I learnt them from my multi-millionaire mentor Toyin Omotosho in his best selling book Living Breathing Cash Machine ( To get the book, check the link in the Comments) So let's go 1. Understand money - this is practically the first thing you must learn if you ever want to have money and this is exactly the number one reason why 99% of the world population are broke. Without a rudimentary understanding of what money is and how it works you will continue to be broke. So what exactly is money and how can you learn more about it? Money is simply a means of exchange for value. This means money is a system designed to exchange value between two parties. Simply put, money = value. If you don't have money or very little money it means you don't have or exchange enough value. Value ranges from physical to abstract. This means value can be real physical goods or abstract goods such as information products. Value also changes from person to person. If you want to have more money, give more value. Build a Money Minded Mindset/ Environment This is the second thing you must understand and do if you are going to be wealthy. All through our lives we've been taught that money is The root of All evil. This is the worst thing ever told to young people. Why? Because it's subconsciously makes us feel bad for doing whatever we can legally to get money. If you're going to get rich in 2022 you must develop a mindset that attracts money and create an environment that is receptive to money. So how can you go about doing this? First you must watch what goes into your five senses with special emphasis on your eyes and ears. Remove all crap that talks about money being bad, stay away from negative things like the news and feed your eyes and ears on positive, money minded videos and books designed to help grow your money mindset. Next you must train your mind to think about making money. Remember we become what we think about most of the time. Lastly, choose friends and stay in an environment that encourages your growth. 3. Grab opportunities - One major difference between the rich and the poor is that the rich grab opportunities even when it is not looking perfect. The rich see trends and opportunities and latch on to them quickly while the poor are generally sluggish and procrasting when it comes to opportunities until these opportunities are gone and they regret later. They find every excuse in the book to justify them not making a move to grab that opportunity. If you are going to be wealthy in 2022 you must learn to spot and grab opportunities as soon as they appear. One major trend that is making hundreds of Nigerians millionaires today is affiliate marketing. Here you simply don't have to create any product all you need to do is recommend someone else's product to people who need them and can afford them and you get paid a hefty commission when these people buy. With this business model you can start to earn from as little as 25k a week to as much as ₦250k in a week. Become a Student of Markets - This is from the late Gary Harbert. Gary has been known as the Godfather of Copywriting. He was able to use his skills to write thousands of advertisement that brought in billions of dollars. When it comes to advertising this is simply the most important skill. To be a student of markets means that you know how to sell, how to advertise, and most importantly how to be able to spot what people are actually buying not what they say they are buying. Humans rarely do what they say. If you are going to be rich in 2022 to find out what the market actually are buying and find a way to give it to them. 5. Leverage the Internet to Sell - The internet has made it possible for you to find customers that will never have walked into your shop. It has also made it possible for you to find and sell products that you don't own to people that you will never meet. In other words it has made business very easy. Your job is to learn how to use the internet to find a proven system that works and puts your effort into making money from it. Proven Systems like affiliate Marketing or e-commerce are a good start. 6. Leverage Other People's Money, Time And Energy There is a limit to what you can do with your own time or your own money. If you are going to be wealthy you must learn to use other people's time, money and energy. For example if you need to advertise a product and you have a proven system such as e-commerce or affiliate marketing, you can borrow money from friends and family and advertise your business and pay back when the profit comes. 7. Network with Other High Income earners - This is really important because there are some things you will never know from reading a book or watching videos until you meet people who have achieved it one on one. Constantly meeting and spending time with high achievers is a fast track to success. In 2022, make it a priority to network with and meet high-class individuals. While you might be lucky to meet a few for free such as at seminars and other conferences, for the majority of them you might have to pay your way to get access to groups where they are. 8. Ruthless implementation & Prayer - This is the chief cornerstone of success. It's easy to start something and once it's not working you abandon it onto the next project, but that won't bring success. Sometimes you will have to ruthlessly implement for months before seeing any results. The trick is to develop massive staying power and keep taking the right action. This post focuses on Affiliate Marketing. It's no doubt that starting affiliate marketing in Nigeria especially on platforms such as Expartnaire is quite costly. And one thing that stops a lot of people is the cost of starting such a business In this post I will show you three ways you can raise money easily to start your own affiliate marketing Business 1. SAVE - This is the most common option and you will hear a lot of people saying they are saving. But, this option hardly ever works. Why? Because money hardly ever stays still. Money is currency and its meant to be in circulation . To be used not saved. The moment you start saving money things will definitely come up that will require immediate attention and you will need to touch that money. So while this option is good for some people it is not always the best option especially when you are not earning enough that allows you to save consistently. Basically if you are earning below ₦50K it will be very difficult for you to save ₦50K. You will have to be very disciplined and frugal for you to be able to save enough to buy the product. Also while you are saving, the price of the product keeps going up. This means if you've started saving because it's selling for ₦50K by the time you have ₦50K, it might be ₦55K or ₦60K. In the end you might lose interest and give up on your goal to become an affiliate marketer. 2. PARTNER WITH SOMEONE - For many reasons this is not a very good option however it works. Just like any business some people are not interested in doing the work, some people are only interested in making money if you find people like this you can partner with them you can you decide on how you can share the profits. However, like any other business when it comes to money there is always the problem of greed. When the money starts coming in, different problems arise and this leads to disputes. But then if you are very desperate (and can break down any wall to get what you want) like I was and don't have option number 1 or 3 on your plate then this could be a chance for you to get on the platform, make some sales and get your own account. If you will pick this option ensure you trust the person. You gerrit? 3. BORROW FROM FRIENDS AND FAMILY - This is practically the best option. A lot of the affiliates you know today used this option and they are thriving. This is the best way to start a business apart from using personal savings. Borrowing from friends and family puts you under less pressure than borrowing from banks or other financial institutions (which I will never recommend). A lot of people I have spoken to always shoot down their own ability to borrow by saying no one will borrow them - this is really untrue. Most of your friends want to see your success and if they have they will borrow you once they see your seriousness and belief in what you're trying to do. But it starts with you. First you must be completely sold that this is what you want and you are determined to get it by tooth or nail. You must be completely sold that it is the best thing for you - your way out of financial crisis. If you are not completely sold you cannot convince another person. Secondly you must create a payback plan on how you'll repay them for lending you. If possible, include some bonus or interest. Trust me. If you WANT it BADLY ENOUGH, YOU'LL FIGURE OUT A WAY TO GET IT. Today I woke up feeling abit down and like I wasnt doing enough to achieve my goals So I decided to listen to a podcast - an audio by Georgian Benta online. Think online radio. Luckily what I found was a topic on the single most important thing to do every morning you wake up. The author saw gratitude as the very first thing to do when you wake up - before you check your phone, messages or return calls. And it made me realise just how much I've been ungrateful in the last few months. I've completely forgotten that I have blessings. Lots of them. Starting from the fact that everyday I'm not among the 150,000 people who didn't make it that day. That's a scary huge number, but I'm alive. And it's something to be grateful for. I also remembered something I used to do some months back but I have ignored. I usually write, list or state loudly 10 things I'm grateful for that day and it always made me feel happy. So I'm sharing this to encourage you too. You might be feeling like everything sucks and the world hates you, but if you cut off the distraction and found just 10 things you're greateful for, you'd feel a whole lot better. To top up the cake with some icing, anytime you feel bad here's a tip to change that - get productive. Productivity is the basis of morale. Get yourself doing something, be it taking a walk or cleaning your living space or even deleting old files from your computer / phone ( I love keeping my files and folders arranged, and it annoyes me when I see people with 1000 files on their desktop. 1. You don't have caring mentorship - mentorship is really important when it comes to achieving your goals. If you have a mentor who listens to you, cares about you and takes out personal time to show you what he or she is doing to make progress and what you are doing wrong, you are more likely to succeed faster than if you were trying to figure things out on your own. The reason why a lot of affiliates suffer is because they desire beat the system by simply paying lower to buy the affiliate access without getting any training or mentorship. This will not work. When becoming an affiliate get a mentor who actually cares about your progress. 2. You haven't gone through the training - This is for the second set of people - not those who cut corners - those who are too lazy to go through the sales training. You have the video and everything but you never sit down to learn how to sell. You simply believe because you have bought the course, automatically, people should be running to you and giving you money. It doesn't work that way you have to take the training, learn and apply what you have learnt. You have to put in the work. It's not a get-rich-quick scheme. It's a mega-money system only if you put in the work and learn how it works. 3. You don't have an amazing offer - This is what separates the big boys who are making sales in the hundreds and making millions in a week from the herd who are not making sales or making poor sales. The big boys have strong offers that the herd don't have. They have found a way to induce mafia offers into their sales. This makes people who come to them willing to listen and buy from them. Chances are this aren't the first time you've heard about affiliate marketing. But you haven't bought why? One of the reasons could be that you weren't convinced, or because it didn't look juicy enough. If you're going to make sales as an affiliate create mafia offers around your sales pitch. 4. You don't take content creation and list building serious - This is another area where the big boys outclass others. The big boys who are making hundreds of sales are always creating new content that brings new prospects to their list and are constantly growing their email or WhatsApp list and making sales everyday. If you're going to make sales with affiliate marketing, learn how to churn out valuable content regularly and build your list. Nothing will give you more sales than building your list. 5. You don't nurture your prospects - It's not enough to build your list. Yes if you take list-building serious you will get sales here and there, but if you really want to kill it, nurture your list by sending them regular messages and following them up from time to time. Generally that is your job as an affiliate marketer - you recommend helpful products to people who need it and you can afford it. In April I resigned from my job as a customer care agent to continue my school. Life quickly got tough. Since I lived in a good part of town, Nepa bills �, water bills �, gas ⛽, transportation � and other bills came pouring in like a flood. Permit me to say it wasn't easy.
