You are absolutely wrong on this, you don't call moves of 50 to 70pips scalping. Impossible!

I disagreed on this, if you know how to scalp, you can scalp big pips or small pips, sometimes I scalp 50 to 70 pips, but on Dax or high volatile instruments

Definitely NOT!
Scalping is a trading style that specializes in profiting off small price changes, generally after a trade is executed and becomes profitable you quickly take small pips on high lot size. It requires a trader to have a strict exit strategy because one large loss could eliminate the many small gains the trader worked to obtain.

Oh you haven't heard the Vcrap master say I am even a useless 5pips trader?
My brother my aim is to make profits and consistent account growth and if I can increase the 50k account from 55k to 58k which just these 2 trades then who cares how many pips it it.
Plan your trade,trade your plan, rinse then repeat.
20pips is going to give 5% when hit, so fear even 10pips oh. Just trying to make the profit journey short for us with my kalo kalo ways. grin

As long as Gold stays below this white line that it broke this morning, let us keep selling Gold on rise in case I can't post. I am of the strong opinion that Gold should touch 1545/35 before it rises at all. Cheers good people.

Trade already closed at entry after going 30pips positive.
Told you since early in the morning to buy till the 9am candle, where I would sell Gold. Did it happen as exactly planned?
Sold at the exact open of 9am candke at 1561 SL 1564 and trade has gotten 130pips since then. Expect 1563 to have capped any upwards movement.

My brother, we are not talking about SL here, if a news article causes spikes then it is important news. And even if you know the outcome it can still move the market, how many times do interest rates change? Did the NZD news not still move the markets?
Anyways I'm surprised you call Lagardes speech and ADP as none events but the attached indicates they are as high impact as NFP on friday.

The decision today [not proceedings as that has been concluded since last week] on whether the President of the United States of America is to be impeached or not is not a major economic news? Ok.

Today is one of the most important days in the history of our generation as regards American Presidency. The Senate will vote on the articles of impeachment on Trump. The markets have been waiting to get the news of the impeachment over and with so they know how they'd deal with Ametica.
I know they will almost certainly vote to acquit Trump because the Senate is majority of Trumps party people, but there would be spikes and if Trump is not impeached the Dollar would just sky rocket because he always wants strong dollar.
This is like the news of the Century for America as it's been over 150yrs since an impeachment got to this stage last oh.

@sconp ,if you had used the kind of 40pips Sl I use for these kind of pairs, you'd be in good profit now. Only the EURCHF with small SL got killed.
We'd get other trades by God's grace.

These things are practical and I'm not doing again sef, lol. The account I posted from yesterday at 43k is 55K today, that's just above 10R, so with my normal risk of 3%, account is now standing at 30% profits .
We got the bias of the news correct as well. This is real life before and after,not facebook photoshop, they post the next day, lol
Won't be posting these things anymore, doesn't feel like it's really of benefit, maybe when I'm close to 100k again cheesy

We await the posting of the next set of results or runners when trade is in loss.
All we need here is mad pips, if my real-demo account [which I've clearly stated in my signature], is consistently fetching someone profits on their real account, is that bad? Or are all my trades still hitting SL?

Shhhhh......all these useless lines that we draw have given us a sell at 1571 and 1558 which both closed at 1550 for 290pips!! Only 14.5R out of our 15R target angry

I know they would come and laugh at us for not arriving at our 15R but don't worry we will make the 0.5R on another Gold trade.
I still wont be a buyer of GOLD just yet, the market makers wont just give a clear reversal like that. Maybe I'd try a buy around 1535 or 1509 where no one expects.
Saxo bank has been boasting of Gold getting to 1555 level since last week when Gold kept going up, have you heard of buy the rumour, sell the news?
Let me sneak out now, hope we were all profitable today. Another day, another trade. cool

Watch out for this wedge, once Gold breaks this wedge,late comers can join the ride at 1558 which I'm adding. Today might just bring our 15R to us.

If you took this trade, it has potentials to get to 1550 under 1575. Aiming for 15R is very doable.
