i'm using web4africa.. For almost 2years now and i never experienced any problem with them.. bout to Renew For the third year now self.. so Im confused on this down server tingy u talking about...

With several clients on my neck and after loosing all patience ,today(thursday) i went to their Facebook page to complain again.

In other words.. If we are screwing-up, you have no right to say anything...

Meanwhile at least 3 of my clients run online-only business.. almost a whole working week is gone meaning a quarter of their income for this month is already lost...

It wasn't till after the Facebook Comment that i got an email..4 days after ...with 10 websites offline...that said..

Considering the astronomical rape incidents in India, I am not shocked this underwear is coming out of India.

THREE engineering students have come up with“anti-rape” underwear that gives an electric shock to attackers AND alerts cops.

The trio designed a camisole underwired with atechnology that can deliver up to 82 electric shocks. The garment has pressure sensors sewn in around the bust area that detect groping hands and send out the shock – which has the strength of a stun gun.

The product also sends a message to police as well as to the family of the victim.
The undergarment – dubbed Society Harnessing Equipment or SHE – was created by trainee automobile engineers from Chennai, India afterthe fatal gang rape of a 23-year-old physiotherapy student on a New Delhi bus last December.

Last month a Swiss woman was attacked in the country and a British tourist told how she jumped out of her hotel window fearing a man was trying to molest her. Co-inventor Manisha Mohan said: “A person trying to molest a girl will get the shock of his life the moment pressure sensors get activated.”

The 24 foreign airlines flying into Nigeria are in dilemma on whether to stop or continue flights into the country as the Federal Government has yet to approve their summer schedule, five days after the commencement of the summer season on March 28, 2013.

It is illegal for any airline to fly into another country without getting approval for its winter and summer seasonal schedules from the host countries, aviation experts familiar with the situation have said.

The approval is usually given days ahead of the expiration of the current season’s schedule in order to avoid a situation where an airline has to ground its flight operations while waiting for approval.

Although most of the foreign airlines have begun implementing their winter schedule, which has yet to be approved by the Ministry of Aviation, a number of them are, however, worried that the delay in the approval process may put them in an unpleasant situation.

A country manager of one of the foreign airlines, who spoke to our correspondent in confidence because of the sensitive nature of the subject said, “We are in dilemma whether to stop our flights to Nigeria or not because we don’t know why the summer schedule has been delayed up till now. We started implementing our summer schedule since March 31, but we are very worried.

“This has not happened in a very long time. So, that is why we are worried. The approval comes usually days ahead of the commencement of the new season’s schedule.”

It was gathered that one of the numerous implications of not getting approval for the schedule before flying was that in the event of a crash or major accident, insurance companies might refuse to pay compensation to the affected airline and its passengers because such would be regarded as an illegal flight.

The development has generated concerns among the foreign airlines’ executives and top officials of the Ministry of Aviation, who felt that any further delay might force some of the carriers to consider halting their flight operations into the country so as not to find themselves in an unpleasant situation.

Findings revealed that the airlines’ winter schedules expired between March 28 and 31, depending on each carrier’s schedule.

It was further gathered that the proposed summer schedules of all the 24 airlines were currently at the ministry awaiting the approval of the Minister of Aviation, Ms. Stella Oduah.

Sources at the ministry, however, could not give reasons for the delay, saying the minister had the final approval.

According to them, the final approval is usually given by the Aviation minister based on the recommendations of the Schedule Approval Committee comprising officials from the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria and Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority, and headed by a director in the ministry.

The chief executive officer of another major foreign airline said, “We don’t know the reason for the delay this time around. We have never experienced this kind of delay before. All of us are just keeping our fingers crossed, looking at what is going to happen.

“Well, we can’t stop our flights since they have not asked us to stop. Neither can we continue the former (winter) schedule because if we do so, our passengers from Nigeria will miss their connections in our hubs in Europe due to the time difference in the new winter schedule. And of course, Nigeria alone cannot be operating a winter schedule in a summer season.”

However, the Special Assistant (Media) to the Minister of Aviation, Mr. Joe Obi, said Oduah had not refused to approve the foreign airlines’ summer schedules, adding that they would be approved very soon

Obi said, “The minister has not refused to sign the schedules. There is a procedure and all schedules are currently being processed. This is routine exercise and the minister has no reason to withhold or refuse to sign them.

“But the process must be followed. In a short while, all the schedules will be signed once the processes have been concluded.”

Thousands of Lagosians converged at the Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Onikan, on Monday for the inaugural edition of the Lagos State Carnival.
People started arriving the TBS as early as 10am to await the various floats.While some floats represented districts including Obalende/Ikoyi, Ikorodu, Yaba and Agege amongst others, majority of them were however, students from secondary and primary schools in the state.
Adorned in various colourful costumes and headdresses, the floats passed through some routes in Victoria Island and Lagos Island before finally converging on the TBS, where they filed past the governor, Babatunde Raji Fashola, and other dignitaries.

President Jonathan's first Easter Sunday service and celebration in Lagos, Nigeria's commercial city was marred by an embarrassing power outage at the Our Savour's Church Marina, where the President worshipped. The President speech was as the power outage occurred whilst the President Jonathan was delivering his speech to the congregation. He however vowed that by next year the power in the church will be uninterrupted. I found this heart breaking picture of this young girl murdered like she was nothing on net this morning.Seriously,i’ve not been myself since then.The details of where or how the victim was murdered havn’t been made known yet but I’ll try get every detailed information about the murder.

With the mind of a psychologist,I would say she was kidnapped,raped and intentionally tortured to death by maybe an enemy.It pains me most to know that the wicked barbarians who did this to are out there walking the streets freely.

A student leader said that three university students set fire to themselves on the campus of Senegal’s largest university to protest changes in the way credits are being counted in the college’s geography department.

Seydou Niang, who organised a week-long hunger strike, said that three of his classmates doused themselves in gasoline and set themselves alight on Friday. Niang spoke on the telephone from the hospital, where he had accompanied the three. He said all three had survived, but one had suffered severe burns and was in intensive care.

The University of Cheikh Anta Diop was once one of the most prestigious universities in West Africa. It has fallen into disrepair and the campus is frequently immobilised both by student protests and strikes by the low-paid professors.

Meanwhile, the son of former Senegal President Abdoulaye Wade appeared before the west African nation’s top anti-corruption prosecutor to justify his income against “illegal wealth” accusations.

A smiling Karim Wade made no comment as he arrived at the Dakar offices of Alioune Ndao, special prosecutor of the Anti-Corruption Court who has given the politician 30 days to justify his past and present income.

Supporters of the former ruling Senegalese Democratic Party (PDS) who shouted “Free Karim” in front of the court were dispersed with tear gas by security forces and responded by throwing stones in a brief exchange.

The PDS accuses the regime of Macky Sall, who defeated Wade’s father in presidential elections last year, of conducting a “witch hunt” since it came to power and imposing a climate of “terror” against the PDS hierarchy.

Several leaders of the 2000-2012 Wade regime, including his son, have been repeatedly questioned by police and judges investigating allegations of “illegal enrichment” but this is the first time Wade junior has been summoned by Ndao.

The 44-year-old is also under investigation in France following a complaint by the Senegalese government for the alleged embezzlement of public funds, misuse of corporate assets and corruption, according to a judicial source.

After his last questioning by police in November, he was banned from leaving Senegal along with six other officials from the former regime.

The former minister has held several high profile portfolios including international cooperation, air transport, infrastructure and energy and was nicknamed “Super Minister” and “Minister of Heaven and Earth.” -

There was serious pandemonium in general area of Ogbomoso, Oyo-state Today when a Tanker carrying fuel Fell at around 8am, Immediately this happened, everyone ran for their dear lives and Close up their shops while some ran without closing their shops for the fear of explosion, after few minutes some people around the area came towards the tanker and started fetching fuel which was just rushing uncontrollably out of the tanker and few minutes later.. there was a long queue of people coming with Buckets, kegs, Drums, bottles and all sorts fetching fuel from the fallen tanker..
