My name is Saurabh Raj, and I started learning Figma during my college days with my friends.

One day, we were discussing how websites and mobile apps were designed before coding. One of my friends said, “Let's try Figma.” We opened it and started experimenting.

At first, Figma looked confusing. We didn't understand frames, components, auto layout, or even basic design rules. But instead of giving up, we learned together.

We started creating simple buttons, login screens, and website layouts. We would share our designs with each other and ask, “Does this look good?” Sometimes we made terrible designs, but every mistake taught us something new.

Slowly, I became interested in UI/UX design. I learned that good design isn't only about making something beautiful. It should also be simple, clear, and easy to use.

What started as a small experiment with my friends eventually became the beginning of my journey as a UI/UX designer.

I'm still learning Figma today, but I always remember where it started—with a few friends, a laptop, and the simple thought:

“Let's just try it.”
