rugby Football Federation.

We assert that Mr. John has been making life terrible for us because we refused to allow his advances to sleep with us and Mr. Wiiliams has been covering him up. We are men thus cannot sleep with a fellow man. Many of us got demoted for not accepting his ungodly offer of same-sex relationship.

We also want to say very explicit that Mr. John has many victims. For instance, on 31st of November 2018, John Sylvanus visited Rugby House at 10pm prompt. He demanded he should allow him into the building (office area) to do some work. The security refused and asked him to call a senior office whom we do not want to mention his name before he could allow him access into the premises. John called at that same 10pm and made same request that he had a report to prepare overnight with respect to Rugby and submit to the President as he didn’t have electricity and internet access in his house.

This senior officer instructed the security to allow him in but unknown to the authority, he has an ulterior motive. He went to a nearby building and brought in a very young boy within the age grade of 12 – 14 years with intention to pass the night with the boy at Rugby house.

Alas, immediately the security saw the boy, and knowing-fully the antecedent of Coach John, he (security) refused him entry and they dragged the issues to almost 12 midnight. As the security blatantly refused to allow the boy in, John Sylvanus left with the young boy and went away.

When this senior officer came in the following morning, he inquired to know if everything went well but to his greatest bewilderment, he was informed by the security that John didn’t pass the night at Rugby house as requested because the security didn’t allow him come in with the young boy.

The intention of Mr. John was to have canal knowledge of the hypnotized Young boy. It was quite clear that John didn’t have any report to present but rather had ulterior motives hence the reason he abandoned the report he claimed he wanted to pass the night here when he was refused entry with the little boy.

We beg to help expose this scenario. Mr. John has been harassing us sexually and threatening not to include our names in the league or any tournament if we don’t accept his proposal to date and sleep with us against the tradition and laws of Nigeria and against our conscience.

We have severally reported Mr. John to his ally, the former Technical Director of the Nigerian Rugby Federation and current Head coach of Edo State Rugby Team, Mr. Ntiense Williams but to our greatest surprise, he did nothing. As a matter of fact, Mr. Williams told one of us to cooperate with Mr. John if we want our career to have a meaningful career.

We therefore appeal to your medium to intervene in this matter as it will be highly damaging if the Nigerian Rugby House situated in Surulere, Lagos becomes a “Homosexual Dungeon” or if qualified Rugby Players suffers neglect and demotion for refusing to sleep with fellow men.

Culture / Afenifere Does Not Need A Bank Account, It Is Against Our Tradition- Yinka Oduma by Samuel20009(m): 9:42pm On Sep 30, 2019
EXCLUSIVE REPORT FROM AN IN-HOUSE SOURCE AT AFENIFERE CAUCUS MEETING CURRENTLY ONGOING IN AKURE, ONDO STATE:

NEW YORUBA LEADER, PROF. (SENATOR) BANJI AKINTOYE TO AFENIFERE- Restructure Yourself Internally, Be Less Partisan, Embrace the Younger Generation, Unite Splinter Groups, Be Accountable to Your Members and be Transparent.

In his paper titled "For We May Distintegrate If We Don't Restructure Internally, Akintoye said:

"Please, let's unite all splinter socio-cultural, advocacy and self determination groups together in the interest of Yoruba Race. We must be seen to have direction, united and focused.

"If this caucus continue to lord themselves over the younger generation in the splinter socio-cultural and self determination groups who have by their actions, programmes and initiatives exhibited lack of confidence in Afenifere, we may cease to exist in less than a decade.

"It is sad that unlike the apex group of other regions, Afenifere doesn't not have constitution; no bank account; no financial secretary; no treasurer; no secretariat; no policy direction; no structure; outside the usually flippant release of politically biased and unapproved press statements, the mainstream Afenifere has not organized any programme known to intellectualism in the last one Decade.

"The management has been taken out of the reach of the main leader, Baba Fasoranti. Afenifere is now being ran like a business enterprise by seven people who are also present in this meeting. To these people, Afenifere is their private property.

"We do not care neither do we carry the younger generation along. They have lost confidence in us but we are not bothered. Unfortunately, they have the numbers which Afenifere does not have. We are losing it.

"We played politics to an extent that Federal Government stopped inviting us to meetings on behalf of our people. People who are mere leaders of just ONE PARTY are now the one representing the generality of our people in Aso rock. I urge you to restructure. I urge you to change strategies. I urge you to be less partisan. We must embrace all Yoruba Sons and Daughters" Akintoye said.

However, Lagos Leader of Afenifere, Pa. Ayo Adebanjo and Publicity Secretary of the group, Mr. Yinka Odumakin, supported by some unknown faces invited into the meeting by Pa Adebanjo turned down the emotion-provoked suggestions of Prof. Banji Akintoye.

They opined that Afenifere has never operated from secretariat nor make use of bank account therefore, the union does not need to have Treasurer nor a Secretary.

"In our tradition, we don't use bank account," Mr. Odumakin drooped a bombshell.

Speaking further, Odumakin said "We do not operate from secretariat. The Leader dictate and we follow so the question of structure is baseless. We are not a yahoo-yahoo NGO so organizing programmes should not be our priority. Decisions are taken by less than 10 people in Afenifere for our people to adhere to so we do not need to have Congress to take decisions.

"We are also not going to beg the younger elements to join or trust us. We won't beg anyone. We won't appeal to any group. If they like, let them stay away. We care not about the confidence of anyone. We are not uniting with any group. We are not accountable to anybody" - Mr. Yinka Odumakin, with many rounds of applause from Pa Ayo Adebanjo, Mr. Demola Folarin, Mr. Supo Shonibare, amongst others, opined in his response to the affirmations of Prof. Banji Akintoye.

Politics / My Government Will End The Era Of Cosmetic Projects; Decentralize Power To Grass by Samuel20009(m): 7:25pm On Dec 04, 2018
The Advanced Nigeria Democratic Party (ANDP) Governorship candidate for Lagos State in 2019 general elections, Dr. Oluwasegun Mutairu Musa has promised to take development beyond building bridges, roads, bus stops and flowers in the state if granted the insignia of power in 2019 general elections.

Speaking on Tuesday in Lagos during the presentation of his five points agenda namely: Housing and Infrastructure Development, Blue and Green Economic, Capacity Building and Job Creations, Unlocking Potentials of the Local Government Areas and Sports and Entertainment, christened as “Pillars of Hope” to the members of the press, Musa said the achievements of the past administrations in Lagos State since the inception of fourth republic have been centered only on the execution of cosmetic projects masquerading as infrastructural development, promising to run a people’s oriented government and decentralize power to the grassroots so that the local government areas can be developed.

The Aviation and Maritime Expert advised Lagos State government against encroaching dangerously on the water ways, in the name of claiming back land from water, warning that any surge of the ocean today in Lagos will be calamitous.

The aspirant who revealed that he has a road map to decongest Apapa, and returned it to its previous state said he is hungry to serve and promised to engage and work with all the political parties if voted into power.
“I will decongest traffic in Lagos State electronically. Lagos is due for E-Government which connotes operating from your comfort zone; getting in your comfort zone those things that are suppose to put you on the road such as certificates, license, passport and many more. By the grace of we will engaged the youths to design different apps to make all these possible for the good of our people.

The Badagry born politician promised to reduce tuition fees in all Lagos owned tertiary institutions if elected by fifty percent, stressing that primary and secondary education will be free, compulsory and value added and that if he wins, he we will train teachers to be proactive and productive.

Musa carpeted federal Government’s social intervention’s Trader Moni, describing it as an open way of corrupting the minds of the people to vote an incompetent Government.

“The Vice-President, Yemi Osinbajo should note that Lagosians are not beggars, government should stop dashing people money, they should create an enabling environment for jobs and opportunities to thrive so that people can feed their families.
It is embarrassing to be giving people money on the full-covered of camera, only a visionless government shares money that ought to be used to build infrastructures and develop ICT, they should stop corrupting us, Lagosians are hardworking people” he said.
He promised to cooperate with other south west governors to development the zone if granted the opportunity to serve the people. He vowed to work in collaboration with Ondo State Government to ensure that the 45-killometer Epe-Araromi Road is constructed to decongest traffic along Lagos Ibadan expressway and boost inter-state trade and investment.

Politics / CULTISM: Ekiti Monarch Petitions Gov Fayemi Over Indiscriminate Arrest Of Subjet by Samuel20009(m): 7:44am On Oct 30, 2018
Cultism: Ekiti monarch petitions Gov Fayemi over indiscriminate arrest of subjects.

A traditional ruler in Ekiti State and the Owa Ilogbo of Ilogbo Ekiti in Ido/Osi local government area, Oba Edward Oke Ajayi, has petitioned Governor Kayode Fayemi, complaining over the indiscriminate arrest of his subjects by the police over what he called trumped-up allegation of being secret cult members.

Oba Ajayi, in a petition dated October 28 and personally signed by him, urged the governor to intervene in the crisis that broke out among some youths culminating in the death of a man identified as Bolu Adeleye .

The monarch added that Fayemi should also warn the police from Ido Ekiti division of the Ekiti Command, to stop clamping down his subjects into detention over ‘unfounded’ allegation of being members
of secret cult, saying over 15 youths are currently being detained at the police headquarters in spite of no verifiable evidence linking them to cultism.

Some youths had on October 21, besieged the palace at Ilogbo and vandalized the building and destroyed some vehicles owing to allegation that some youths who fought in the community and suspected to be secret cultists were being kept in the palace.

Oba Ajayi described as a blatant lie, position canvassed by the complainants and a faction in the crisis; Messrs Kayode Omojola, Gbenga Omojola, Femi Olabamija and one Apiaka, that he was using.his palace to shield a group of youths belonging to a dreaded secret cult.

Narrating his ordeal to the state governor, Oba Ajayi clarified that he had since that day abandoned the community when the aforementioned personalities had threatened to deal with him after vandalizing his palace and burnt down a Toyota Previa parked therein on the day the crisis broke out .

He also fingered the personalities as allegedly aiding the police to arrest more people under trumped-up charge of cultism, which he said the police themselves found to be untrue.

The petition read: “I wish to inform you sir, that the news going round the media and town about the crisis was purely cooked up lies. I hereby write to brief you on what really happened, the role I have played and the situation of things now. It happened on Sunday, October 21

“On Monday 22nd October, 2018, as a king of the town I called for peace meeting inviting the chiefs to settle the matter between these youths. Those that arrived earlier and were seated with me at the palace were Chief Ajirowa, Chief Obalua, Chief Olosun and Chief Alawo Ifa.

“A version of those fighting was also seated and they are: Bayo Omotoso, Ajayi Adeyemi, Femi Oluwadare, Jimoh Hameed, Ajirotutu Ojo, Olajide Morakinyo and Oluwateru Kayode, while waiting for the other
aggrieved group for the meeting to commence.

“The other aggrieved group which consists of Kayode Omojola, Gbenga Omojola, Femi Olabamijo and Apiaka, arrived at the palace, instead of sitting down for the discussion, one of them used the walking stick in his hand to hit the boys seated in my presence and other invited chiefs.

“They also started attacking my palace, vandalizing and burning palace properties including all vehicles packed within the palace vicinity. It was in the midst of that confusion that Apiaka shouted that someone has been killed around the town hall which is about 150 meters away from the palace and I later got to know it was Bolu Adeleye by name. The deceased was never seen at the palace and was not part of those invited.

“Sir, I will like to clarify that there is no iota of truth in all of these allegations of cult related issues in this crisis. My son , Ajayi Adeleye who was alleged to be arrowhead of the crisis was not in town as at the time of the crisis, he has never been reported on any cult related cases and as at five years ago he commenced his degree programme.

All my children were born and raised in the town and they have no other home hence cannot be a terror to their own people.

“I call for your help because as we speak only those boys that were seated with us in the palace were arrested, the other group were exonerated and as we speak they are still moving about freely. Your prompt intervention would go a long way at restoring peace to my town,” he concluded.
