CBN and their governors. What Sanusi did to my stock Portfolio because of personal vandeta it's only heavens that will judge him.

The 700k i spent on First Bank IPO @33 naira per share in 2007 is worth next to nothing today. The land I bought few month earlier has appreciated more than 1000% so far.

It's not about what you think, it's actually my own personal experience.
What led me to Nairaland in 2005 was my curiosity about stock and shares.
I had huge portfolio from Banks, Oil and Gas(JA Paul etc), Insurance and so many undervalued stocks. At the end I got burnt so badly that I forgot my CNCS number (whatever it's called). You can read about the stock market crash of 2009 upwards.
While stock market might be a good investment option, for your sanity, you must diversify your investments.
From experience, genuine land will give you ROI that stocks will struggle to give you at the long run.
Fyi, Nigerian stock market is very volatile and till today insider trading is still rife.
