Opinions are like assholes, everybody has one.
Omobola121:
Really? All farms listed are Ponzi schemes? You've worked with numerous of them? En en...are you serious right now or you just feel like talking too?

The fact that you don't even understand what Ponzi schemes are is a concern. Investing in someone's business is never bad. We are only dealing with people that are not trustworthy. Farms investment is not like MBA( using 500k to get 1milla within days) when you invest in a farm, your capital works and generate profit for you at the end of the days/months you agreed on and I have never heard of any agric firm that will pay double of the money invested.

I'm just thinking on your behalf, is it not better if you can get a stable job rather than jumping from one Ponzi firm to another ( you're even proud to say it out "numerous of them"wink

Having said that, don't just come here to do " I too know" like you're advising nursery peeps. Help us also by telling us the kind of investment we can do and before you say start one business, business is not for everyone please.
Gfab20:

I love your composure bro. All these people thinking they can cry more than the bereaved. If you are trying to advise us, we will know. But if you have another hidden agenda against some agritech coy then you are on your own. People making baseless accusations just to create panic.
Dottune:
None of the farms you listed in this your post are even listed here, I doubt anyone invests with them here.
Isn't it interesting you registered on the 15th of January, 2021 just to drop these hot takes that doesn't hold water?
People here are not kids and have done due diligence by visiting and inspecting most of the farms on the list and have seen and or used the farm produce. That you've worked with farms without farm lands or produce doesn't mean all farms are the same.
So calm down bro
Acidosis:

He has no name to mention. He hasn't worked for or with any of the A-list farms, hasn't visited any either.

He's only here to discredit MummyIMadeIt's list. He has a purpose and that is to ensure that we all take and see all Agritechs as equal and same. He has a problem with the classification/categorization.

Acidosis:

So this here is why you generalize foolishly?? You want your Mallam in the market to cut #2000 pieces of Farmcenta's cow for you? Do you know the meaning of value chain?

You want that cat fish seller in the market to sell Eatrich's catfish to you or the small scale retailer in your neighborhood to sell bazuze's rice to you?

Are you aware that many people here don't know the so called farms you listed above? Since I have never eaten Valentine's chicken, that means Valentine chicken is a scam organization?? This is the kind of ignorance you have shown here.

Thank you for your trust in Agritect companies. All Agritect investment companies mentioned here are legit and paying well. Don't be afraid of investing your money into them. Atleast we still have mugus here that we can cash out from without stress. Don't listen to any one telling you these farms are not legit. They are all paying, contact me to book a space on any of these farms. We love your money, I am yet to complete the money for my G Wagon. Please come and invest with us. Bring all your money to us. Your money is safe with. Don't listen to that guy over there.
Since una nowan hear word Agri-Devil go chop una money. We will use your money to get rich and u won't do anything about it. Someone should request for my referral code.

If these are farm Ventures as u have foolishly claimed answer these questions.
Where are their products? Who do they sell to?

Have u heard of Ajanla Farms, Animal Care Services Konsult, Valentine chicken, Amo Byng e.t.c? Can these claimed farms here say they are same level as the above?

All farms mentioned above are Ponzi Schemes, they only use farm as cover up to what they do. They collect from Peter to pay Paul. Most of them collapse last year cause during Covid 19 people refused to subscribe to their plans. So they had no money to pay old subscribers. They consistently take new subscription to be able to pay old ones. I have worked with numerous of them. I pity people who are still paying money to these Ponzi Schemes called farms.

The Blue and Green Lists are getting shorter and shorter, while the Scam Lists are getting longer and longer.

FarmBuddy is looking more and more like a scam. They don't reply WhatsApp messages. Got a mail on January 1st that everything will be sorted out on or before January 20th. No communication since then.

Investment / Re: Digital Agriculture Investment platforms/options in Nigeria by Payfarmer(m): 12:02pm On Jan 16
Dear Investor,

Since our company was started four years ago, we have strived on your behalf to give appreciable returns on your investments.
As you may note, payments were made as at when due. In the current climate, we are not protected from difficulties in the business environment, yet, we are endeavouring to make a successful return for your investments.

The downturn in our business is due to COVID19 Pandemic and decimation of Pig Farms because of  African Swine Fever (ASF) Outbreak in Nigeria which started Mid-2020. Please see this link: African swine fever 'decimating' Nigerian pigs - BBC News.

ASF is highly contagious. It spreads easily through contact. This was the reason as to why our Pig Farm was protected from other pig farmers and buyers. As you may expect, consumers became afraid to buy pigs because of fear of transmission of the disease. Normally, pigs are sold into the market when they are 9 months old.

We were unable to sell the pigs at our farm. Sales were lost. Since our pigs were not sold, we had the compounded problem of feeding and veterinary expenditures. With no sale proceeds, we had to use our reserves to fund payments as investors’ payments are important to our company.

This is the fire-fighting that we embarked upon, for the last year.As you are no doubt aware, the sluggish business environment persists in our country. Despite, we are making best endeavour for the success of this Farm business which your investments has made possible. Aside from the Pig Farm, there is the Fish Farm and Pepper Farm. We harvested and distributed sale proceeds to all investors of the 2020 Cycle, successfully.

This is the situation in the investment in the Pig Farm: Remember the BBC report above explains what has been happening to Pig Farms since Mid-2020. Despite, Payments to Investors have only been delayed for no more than 4 months. Currently, 80% of Investors have been paid. We are working very hard to pay the outstanding balance. As for payments due in December 2020 and January 2021, we hope all of our endeavour shall result in payment by no later than the end of next month, February 2021.

As Investors, your continued support has made possible the success of this business, by extension, our company. We remain grateful for the confidence imposed in us.

As a next step, we have created a dedicated email address, WhatsApp contact and social media direct message for Pig Farm Investors to foster better communication and payment resolution.

The contact is as follows:

Goldvest shouldn't be under the performing farm, they have currently paused payment of capital and ROI. People who initiated withdrawal haven't been paid for weeks now.

Can we pls look for another subheading for Goldvest. They aren't performing in my own opinion. My investment matured on 30th Dec, 2020 and till now ,I haven't received neither capital nor ROI. Likewise many others as seen on the thread.

Leaving them on the ''Performing but under observation'' is likely to misinform new investors.(my opinion though)

Good morning house. Please I need some info on bazuze. They are on the green list and have no history of default as regards payment.

Who is the founder/ceo? I can't find anything online as regards the management team.

I do hope their assets on ground match the funds they usually raise.

"Agrictech is a high risk investment and investors may lose all or some of their funds when they participate."
Some may think this sounds harsh, but I don't agree. I think the point is missing that even those performing well today may fail tomorrow. These companies say as much in their terms, that the investment itself is "high-risk" and they are under no obligation to pay investors.
Don't let's ever make the mistake of communicating the feeling that these investments are safe, because honestly they are not. This is made even worse by the fact that investors don't actually own the farms, i.e. they own no assets when they make these investments.

As a result, all cards still lie with the firms themselves. I foresee more people losing money in the future, and that's only going to be with the firms supposedly performing well now, not with the ones that have had issues, cos nobody will invest in those ones anyways. This is just my take. Investors need to be better educated

I think yazga tried to quote one of the old posts but didn't do it right.
This is an old list.

How did the green list increase exponentially.

Also Payfarmer has defaulted and has issues.
I can’t remember us agreeing for it to be on the green list.

This is solely based on recent performances as attested to by Nairalanders and by no means a go ahead order/permit to invest with any of the above agrictech firms, hence further investigation should be carried out by the investor until convinced otherwise.

Yours humble Investor

Thanks
