Went through the thread and it is heartwarming that a number of NLers have gotten jobs into Stanbic with Oga Richie's assistance of invaluable information.

Congratulations to everyone who got in and success to those still in the pipeline.
Honestly he's been helpful can't wait to share my testimony here to.

Hi, from experience stanbic usually takes about 3-4wks to send a feedback to successful applicants for the next phase. So, I'll advice that you patiently wait.
Honestly this is just it, you just have to be patient! mine's been spanning since January and i'm still on it....it has humbled me for real! and i know the wait is worth it!

My honest advise?

Apply!!!

These are my reasons.

I am not a negative news carrier but i always prepare for the worst case scenario. Always have a plan B.

Stanbic Recruitment takes time. I believe we all know this at this point. Apply for the DiSEP. There will be ample time before the screening process. You will have used this window period to know your fate in the aftermath of the GT interview. If you don't scale through the GT interview, you have DiSEP as backup.

You will be trained and certified during DiSEP. If you still don't scale and get in through the DiSEP, you have gotten the required skills, a couple of projects and you are then suitably qualified for other jobs in the labour market. But many successful persons through the DiSEP got taken.

It's a win-win.

Wishing you all the best.
Thank you boss i really appreciate!

Hello Emmy,

I was about posting the link for Nairalanders to apply.

Stanbic IBTC DiSEP (Digital Skills Empowerment Programme) 3.0 is a CSI (Corporate social initiative) of Stanbic IBTC where they identify unique digitally savvy talents, train, upskill and develop them in digital skills while positioning them as top talents and bridging the gap in the talent scarcity in the employment market.

We have had the first phase, the second phase DiSEP 2.0 (of which some nairalanders benefited from. They are on this thread and i welcomed them physically). This is the Third phase DiSEP 3.0.

The beauty of this whole program is that after the training and everything, Stanbic will offer you employment and give you ABO grade.

The requirements are as follows:

1. Applicants should be interested in building a career in the following technical fields; IT Software Development, Cloud Security Analyst, Cyber Security Engineering, Data Engineering, Mobile App Development, Blockchain Development, IoT Development, UI and UX Development, Linux OS Administration, Database Administration, Applications Support.

2. Minimum of a Second Class (or its equivalent) degree in an Information Technology or Engineering related course from an accredited University. ****Side note abi insider information. If you do not have any degree in IT or engineering but you have undergone some trainings, work experience or certification, you stand a chance.

3. Minimum of five credits (Mathematics and English inclusive) in GCE, NECO or its equivalent

4. Applicants must have concluded NYSC and must have discharge certificate in hand.

5. Applicant's Date of Birth, Gender and class of degree must be clearly stated.

Copy this link, paste on your browser and apply.

Wishing everyone best of luck.

Hi guys,

Update!!

They sent me a mail today requesting for my credentials. Guess I passed the assessment. I've sent it in. What should I expect?.
wow good to hear, you're making progress. I think an interview will be next!
CareerRe: Your Thoughts On Nigerian Banks Salaries 2021 by Samziecool: 11:52am On Apr 24, 2023
richmondefosa:
Everything I said is true.
Salary has even been increased again last march.

Some got as low as 16% Increase.

Also, Health insurance and Pension are no longer debited from your salary. Stanbic takes over and bears the cost of your HMO and pension remittance 100%

A few nairalanders joined my department this month. I was happy to receive and help them settle in seamlessly.

I have always and still maintain that Stanbic is an amazing place to work.

Many will never know this until they join and see things for themselves. That's why I'll always provide relevant information that is needed on this thread to guide people.

I am happy here.
wow, i have my Top management interview in a week time, wish me well, as i really hope and pray to Join the blue Family!
