The fact remains that we were buried in this mess by clueless Jonathan and things would have been much worse if the looting and incompetence were allowed to continue by his re-election. Thank goodness.
It's impossible to expect someone who failed when oil was sold for $110/barrel to be able to manage the country when it is selling for less than $30/barrel when it's our main source of revenue, forex and support for controlling the exchange rate. please give ursef a round of applause. you have won the must IBERIBE man in this forum. |

Politics › Re: Buhari Is The Best Nigeria President Ever by sdindan: 3:40am On Feb 21, 2016 |
GudPpleG8Nation: Stupidly, some illiterates and blind folded people of this nations are blaming the present government for the economic downfall in the country, increase in price of goods, increase in exchange rate, out burst of diseases. Let me ask you, when last did u listen to news or watch your television? Also, do you know the initial state of the economy and finance of this country in the past administration? Let me clear you now, the excess loot in the past administration, the influx of dollars for campaign and other atrocities, our urge for foreign goods, importation dependence are the cause of this nightmare we are experiencing. If they had done the right thing, Nigeria is suppose to be the center of attraction for other countries and continents. But, greediness is the order of the day for our politicians. Some mind blinded eastern niggas and clamoring for a state which will never exist instead of them to castigate their own ethnic leaders of their attitude and crave for excess and illegal wealth. For this country to be good and better for both of us, the man at the helm of affairs is working earnestly to recover looted funds just as we see everyday and listen to. Imagine, the extent of corruption made our immediate past leaders to store money in the soak away pit, store money in the ceiling, pack our money abroad to develop other countries, spent dollars and other hard currencies for campaign by spraying it around. This is an eye sore..#may God help Buhari to bring sanity to all the arms of government. Its prayers we should be praying for a selfless leader in the hot seat now. If you which to blame anybody for the downfall of our economy today, blame your past leaders....2016, Nigeria will regain her integrity by Gods grace and we shall enjoy the good of the land. Amen.. God bless Nigeria

Elosky20: my brother he also made common sense, selling pop corn at 1000 naira is nt gud, especially when they are made in naija. it means he is still forcing people to patronise the foreign ones. naija product should be affordable b4 we can think of buying it, that is why u still see smuggled rice in the market they are relatively cheap compared to local rice. okay! pls dont go to that cinema again. watch cartoon network in ur house with ur siblings is more cheaper. |

ashjay001: Competent & Courageous Minister Has This to Say: Dayo Orolu WROTE: I was at a CFO Forum earlier today where the Minsiter of Finance, Ms Kemi Adeosun made a presentation. My key take-away: 1. The FG payroll bill in January 2016 was 5billion naira less than that of December 2015. Reason: many fraudulent ghost accounts had been delisted. Plan is to achieve 10bilion monthly savings. 2. 400 accounts opened in a Bank sameday and put on the payroll are now inactive due to BVN. (Some Bank Managers will be transfered to Kuje in no time). 3. Govt plans to reduce domestic borrowing to fund budget deficit as to 'force' banks to lend to the productive sector. 50% of 2016 budget borrowing will be from external sources. 4. Govt spending on Stationery and office consumables in 2015 was 18.5billion while total spend on capital expenditure was 18.9billion. (See why we keep getting poorer). Govt is re-negotiating all contracts of supply for more efficie 5. 30% Capex budget in 2016 is to stimulate the economy. 6. The Minister said her outfit to the forum cost her just two thousand naira. (Message: Ladies, please drop Gucci suits for local materials). She also queried why schol pupils are forced to wear socks daily which we don't produce locally. 7. On looted funds, one (just one!!!) former public official is negotiating with FG to return $1billion (equivalent of 199billion naira at CBN rate) of stolen fund. This is just one of many. 8. She wants to be the first Finance Minister that wouldn't want to know or care to know the price of crude oil. Implying - they plan to build a self-sustaining economy. #MayBuhariSucceed Brown envelope journalist quote me whenever $1 = N1 |
