Comparing the issue in Lagos State House of Assembly to a nearly two year of political war that was already involving bombing of government properties is the height of foolishness!

Fool tell me anytime in river state that there were no bombing of pipelines. Why didn't government declare state of emergency in Lagos during end sars?

Lets compare lagos and Rivers state issues
1. The matter was between speaker and governor, state House of assembly was not demolished or pipeline was bombed and nobody came online to threaten violence in the state.

2. Rivers state waring fractions were invited by the president just the way lagos state was invited. But lagos matter was resolved immediately unlike Rivers fubara went back and broke whatever agreement that was reached and still granted interview telling the media that he was deceived into settling.

3. The violence in the lagos ended in the state assembly no state owned property was demolished. Budget was not read among 4 people. No disruption of government activities. Governor was not making careless statements like fubara.

He was not totally wrong. The security reports/ intelligence available to him could have prompted him. The experts consulted before arriving at the decision know what most of us don't know. Unfortunately, security/ intelligence reports can't be shared publicly

The state assembly complex was collapsing so needed to be rebuilt which the governor is doing, pipelines have blown from time immemorial and I don't know why you attributes that to the governor, Agbotos have been causing havoc in Lagos state like every other state, the 27 lawmakers who defected automatically lost their seats like what happened in plateau state which the supreme Court ruled. Tinubu needs river state for his reelection since North have abandoned him.

There was no bombing of national assets and no threat of burning down the state and country by indegenes or politicians. There was no burning of the Assembly. When the President called them to order, they complied, but when the President mediated in Rivers crisis, he was called different unprintable names.

Lastly, Tinubu’s SoE is to protect Fubara from impeachment. If not for the SoE, Fubara would have been impeached overnight in one beer parlour since he has burnt down the State Assembly complex. So Tinubu actually checkmated the Assembly by the SoE which had stopped the planned impeachment. Now, Fubara can come back in 6 months, but if Tinubu had waited for about 48 hours, the kindergarten governor would have been impeached and he will not have the opportunity of coming back in 6 months which Tinubu just granted him.

I'm not supporting bad thing Fubara showed no signs of someone you can trust, it's their battle not ours. If he is not smart enough to deal with Wike and Tinubu, he is not smart enough to be Rivers state governor.

Keep setting bad examples. Maybe when a governor criticizes a president, the president will sponsor chaos in his state and declare state of emergency and suspend the governor. You won't stay in power forever. It will surely turn and we will all see it.

I am an Obidient, but I would like to see Atiku/Obi ticket. Obi should swallow his pride and deputize Atiku. A common northerner doesn't know of any agreement and would hardly vote for a southerner and an Igbo man. An igbo man can not be president from opposition. If Obi emerges, Tinubu will sponsor a northern candidate like that will collect votes that he won't get. My opinion. The collective aim is to boot Tinubu out of office

I like this comment. Atiku was naive in the last election. He would not have allowed Obi to leave PDP, and he would have ceded PDP structure to Wike and the G-5 governors but instead he stuck with Ayu with no political value while banking on the cabals to deliver him. If he had made peace with Wike, He would have been occupying Aso Rock by now. I am sure he won't make such mistakes. They should form a merger, where Atiku will be the flag bearer and Obi the deputy. An Igbo man can not be president of Nigeria from Opposition. I am an Igbo guy from Enugu, residing in Anambra and have not gone out of south east. They have to also form a merger and not coalition. Anything outside this will automatically play in the hands of tinubu once again.
