Politicians has divided us thru tribal sentiment. I grew up happily moving with all tribes especially Yorubas without rancour.
In my place of work now, my boss and all the workers are Yorubas except me and I am treated well cus I'm not tribalistic. Infact if not for my name, they won't know I am not a Yoruba guy cus I speak it fluently.

Same way I have heard from some Yorubas that they enjoy doing business with Igbo guys many times than their fellow Yorubas.
We all are friends and one right from time, how these politicians came to divide us is what's still paining me

I visited a friend around that axis early this year, and the sheer number of okada men was insane. It really shocked me because a few years back, I used to frequent that area, and I know how hard it was to even find an okada in the evening when people were coming back from work. Driving back, when I got to the bus stop, I was literally fighting for the road with them; they were absolutely everywhere.

Usually, bikes are scarce when people are coming home from work in this area, cos i stayed there for some time, but they were there in droves. I even turned to my friend and said, I won't be surprised if we hear bandits have taken over this area, because that sudden, massive influx is honestly alarming.
