If Fubara gets APC ticket, forget Wike won't succeed. The only chance Wike has is to do everything to stop him from becoming the APC flag bearer in River state. Anything outside this is an own goal to Wike. |

AMINDA: Fubara can not become the godfather of a fly. He's that weak. He's counting on federal backing to fight Wike. In the end, Tinubu will weigh his chances and back one of them making the other to go rogue. Wike is already preparing for that by prepping up another political party to fly his candidate. Whether APC/Tinubu will choose to oppose him or not depends on whether he wants to risk the ire of Wike and get his dirty linens washed in public. When Wike says agreement is agreement, he is not referring to Fubara. When you are River state governor you are automatically powerful, it doesn't matter who's there but the office. Fubara won't go down without a fight and if he knows the kind of power he weird I don't think that Wike will stand a chance. I am supporting neither of the two. I am enjoying the political chess game going on in River state. I believe that whoever the president backs in 2027 will come out on top and I see him pitching his tent with the governor after all his reelection isn't guaranteed and he needs Rivers to consolidate to power. My one cent shaa. |

Aryafucksfinaly: The last time I checked, Wike has been keeping his end of the so-called "peace deal" out of sheer respect for PBAT. Fubara has got no viable options, and if left to himself would have been impeached with a snap of the finger. And you kniw what will not happen? Heaven will not fall (in Wike's voice) Do you think Fubara has not been provoked? Part is the peace deal is that Fubara won't go for a second term and you expect Fubara to chicken out like Ambode? Not everyone is a coward like the people of the waste. Fubara would rather fight dirty and lose than folding his hands and be pushed out like Ambode. Let's enjoy it as it plays in River state. Whatever be the outcome of the power tussle in River state is cool by me. I am enjoying the whole movie |

Anyway, let it not be as if there are no oppositions on the ballot papers. At least, make dem shake body small. Let's leave politics and talk about guvernance my dear. How far has Tinubu done in his first 2 years in office. Are you cool with his administration so far. Keep your zombie brain and answer this as a concerned Nigerian. |

Politics › Re: Failed Plot By Aides To Impose Ahmad Lawan As APC Candidate - Buhari by searchlight: 3:06pm On Dec 16, 2025 |
franchasng: The people that made Tinubu President are:
1.) Aisha Buhari; she kept using emotional blackmail to work on Buhari not to disappoint Tinubu that helped him become President in 2015.
Tinubu donated 20million to Aisha Buhari's book launch in 2021/2022.
2.) Mallam El Rufai; without El Rufai, Tinubu wouldn't have become APC Presidential flag bearer to start with.
El Rufai convinced other Northern Governors to allow Presidency go to South for equity.
3.) INEC Chairman Yakubu Mahmoud; this is the man that crowned Tinubu President by announcing him winner at whew hours when all Nigerians were deep asleep. It was a shock even to Tinubu and his family when Yakubu kept to their secret agreement and announced him winner against all odds
4.) Buhari; his indifference and later input helped crown Tinubu President. It made INEC Chairman to do what he did because they felt Buhari fully endorsed Tinubu after Buhari voted in Daura and showed his thumb printed voter card that he has voted for Tinubu to the Press and the whole world, which is more than Presidential endorsement on election day and a complete breaking of Nigeria's secret ballot electoral law.
That Buhari's singular unscrupulous action/endorsement on election day sent a strong message to INEC Chairman and all government actors that the incumbent President Buhari has endorsed Tinubu to succeed him as President and they all acted accordingly. Elru Fai and the northern governors played the major role, otherwise Buhari and his aids wanted Lawan to replace him |

Look at what's happening all around Africa and Nigeria my home country, you will see that the problem is always bad leaders. Bad leadership gives room for uprising and separatism.
Africans must rise above hate and tribalism and hold the leaders accountable or we risk being enslaved again in this 21st century. If Tinubu is the best we have, we deserve all we are getting. |
