A couple of times I have been in this shoes but none of the times has made me to score less than B as a medical student. Here I will tell you my secret which CHATGPT and how I manipulate it to help myself during exam preparation.

Things I do with CHATGPT for exam preparation:

1. Use CHATGPT to revise my MCQs past questions: instead of struggling with how to get the correct answers and also looking up for different books that will explain the reason why a certain option is the answer, I just bring in ChatGPT to help. I will copy the question and options into the ChatGPT search bar and it will provide me with the correct answer and the reason why such is the correct answer. This has show to increase my speed and understanding of each question including the concepts involved.
2. Use CHATGPT to answer past essay question: if you are preparing for exam that will require you to write essay questions then you need ChatGPT. However, before ChatGPT, make your outline then ask ChatGPT to write for you using the outline.
3. Pay attention to some of the concepts that ChatGPT will be highlighting while answering your questions. You will need to understand those concepts in case they come up in exam.

4. ChatGPT may not be correct all the time but it has reasonable level of reliability.

Everyone wants to have a good score, whether you intend to study medicine or you want to study microbiology. You need a good score to have a rest of mind that you will gain admission. While achieving this may not be far from reality, it is important to know that there are secrets that are hidden in the faces of many students preparing for the exam; however, with a good plan, one can ace through just like the saying that if one fails to plan, such person plans to fail.

I am among the best-performing students in JAMB and in the best position to tell some of the ways that will lead to huge success in the Joint Admission Matriculation Board exam. While it is important to acknowledge God and his mercy which helped me to triumph against all odds, it is important to note the role played by being intentional about how successful you want to be. Below are three (3) fundamental steps that can make you score 350+ in JAMB in 2025:

Active Learning and Regular Revision:
As a science student, I was intentional about having one of the best grades in JAMB so I started early to prepare for it. I prepared for the exam more than the way I prepared for my SSCE. I had already read at least two textbooks in each of the four subjects I wrote in the exam. After reading those texts, the next thing I did was to engage actively with the material by summarizing notes, creating mind maps, and teaching concepts to others. My other target was to ensure good retention without doing much cramming work. Therefore, I had to regularly review what I've learned to reinforce my understanding and retention.

Practice with Past Papers:
When I could identify and answer questions thrown at me easily, my next goal was to understand the format of the exam. I needed to hit this exam once by all means, therefore, I looked for the best possible means to achieve this. So I started working on past exam papers to familiarize myself with the exam format and identify common question types. This helps in improving time management and understanding the examiner's expectations. Luckily, I had these online resources where I was able to download FREE JAMB PAST QUESTIONS into my phone. The good thing about the past questions is that I can open them anywhere with my Android phone. I was able to read the past questions even in church. People could think I am engaging on social media chatting but no! I was busy with my preparation using the past questions.

Effective Time Management:
The first day I tried to attempt the past questions, I discovered that I was using more than 60 minutes for each year. The first week of my attempt to skim through the past questions on the subjects of interest took more time than expected. This made me create a study schedule that allocates time for each subject, ensuring I cover all questions within the allotted time. Improvement within a short time became obvious and hope became stronger than I have gotten what it takes to defeat my fear.

Healthy Lifestyle and Stress Management:
As I was busy reading for my exam, I was also busy ensuring that I did not sleep late. I was also sure to eat at the right time. I planned my time in such a way that I was ready to do anything without losing the time allotted to my preparation for JAMB. I maintained a balanced diet, got enough sleep, and exercised regularly to keep my mind and body in optimal condition. Practice relaxation techniques like deep breathing or meditation to manage stress and stay calm during the exam.

These were among the things I was doing and with time, it was glaring to me that I have metamorphosized into someone that will be successful in the exam. The good thing is that in the exam hall, I didn't struggle or think about most questions twice.
