Hey guys. If you’ll need the soft copy books for the GRE, please send me an email. I don’t come here so often because I’ve been preparing for the exam.
Also, I don’t know if I’m late to the party but I just found out I can take a free practice test on Kaptest. I think it’s under Kaplan and I registered using the book a week or 2 ago. If you’d also like to register, I’ll be going to my tutorial center on Monday so you can email me the question you get asked during the registration and I’ll look through the book to give you an answer. Ps- I don’t own the Kaplan book- (I only have ETS and Manhattan) so I only have access to Kaplan from Monday’s - Wednesdays

Hi boss. Pls, send me the materials.. sman4you1994@gmail.com... thank you

Good evening, bros.

We know the advertised roles were assurance, tax, advisory and the likes.

Is there a possibility of one getting posted to any other department like IT or HR after the interview?

Hi bro. For core HR unit, I doubt it cos I think they do that separately. However, there is a unit call IFS-,they support core client facing units. So yea it's possible to be posted here. Moreover people move from one Los to another including HR (heard of people who had done this before) so far the movement can be reasonably justify.

For IT, again I doubt you can be posted directly there. But still, a tech person would still find a suitable unit in all of the 3 Los especially in advisory and assurance.

Hello all,

Please can anyone help with this enquiry for PWC experienced hire technical test?

The test was scheduled for 11am - 11:10 am, the taker completed it by 11:10 am and clicked on submit, but this was the response they got after the page loaded.

Has anyone had similar experience that can confirm if their own test results was later submitted?
Hi! I'll advise you send a mail to the HR and attach the screenshot.

Nice, this is great then. As I’m just starting nysc, do you think it will be nice to apply around June since I’ll be passing out by next year September? Or I should just submit my application early next year?

Also, how does one apply?

Furthermore, any resource you could help me with. (Email: lajid401@gmail.com) Thanks for the McKinsey one you sent the other time ( one needs to have multiple options, at least one might be successful).

Please pardon my ignorance and my too many questions, have been following you with my other moniker since your McKinsey experience days on nairaland so I thought I should be keeping up with you since you’ve gone through these processes and have enough experience on them.

Modified: @scholar94 haven’t heard from you. Kindly assist me with the above.

Good evening bro. Sorry for my late response. For KPMG, just be on look out for their GT application window. They can put it out anytime. Also I will advise you start going through GMAT/shl now if you aren't so good in test. That could be a big barrier. Also I will advise you apply as soon as the application window open. It doesn't matter whether you are or not done with nysc. All these big 4 don't ask for nysc cert until you are close to getting offer and most time the recruitment process could span for more than 6 months.

For the resources, I don't know if I can still access some of them on my system again. I'm only sure I still have MBB related materials and have sent that to you already

@Scholar94 how far your MBB journey? Have you joined any yet? I'm looking to get more information about BCG in particular.
Evening bro/sis. No. I'm not with any of them. I'm with one of the big 4. On BCG matter, we can speak outside here. DM.

Good evening boss, trust you’re great. Please I want to know when next aptitude test will be coming up. Currently doing my nysc and will like to start preparing for the process. Thanks
Yea. I'm fine. Thank you. I hope you are too.
If you're referring to KPMG process, I don't think they have any specific period for that. Their recruitment is all year round. But I feel it's not too early to start preparing

By great, do you mean technical questions?

If yes, that is very tricky and dependent on the interviewer.

I'd suggest you ask simple and relatable questions. You're applying for a GT role so they're not expecting you to know too much..
thanks for this. I don't mean asking technical or uncleared one. I mean a question that is well thoughtful, simple but unique. Not the usual question that can be easily find on line... That's my opinion tho

I really don't know how to start but will still start somehow

With the hope that it will help someone, I am going to share this for anyone trying pwc next year.

There are 3/4 stages in PwC recruitment process. 4 only when there will be a verification test which I believe is unlikely to be included next year too with the current wave of Covid 19.

Online test stage

The first stage is online shl proctored test. There are numerous materials available on this for free and please don't let anyone deceive you to pay for it. For me I've never failed the test in all of my 3 trials. So what I think I did consistently was an intense practice. I practised a lot. In this my last trial, I did all of the questions 2 times before I took the main exam. So that made it easy for me to interpret all of the questions faster and answer. So I was confident to score almost everything in both my verbal and numerical.
Summarily, to nail the test stage all you need is an intense practice. Nothing more. Also I must say, never rely on answers provided in some of those pq. More than 50% of their answers are wrong. So bottom line is you have to sit down your self and solve or look for someone to teach.

OPQ stage

Here there's been a lot of argument as to the right approach to follow. But the only I advice I will give you is "be your self and be consistent with your choice". If you follow this, I'm 90% sure you won't fail opq. that is all. But the big question is how do you be your self and consistent? You can only be your self when you know your self. So just before you take the test, reminisce on who you think you are are. What your personality like. With this in mind, you will find it easy to be consistent with your choice.

Interview stage.

This is the biggest hurdle for me as I'm not that fantastic at interviewing. As a matter of fact, I have failed at interview stage of so many great firms. So if you are like me, you know you have a lot of work to do for you to scale true PwC interview.

So what did I do differently this year.

1. I made use of my phone camera to practise. This help alot to get myself familiar with web/online base interview.
2. I spelled out all of the questions I could find here even before we get to interview stage and write my story to answer each and everyone of them. I'll share the compilation of the interview questions here
3. I consulted people who are already in the firm to give me practice interview. This is the biggest difference between my PwC interview prep and others that I have been doing (with the exception of McKinsey and BCG process). A million thanks to Lonewolf, Bricks92 and Benque for those wonderful practice interviews.

4. I pray fervently. If you are a Muslim like me, make use of the last 10 days of the next year Ramadan judiciously. If they rank us by how much will pray, I think I will be on top 1-3%.

Also yes, despite all of my prep, there were still a no of things I felt I didn't do well like the 5 minutes presentation (I was a little bit nervous at the beginning) and some other little things. So the bottom line is, PwC isnt looking for perfect candidates. Most of us that got in are not perfect!!

I think this is all I have for now, if I still remember anything, I will always come back here and share.

Pls pardon all of my typos,I am just too lazy at proofreading grin grin

Thank you Soar19... I never know you are female... I'm sorry that you didn't get in. All I will say is never give up. I'm sure you too will celebrate soon.
