Maxymilliano: I know a station that was selling at 920/liter as at last week Friday but had to drop the pump price to 875 this week despite having reserves of old stock.
That's what the lamentation is all about Also I know stations that doubled their prices immediately when subsidy was removed despite having old stock. Let them not complain |
Politics › Re: Oyetola's Team Arrives Bayelsa To Finalize Talks On $3bn Agge Seaport Project by Sarry68: 1:13pm On Feb 04, 2025 |
owobokiri: Where is the lie in what I said !? Most imports from Lagos ports end up in the east. Close to 70%. Yet the most favoured ports are in the west, while all administrative measures to subdue and denigrate the eastern ports are fashioned and implemented from Abuja, ofcourse with the tacit support from the over mischievous southwest. Explain to us how the region that accounts for the highest port related businesses in Nigeria, ended up with all their ports effectively grounded. And if you think I was bluffing, show me any federal government success stories as it regards the modernisation of seaports in the former Eastern Nigeria. Just one example of a thriving port will do... Do remember that when most of the ports were developed, port development was in the exclusive list, so..
I'm waiting .. And you will disappear.. How can 70% of Nigeria's Total imports end up in the east? Bro....calm down na |

Really, they want us to believe the pupil ran into a cane?...... why's she holding the cane in the first place, are they training goats. The school needs to be locked forever and the headteacher prosecuted. Canes should not be allowed anywhere around the school premises. |
Politics › Re: Minimum Wage: FG, Labour Meeting Adjourned As Workers Rejects ₦54,000 Offer by Sarry68: 10:40am On May 22, 2024 |
Chinjo2: In case most of you don't understand the need for NLC and TUC to stand their grounds, 54k is just N100 per meal for a family of 6 (Father, mother and 4 children for 30 days).
N100 X 3 = N300 N300 X 6 = N1,800 N1,800 X 30 days = 54k
In most parts of the country, you can't even get a plate of food for N500 talk less of N100.
This is just for feeding. What about house rent, Electricity bills, fueling, school fees, hospitals bills etc.
Hope this regime is favouring the BATarials? Why will someone earning minimum wage have a family of six.... that's a crazy way to think |
Politics › Re: Nigeria’s FX Reserves Dip By $1.02 Billion In 18 Days On Cbn’s Naira Defence by Sarry68: 8:16pm On Apr 08, 2024 |
Namaster: "...the sale of $10,000 foreign exchange to each Bureau De Change operator (BDC) in Nigeria at a rate of N1,251/$1."
Cardoso is fighting a losing battle.
Imagine selling scarce Dollars to BDCs (most likely affiliated with politicians) at ABSURD rates just to defend something that is indefensible.
$1.8B is OVER 1 TRILLION Naira. And it's gone in just 18 days. Yet there is no concrete plan to generate more. |
