dheolexaone: This is a big no and to talk of it that my ex reached out to me ina blue moon to invite me to his wedding lately is very funny.
It was an outright no answer. Why should I be the source of another woman's sadness? Is it written on your forehead that you are his ex? You people like to make a mountain out of a molehill! |
Romance › Re: Should Your Ex-lover Attend Your Wedding Party? by SamuraiXXX: 9:03am On Feb 08 |
tolufase: It depends on the circumstances that led to her becoming your ex. It's not every relationship that ended with a quarrel. Sometimes, people choose to go their separate ways peacefully. Under this circumstances, you might still find your ex want to be there when you have something to celebrate. So far you are the first person who has made a sensible comment on this topic, everyone else is just blowing their top. The fact that a person is your ex does not necessarily make him or her your enemy |

Makinaki: It's just unbelievable the mundane things Nigeria's major corporate organisations and political elite focus on. Birthdays, weddings, even family bereavement. All signs of an unserious country of particular concern - majoring in the minor! In the same country where about 200 souls were just slaughtered like sheep days ago o. To hell with silly birthdays. You're talking rubbish, is she directly or indirectly responsible for those deaths?! |

Dogalmighty17: Generator fumes are not fun o. Where possible, keep your generator far away. Carbon monoxide from your gen is odourless and colourless. Your blood has the same affinity for carbon monoxide that it does for oxygen. It doesn't know the difference and when carbon monoxide has entered your blood stream, it is pretty hard to dislodge. Be careful out there. Do people still make the mistake of using generator indoors in this day and age? |

Business › Re: My Experience With Paypal And Paga Partnership by SamuraiXXX: 9:12pm On Feb 04 |
nwachukwu9: My experience with PayPal was honestly one of the most frustrating things I’ve ever dealt with online. I opened a personal PayPal account to receive payments for freelance digital services—nothing illegal, nothing shady, just honest online work. Like many people, I trusted PayPal because it’s global, popular, and widely accepted by international clients. Unfortunately, that trust didn’t last long. The problem started when someone tried to send me money using Family and Friends. I didn’t even get the chance to accept or reject the payment before my account was immediately limited. There was no warning and no clear explanation, just a sudden restriction. PayPal asked me to submit my ID and explain what I do, and I complied fully. I was honest and clear, explaining that I’m an independent freelancer providing digital services online, with no physical products and no restricted activities. I truly believed that once I submitted everything, the issue would be resolved. Instead, after waiting, I received an email telling me that my account had been permanently limited. That was it. No detailed reason, no specific policy violation explained, and no real opportunity to fix anything. What made the situation even more painful was the fact that I had previously used PayPal accounts from other countries, including South Africa and Mozambique, and receiving Family and Friends payments had never been a problem. Same platform, same type of transaction, different country. That’s when it became clear to me that this wasn’t really about what I did, but where I’m from. From my experience—and from reading countless similar stories online—it’s obvious that Nigerian PayPal users are treated much more harshly. New accounts are heavily scrutinized, one small action can trigger a permanent ban, and once PayPal makes a decision, it’s almost impossible to reverse it, even when you comply and act in good faith. After a permanent limitation, you’re told not to open another PayPal account, appeals rarely work, and you’re forced to look for alternatives. For freelancers and online workers, this is especially painful because PayPal is still seen by many international clients as the default payment option. Losing access feels like being locked out of opportunities you worked hard for. What I learned from this experience is simple but important: Nigerian freelancers should never rely on PayPal as their only payment method, Family and Friends payments should be avoided completely, and you should always assume that PayPal can shut your account down without warning. Alternatives should be in place before you need them. I’m not writing this out of anger alone, but out of disappointment. A platform that presents itself as global should not quietly treat users differently based on location without transparency or meaningful support. If you’ve experienced something similar, you’re not alone, and if you haven’t yet, I hope this helps you be more prepared than I was. Learn to use paragraphs when writing |

Car Talk › Re: $1 Billion For A Car, Will You Buy This Car ? Pictures by SamuraiXXX: 2:26pm On Feb 04 |
JibolaUsman: Came across this on the internet this morning and it's highly intriguing. According to the Facebook account this car will cost One Billion Dollars when it will be released on October 17, 2026.
According to the account it will come with Time Travel. What Is Time Travel ? Sho! Is it the same time travel we see in science fiction. Is time travel even possible ?
One thing that I totally agree with is the car is being called " The Most Beautiful Car Of All Time ". Omo I agree o. The car Handsome no be small. Why did they say it was beautiful ? It looks handsome
You can go to Facebook to see more pictures of it at Facebook/ Loloko Oloko.
Omo the car is the ishh. Imagine driving this car on the streets of Lagos, drivers will get accident by looking at the car and not looking at where they are going.
One Billion Dollars is alot of money and I doubt if any American billionaire will buy it, unless the time travel is 100 percent real, then they will buy it for the time travel and then reverse engineer it so that they can build their own time travel machine.
If the time travel is not really that time travel then the only market this car will have is in the middle east.
So what do you guys think of this car ? Will you buy a car that costs $1,234,567,890 ? Fake news! No one will anywhere in the world will pay $1 billion for a new car even if it can fly |
