God punish devil.

IPPIS has come to stay. If the work tire Una, make Una resign. There are millions of qualified graduates who will willingly take up that jobs.
God bless President Buhari.

This will only work if universities are run like secondary schools. Note the following:
1. The entry-level for lecturing is a Ph.D, not first degree
2. First-degree holders employed to the academic cadre are mere trainees called "Graduate Assistants". It doesn't matter whether they graduated with a first class or 2.1
3. Lecturers are employed on a "specialization" basis. You cannot employ someone with a Ph.D. in atmospheric physics to fill a position meant for nuclear physics

Let me stop here. This explanation might just be a waste of time...

Well I learnt some people's pay got jumped a bit...maybe they reduced the union dues

The union dues did not reduce. IPPIS programmed the dues to be 2% of the GROSS salary, not taking into consideration what the unions charge as dues. For example, ASUU's monthly due is 2% of basic salary and not gross as IPPIS is currently programmed to deduct...

yes..its better.them even add small change and reduce my dues

IPPIS increased your takehome and reduced your dues How did that happen to you and no other person experienced such salary "boost" and "dues reductions"?

Are you working or "pretending to work" in a Nigerian university as a carpenter/furniture maker (as indicated in your profile info)? What was your April salary like, compared to February and March?

simple privatisation would end this long comment..if assu continues to complicate things I see a full blown privatisation in d nearest future at least it will return sanity to the system and there would be no need for this long talk.i too like whites try trump..y is bubu so slow..in taking decision privatise all of Schs and cash out mumu

Privatization will solve the problem of having people like you on full-time employment in any university. You will simply become a "contract" or "casual" staff in a privatized educational institution (where your new masters will pay you peanuts and you dare not complain).....

....I really pray that your place of work is sold to the Chinese or Lebanese.......

did u take access pay day loan? Grant's sannu loans or micro finance this is not possible please don't mislead people here.I am a uni worker and ippis is d best thing that has happened to me in d recent times.there is something u are not telling us .u can't eat ur cake and still hold on to it

What the man posted is true. IPPIS made a mess of salaries of FTI staff (you should know this if you are TRULY a university staff as you claimed).
Which true staff of a federal tertiary institution would call for outright privatization of schools if not enemies of Nigerian youth?

If I may ask, what exactly are misfits like you doing in a university?

How did Sonibare make prof before Ademodi and Anozie?

What of Dr Taiwo, prof Layokun, Mr Osunleke, Dr macaulay should have retired now. He was one of those who founded the dept in 1969. Dr Anozie was one of the first set

3. Dr. Taiwo (of mass transfer) is now a Prof.
4. Dr. Ademodi is now a Prof (with the promotion backdated to................................ (well, no idea! That one pass me.)
5. Dr. Macaulay...........Retired 12 years ago!
6. Dr Osunleke............ still teaches CHE 305
