Because they was no Nigeria then, the South East was a country of its own then known as Republic of Biafra with strong economy and trade and no need to come to Lagos, until Nigeria was later created and that Biafran buoyant economy with Sapele and Rivers seaports were destroyed out of envy, their seaport was destroyed to favour Lagos. So they moved to Lagos to use the seaport to import and export their goods, and so doing there developed Lagos to what it is today.

They know, but their wickedness and envy towards Igbos can never let them accept that Southeast is a blessed region being sabotaged by Hausa-Fulani/Yoruba controlled Nigerian federal government since the end of civil war.


That was why they worked overtime to ensure most Southeast oil communities were carved out from Abia and Imo and placed in Rivers and Akwa Ibom states, just to satisfy their wicked narrative that Southeast is a tiny barren land, but God pass them.


Even after all the political marginalization and intimidation of Southeast, we remain indomitable and the tiny land they left for Southeast has become the home of natural gas in Africa and the world, housing the most amount of natural gas in the Sub-saharan region.


Just a matter of time crude oil will give way for natural gas, and Southeast will become the next Saudi Arabia of the world


Tell me why Nigerian government abandoned coal exploration? Because its found in Igbo land alone and they cannot imagine that. Coal is still being used and mined in Russia and many other nations and they earn millions of dollars revenue from it and that same better coal mineral is in excess deposit in Enugu and some part of Ebonyi state.



A lot of crude oil sites in Imo, Abia and Anambra states were abandoned by Nigeria's sectional federal government just to sabotage Southeast states' economy and to ensure they remained below par economically.



They did a lot of harm to Southeastern Nigeria after the civil war ended using federal politics but I strongly believe that God of justice will settle all the injustices against Igbos with time and then reward all the wicked tribes and regions that swore that Igbos and Igbo land will never flourish and achieve its destined potential by God and nature.



They have been fighting nature and nature will definitely revenge and it will be massive, time will teach them lessons about life
