Hello everyone,

I recently received a denial for my visitor visa application. To understand the reason for the denial, I applied for my GCMS notes. However, upon reviewing the notes, I was disappointed to find that they didn't provide any specific reason for the denial, instead repeating the same generic response I received initially.

Could anyone offer guidance on the next steps I should take?

First step is to calculate ur score via the crs tool. Use this link: https://ircc.canada.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp

Second step is to take the IELTS Exam and make sure u get a minimum of Listening: 8; Reading: 7; Writing: 7; Speaking 7.5 (i will advise you to aim higher, cos the higher ur IELTS test, the higher ur points for language)

Third step is to get ur highest degree evaluated via WES (preferably masters). You can do this while preparing for ur IELTS exam. The link to WES Canada is https://applications.wes.org/createaccount
Your University will be the one to upload your results via WES. So u shouldn't bother yourself. It is only wen u start the process that u understand it

Fourth step is to create an express entry profile and enter the pool with the NOC of your choice. The link to registering of an account via canada immigration website is https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/account.html

Nomination via PNP is only applicable to u if u av a sibling residing in that particular province for over a year and that province offers sibling nomination. Provinces like Alberta, Manitoba & Saskatchewan offer sibling nomination but you  need to go to their various websites for further research. 
You can explore the ongoing category draws and see if it is something u or ur friend can work with. There are five categories which are: STEM, Agriculture,  Transportation, French and Trade. You just need to have had work experience in the last three years for either of these categories and enter the pool with their NOC (For example if you have worked as a Transportation manager in the last 3yrs, u can go into the pool with NOC number 70020 for work experience and make sure that you can get a reference letter/payslip to backup ur claim after u av received an ITA)

There is no telling on when you will get an ITA or the exact timeframe to get ur PR afrer ITA cos Canada is not predictable.  So instead of worrying about all that, start with baby steps by getting ur WES/IELTS and entering the pool.

I would inform my friend to commence the process as soon as possible cause from your response I could tell that one could spend as much as two years in the pool without getting an ITA. Well, like you advised the most important thing is to commence the application.

Please, I’m a first timer here and I can see that the thread has already gotten to part 11, scrolling back to get information might seem tedious. (apologies to those who might find this offensive)

Please, a friend of mine is really interested and wants to commence application for the Canadian express entry. Can someone put me through on the following;
1. The necessary documents needed to commence the application.
2. The exact website to commence registration
3. Does one need to get nominated by a province to get the PR?
4. What steps to get the ITA?
5. After application, how long does it take to get an ITA?
5. I know there’s a need for Wes verification. After the verification, where can one upload the result?

I would be most grateful if someone take out their time to respond to my enquiries.

From what I have read so far on this thread, they seldom request for an updated statement. So I will advise to you go ahead.

No embassy will request for an updated bank statement.

To the best of my knowledge, the embassy can only verify that the document you submitted is authentic. No bank has the right to reveal the balance in your account without your consent. Safe for criminal investigation matters.

I think you can withdraw the amount you need cause having to wait for about 6 months without making use of the funds in your account seems irrational. Just make sure that at any point in time, the account isn’t empty.

bro what if i go to my bank to request for a loan,for so so amount to be in my account then i will print it out and make a clam that i sold my landed property to raise this money, asin to prove to IRCC that i sold my land property? Then I will do the land paper that shows that i sold my land, is it good to go?

Take it easy Bro. You sound really desperate. Give it time. Grow your account the right way and reapply, you’d see you’ll get the visa.

Taking loan from the bank would never seem right. If I were the one reviewing your document, I would easily spot that you’re desperate to “Japa”.

Do not take loan from the bank, the interest for that kind of arrangement is already above 7% as we speak.

First off, I’ll advice that you request for your gcms notes to know the exact documents your agent used in applying for you. This one you’re saying you don’t know the exact amount that was used as your POF in your previous applications.

Many thanks i have i do understand i have docs and poof of ownership and i understand i inflows and from company account and my personal account what even if the letter carries little or no weight ! What not withstanding i still need to write a letter what i was asking is do i need to type on my company letterhead paper and after typing on my company letterhead paper then i will scan it and upload to IRRC that what am asking or they is a place on the IRCC to write the letter without haven to type on my letterhead .

All my other visa from EU country and many more i have been typing on my letterhead but this my first time tying to apply for Canada .

Lol! You seem to have a lot to say but don't listen. You’ve been advised by several people but keep saying same thing repeatedly.

Sha ensure that you have enough money in your account asides your budget of 2.3m.

Ensure you have an a steady inflow in your account too.

hmmmm I'm just confused and short of words 🤣. Uk deny me based on mistake which I can drop the refusal for review. But I will declare all the refusal. Us b1/b2 refused me 2017 when I started my business I tried to apply with no cash only 200k bal as of then I was naive then. Then I have not apply since till now. UK is my first time applying for UK tourist visa this June. So I have done all my calculation for my 11days trip both all expenses is 2.3m 700k so I sum all to be round figure 2.5m my budget. So where I'm confuses is how much will i have in my acct as closing bal is it 3.5m or 4m that's what I'm asking for those that know more of Canada. For my sister sponsor is like I will remove her if she is a red flag in sponsoring 34yrs like me😂. I will Full sponsor myself and try my luck.
Some one decieved me that canada is hard this that i for apply am first than wasting this huge amount in Uk. So thank you for the advice here i really really appreciate.

Yes, it’s correct but please do not attach your office letter. You can only attach your office letter if your employer is resident in Canada.

If you are employed and work here in Nigeria, ignore and do not upload any document.
