While the OP has many good points I find a fault in this piece because in it all, it has managed to remove the failure of GEJ from the equation.

The OP has managed to remove the fact GEJ presented PMB with a near dead horse and expecsts him to be most efficient with it.

I have my reservations about the budget and I'm sure that the men and women of the NASS would challenge it and have it reworked.

But to try and allude that the current road we are travelling is not much better than where GEJ brought us is grand deception.

GEJ primed this country for failure, depleted the national reserve at a time of prosperity hiding behind the governors who called for a split of the money, he did not save but rather allowed theft and corruption.

Buhari needs to move but we must equally condemn Jonathan for the evil he embodied

On the matter of devaluing the Naira, like many economists who have agued against it , I see no reason as it does not assist our goals of import substitution.
