moxizfit:All cars manufactured from 1996 till date are called OBDII compliant cars, in other words they all have the same type of DLC (16-pin data link connector somewhere around or underneath your dashboard or steering) This DLC enables the scanner to pull out any malfunction code already stored in the ECM which mechanics call the brain box. It also gives a precise description of the code so you know exactly where the problem is. Here are the features of the scanner is for your check engine or service engine soon light (engine and transmission scan). It can not scan the chassis, ABS or air bags. It is for all makes and models of cars from 1996 till date. It also shows the code and short description as well as displaying live data for the components of your engine that are supported with the relevant sensors. It plots the graph of the particular component of the engine when in operation as well |
