If you had done your research well, you would have found out that Launch is a wholly CHINESE company as you insinuate and I cannot recall anywhere in my post where I claimed the product was from Europe, America or Japan.

Tips on how to know the original of this apparatus from the clone:
You can differenciate the clone from the original by checking the 16-pin DLC connector, it will not have LAUNCH embossed on it and the manual if it has one will not have the combination of the alphanumeric serial number for updating pasted on the first page.
