According to controversial journalist and blogger, Kemi Olunloyo in her new social media rant, LAUTECH students, the University jointly owned by Oyo and Osun States Governments, are foolish for disrespecting her wish to become the next Governor of Oyo State.
Kemi Olunloyo who went on a new rant after the LAUTECH students took to their social media to scorn her after she made the announcement revealing her intentions to join the Oyo state gubernatorial race, wrote;
“Lautech students are busy abusing and disrespecting me on their Instagram college pages. You are being used as political baits and you don’t seem to notice it. Lautech students are smart but not intelligent. I’m not a soft leader, Im a tough leader cos I want the best for you.
No need to vote for me, APC and PDP are waiting for your vote. Aregbesola and Ajimobi are outgoing governors. We have London and Paris club refunds that could be infused into this mess. Aregbe should hand over Lautech to #Oyo state and Ajimobi should infuse part of our N7B #London club refund into it. Students need to know what’s going on and what caused it.
Instead all I see are Instagram slayers, prostitutes on the ground and Yahoo boys all over. Shout Out to Bisola my neighbor’s daughter who is sewing outfits while school is closed. Respect authority. If I become governor, I plan to employ under 40 yo graduates in my cabinet. When u are abusing me now, I will just hire Unibadan students only. SMH. Don’t burn your bridges. You may need to cross it later. At the rate it’s going, the FEDS will take over Lautech soon.”

Dammy Krane Lied About Fraud Charges Dropped; He Is Not A Free Man Yet” – Jet Company

Jet company, Tap Jets which was allegedly defrauded by Dammy Krane has said the singer is far from being free.

It can be recalled that the singer had announced earlier this week that he is a free man, stating that the forgery case against him has been completely dropped.

But Tap Jets in a statement Head of flight safety and security, Mr Konstantin, said no Court has acquitted the singer.
But today, information from the United State say the court did not acquit Dammy Krane but only said “no action” to allow the prosecutors a window of 180, to present stronger evidence that will indict Dammy Krane of credit card fraud.

A statement obtained from Mr. Konstantin, Tapjets’ Head of flight safety and security, reads: “There is a 180-day delay in bringing full charges. Information from our attorney indicated that his accomplice, Chukwuebuka Ilochonwu, is giving police full cooperation.

This was why they asked for 180 days to bring big charges. So he is not free. Court record says “no action” it does not say “not guilty.”

Now aside being found guilty of the crime, he stands the risqué of being red other charges for lying against the court.

Dammy Krane and his label have not issued any statements towards about the case.

Aliko Dangote, Nigerian businessman and richest man in Africa, says he has no house abroad and don’t waste money while he maintains a modest life style.

In an interview with Bloomberg‘s Francine Lacqua, Dangote admits he still relate with people he knew way back and his house is open 24 hours for them.
TheCable rounded up a summary of top 10 points:

REFINERY IN 2017
Dangote says his refinery, which would refine 650,000 barrels a day, would be among the largest in the world.
“We didn’t really realize that we were going to need almost 70 million cubic meters of sand. But we are catching up, and I’m sure we’ll be able to deliver it by the last quarter of 2017.
“We have actually never failed in delivering any project. We always deliver our projects on time and at cost. If we hadn’t delivered our projects on time, that would be something. We will definitely deliver, by the grace of God.”

LIFETIME PROJECT
To Dangote, the refinery is his lifetime project and he is backing it up with his own life to make sure it is delivered.
“We are using our own money. This is my lifetime project. I have to back it up with my own life to make sure it is delivered. I know that, yes, it’s true, a lot of people have tried to deliver on refineries in the past, mostly governments. They couldn’t.”

HE DOESN’T DO SMALL THINGS
By 2025, Dangote says he would have investments worth $50 billion in the US and Europe.
“Beginning in 2020, 60% of our future investments will be outside Africa, so we can have a balance. We are looking at petrochemicals but can also invest in other companies.
“Let’s say that by 2025, I’m looking at between $20 billion and $50 billion. Mind you, we don’t do small things.”

LEARNT FROM THE MEN WHO BUILT AMERICA
“I never worry about being too bold. In business it’s good to be aggressive, but with a human face.
“I thought at first I was really aggressive until I watched this show, The Men Who Built America. I realized that actually they were much bolder than us. Someone like Vanderbilt, he built 50,000 miles of rail! That is a very bold move. That’s why anything we do, we don’t do it small. If there’s any human being who has done this equally, I am equal to the task to do the same. I actually have a sign on my desk that says, ‘Nothing is impossible’.”

NO INTEREST IN TELECOMS
Aliko Dangote says he has no interest in the telecoms industry, his reason being that he is late to the party.
“When I look at telecom, for instance, I think that would be very tough for us. We are a little late. Some players have been in this market for 17 years already. There’s no way you can go and jump over somebody after 17 years of their hard work. So I think we would pass when

it comes to telecom today.”
HE WISHES HE INVESTED IN TECHNOLOGY
Dangote says he’d have loved to invest in tech, especially because companies in that industry get bigger valuations than industries like agribusiness.
“Look at the US, the way the tech companies are getting massive. And it’s still nothing compared to the GEs, yet those don’t get that kind of valuation. I wish that we’d entered tech, but our concentration has always been in Africa.”

ARSENAL ON THE WISH-LIST
Another thing on the wish-list of the 60-year-old businessman is to buy Arsenal football club.
“I don’t want to go after Arsenal until I deliver the refinery. Once I deliver, I will go after Arsenal.
“I don’t change clubs. Even when Arsenal isn’t doing well I still stick by them. It’s a great team, well-run. It could be run better, so I will be there. I will wait. Even if things change I will take it and make the difference going forward.”

NOT INTERESTED IN POLITICS
Dangote says he has no desire to go into politics because he loves his freedom too much to lose it.
“I’m not interested. There’s quite a lot we can do from the business side. I enjoy a lot of what I am doing, and I also love my freedom—and I don’t have too much. The little I have, politics would take away. I am not ready to give that up. There are businessmen who are interested in politics. I’m not one of them.”

INTEGRITY IS HARD TO COME BY
When asked of the human flaw that frustrates him the most in business, Dangote says it’s integrity.
“In Africa, you normally need to know who you’re dealing with. You have to make sure you’re dealing with very honest people who have integrity—that’s why we have so few partnerships. Dangote itself has plenty of headaches to take care of.”

PREFERS MAKING MONEY TO SPENDING IT
In Dangote’s words, he doesn’t like to throw away money and has no home outside Nigeria. He likes a simple and quiet life.
“I’m not a person who just likes to throw away money. I spend more money on charitable things than myself. I actually don’t have any home outside Nigeria. I stay in hotels. Quiet. Simple. My life is not very lavish, and I actually get very embarrassed if I try to show that I have money.
“In Lagos, I drive myself around on weekends. I ask my driver to go rest, and then I drive myself around. I still visit my normal friends I grew up with. My house is open 24 hours a day for them. I mingle with everybody. That’s the only way to get to know what’s going on.”

Despite the uncertainty arising from President Muhammadu Buhari’s prolonged absence from the country over health concerns, one of his media aides, Mallam Garba Shehu, Monday has maintained that the president is “good enough to continue” if given the opportunity to contest the 2019 presidential election.
However, the presidential spokesman expressed ignorance over Buhari’s ailment, stating that the president would speak to Nigerians when he returns from his medical vacation.
Shehu spoke in an interview on ARISE News Network, a THISDAY sister company, in London Monday, two days after the presidential media team paid him a visit in the British capital.
The media delegation that met with the president included the Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed; Special Adviser, Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina; Senior Special Assistant, Diaspora Matters, Mrs. Abike Dabiri-Erewa; and the president’s Senior Special Assistant, Digital/Online Media, Lauretta Onochie.
The president has been away for more than 90 days getting treatment for an undisclosed ailment in London. This is the second trip he has made to the UK this year for medical reasons.
When he met with the media team on Saturday, he said he was ready to return home but would only do so on his doctors’ orders.
When asked if Buhari would seek re-election in 2019, Shehu said the president “is good enough to continue in 2009”, but added that the president’s re-election was not the issue at the moment.
“The main issue is the president comes back home in full health and resumes office. It is left for Nigerians to decide. I know the decision is with the people. But President Muhammadu Buhari is good enough to continue,” he said.
Shehu, however, said he could not speak specifically on the nature of Buhari’s ailment, assuring Nigerians that the president would talk to them about what he went through in the course of his treatment.
He said: “I cannot tell because I do not know the nature of his ailment. As he is, the president does not need prompting from anyone before he comes out and tells Nigerians what happened to him.
“When he came back last time, President Buhari told Nigerians what he went through in the United Kingdom. I think the president will choose the right moment to talk to Nigerians.”
Constitutionally, Shehu argued that nothing requires the president to disclose the nature of his illness. “In the constitution, there is nowhere the president is required to disclose his illness.”
“This is a country where past presidents never fell ill before. Even when they fell ill, nobody knew about it. This is a country where past presidents never handed over to their deputies. We had a president who was dying in office. Nobody was ready to talk,” he explained.

President Buhari says there is tremendous improvement in his health, but that he is waiting for his doctor’s orders before he can return home. President Buhari said this while receiving the presidential media team, and the Senior Special Assistant on Diaspora Matters, at Abuja House, London, on Saturday. Alhaji Lai Mohammed, Minister of Information and Culture, led the visiting team, accompanied by Mr. Femi Adesina, Special Adviser on Media and Publicity; Mallam Garba Shehu, Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, and Lauretta Onochie, Personal Assistant on Digital/Online Media. Also there was Mrs Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Senior Special Assistant on Diaspora Matters.
When the team expressed delight at the much improved health of the President, he retorted: “I feel I could go home, but the doctors are in charge. I’ve now learnt to obey orders, rather than be obeyed.”
On how he felt hearing different conjectures about his health, an amused President Buhari said he followed events at home closely, lauding Nigerian television stations, and the media generally, for keeping him informed.
When told that prayers were going on fervently for him, not only in Nigeria, but all over Africa, and round the world, a delighted President said: “What we did in The Gambia early this year fetched us a lot of goodwill on the African continent. It gave us a lot of latitude. I thank all those who are praying. May God reward them.”
President Buhari sent appreciation to all Nigerians, expressing hope that he would be with them soon.

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye has reportedly pumped N100 million on a new record label, One Hallelujah Records.
According to an exclusive report by Global Excellence, the head of the record label, Pastor Leke Adeboye, who is the son of RCCG General Overseer, revealed that the vision is to give artistes opportunity to praise God through their talents.
“The aim is to create a platform that preaches words of God through music. That is why the G. O. established the label,” Leke Adeboye said.
One of the artistes signed on the label, Pastor Kunle Ajayi, a renowned saxophonist star artiste added that the O. H. R. is not in the entertainment industry to compete with anybody but to inspire souls that want to praise God.
“We are here to appreciate talents and inspire them to disseminate words of God to people at large musically. In as much as there is no one investing into the entertainment to establish Gospel records label and sign on gospel artistes, E.A Adeboye has promised to do that in order to encourage artistes who are very talented,” he said.
One Million Naira cheque was, however, given to artistes signed under the label on Thursday 3rd August 2017 at Redemption Camp Headquarters at kilometre 46, Lagos/Ibadan Expressway, Ogun State.
It was gathered that the artistes signed were; Sister Obamike Adeyemi, Tosin Bee, Rebecca Okolo, Femi Okunuga, Michael Akingbaya and James Okon. Others were Moses Onafinjana and Funke who is currently in the United States of America.

Nevertheless, the artistes will kick off their musical tour to the United States of America and Europe very soon. But they will first tour South-West and South-East zones any moment from now after their singles must have been released.

Tonto: I have shot a film in a day, in the past but not any longer. I’m not looking for popularity so I am just trying to stay relevant by starring in very few quality movies. My family proposes that I shoot five quality movies in a year. I think three good movies in a year is fair enough. And that is what I have been looking for. That way, I can have time for my child and other people because I’m not just a mother of one but I am a mother of nations.
PT: What is the secret behind your new glow?
Tonto: Well, firstly I am born again and when you have God, you just radiate. So all the glow is from within; you don’t fake God’s glow. You also can’t fake God’s glory because it overwhelms you. I don’t know how to say what I want to say but when God steps into a situation or your life he elevates you and makes you see things in a different light. So, the glow you see is all God. I am a radical for Christ.
PT: Do you plan to set up a church or become an evangelist?
Tonto: Yes I will, before I became an entertainer I was close to becoming an evangelist but I backslid. But not to say anything, I am back with God. I don’t know where God is taking me to. But if it is the pulpit, I am ready.
PT: Following your new status as a child of God, will you remarry or reconcile with your estranged husband?
Tonto: Love is a beautiful thing and love is exquisite. So, of course, I will remarry once I find true love.

A 15-year-old boy was killed after he accidentally shot himself while playing with a loaded gun at his friend’s home on Wednesday night.
The incident occurred around 8 p.m.
The boy identified by his family as Derek Cosme of Glen Cove , was in the kitchen with two of his friends when he got his hands on an unsecured handgun, Nassau police said.
According to the officers, Derek was waiting for his mom and aunt to pick him up when the gun went off and killed him shortly after.
Officials said the gun’s owner has a legal permit for the firearm While neighbors said a retired Nassau County corrections officer lives at the home where the tragedy occurred.
The Nassau officials are now investigating to determine if the weapon was not properly secured and if a service weapon was involved in the incident.
The family has already launched a GoFundMe page to offset the funeral expenses.
The page reads:”No family should carry such a burden alone, We are asking for help to relieve our family of the stress of these expenses, for all who loved Derek and our family to come together to provide a beautiful ceremony that he deserves.

Hajia Hadiza Lamido, daughter of former governor of jigawa state, Sule Lamido has been reported dead..

According to reports, the deceased who was 38 years old, died after a brief undisclosed illness on Saturday in an Indian hospital.



Hadiza, who was born in 1979, is survived by her husband and three children.

A family source disclosed that funeral arrangement will be made as soon as her body arrives Nigeria.

May her soul rest in perfect peace.
