“BALLY RALLY OUTREACH: Part of what we learned while at @bigbrothernaija2017 house was the importance of giving back to our communities. Being from the north (Kaduna), I have been directly and indirectly affected by the civil unrest which has plagued this part of the country for numerous years now. Conflict and insurgence has led to a massive displacement of our brothers and sisters bringing about the establishment of Internally Displaced People’s (IDP) camps to cater for this large population of people all around the geographical zone. I was privileged enough to visit one of these camps on Wednesday located at Fufore local government Adamawa state and I must say that’s the most fun I’ve had in a while. The children in the camp (mostly orphans) brought us so much joy as we laughed and danced together, forgetting all about the hardships they were facing at the time. Please join us at the @BallyRally Outreach as we continue to discover more ways to bring joy and help to these children, women and men who have ended up victims of this crisis. Australian senator, Larissa Waters, has made history after she became the first politician to breastfeed a baby in the senate chamber. Larissa, a co-deputy leader for the Australian Greens party on Tuesday returned to the Senate for the first time since giving birth to her baby girl, Alia Joy, earlier this year.

During a vote in the chamber, the 40-year-old proudly took off her bra and cover her breast with a white towel as she breastfed her baby girl in public.

Taking to her Facebook page, the excited mother wrote: ‘I am so proud that my daughter Alia is the first baby to be breastfed in the federal parliament! And we need more family-friendly and flexible workplaces, and affordable childcare, for everyone.’

One Africa Music Fest host Banky W alongside the headliners Cassper Nyovest, Victoria Kimani, and Falz arrived at London Heathrow Airport this morning. The stars arrived for the first ever One Africa Music Fest taking place in London this Saturday, May 13.
