Now, 80% of films being shot these days are produced by Yorubas and Niger Deltans without tribal boundaries.

Cinemas are getting their own part of the money while actors, production crew and producers are not left out.

Haven’t you notice that Yoruba names are being used a lot in our movies now unlike when Igbos dominated the industry back in the days with their Igwe this and that, Chuka,Chika, Nnamdi, Ugo, Uju etc

Back then, You ll think Nollywood is Biafra.

Ramsey Tokunbo Noah even took out the middle name so as to get jobs but thank God today, Yorubas have changed all that.

They told Rukky Sanda to pick up an Igbo names so as to get jobs which she fervently turned down.

Ironically, the Yoruba genre of Nollywood is doing pretty well if not better than English genre now.

Anything they do things in their local ways, Yorubas walk in and sell it with awesome packaging. Anything they do in bigotry against other tribes which always affect their growth, Yorubas walk in and do with it without boundaries and growth becomes part of the business.

If you go to their spare parts shops now, you ll see how their bigotry is keeping them in those cubicles but the moment Yorubas come in, it becomes empire.
