Crime › Re: Nigerian Socialite Impersonates Dubai Prince, Steals $2.5 Million From Woman by Seeplusplus: 8:24pm On Feb 03
higgs:
Use your intelligence, there are legitimate ways to earn money and live in a nice apartment, drive a good car etc while living in Nigeria. Many Nigerians are personally smarter than a lot of indians/Chinese. Our country is not where it should be due to bad government, not because individual Nigerians are not intelligent .
Many is not a number, Mr. Intelligent
Crime › Re: Nigerian Socialite Impersonates Dubai Prince, Steals $2.5 Million From Woman by Seeplusplus:
Come to think of it, how many Nigerians that are living in Nigeria, staying in nice apartments, driving a good car, and wearing good clothes that are not into fraud or illegal means of making money?

We are talking about a country where an average man on the street earns less than N80k a month.
Minimum wage is less than $50.

Go to Abuja and see the poor salary some people earn.

Forget all the noise about remote work. 8/10 times, it's all less. Except of course you're a content creator, you need to be so, so, good in order to land a dollar paying remote role because you'll be up against Indians, Asians and people from other European countries. Also, your nationality is already a barrier against you. So how many Nigerians are that good in their crafts?

One way or the other, the system is structured to enable crime/fraud, reason why the government doesn't frown at it except a life is involved.

Let's keep deceiving ourselves

Celebrities › Re: “No Diddy, No Grammy” — Speed Darlington Mocks Nigerian Stars After 2026 Grammy by Seeplusplus: 9:22am On Feb 03
Nigerian artists have low self esteem.

They'll be nominated for Headies awards and they won't show up. Some will go as far as fixing their shows on that day.

But these same guys will rush to US once they get nominated for a Grammy award, forgetting that Grammy awards is the equivalent of their own Headies awards.

The sad part is how pained they always are if they don't get to win it. They go on all media platforms to grumble and wail.

I've never been disappointed this way mr kukah, i use to rate you very high but right now you've lost all the respect I've got for you..... I seems like there's nothing plenty money (bribe) cannot do😔😔
What's the worth of your respect?
This man doesn't know you, doesn't care about your opinion on him, doesn't care what your political leaning is etc. Like, what the heck will your respect add or remove from him?
Criticise public figures if you want to, but stop this rubbish of "I've lost respect for you" . These people no send you or your papa respect

Politics › Re: Remembering The Tragic Ikeja Cantonment Explosion 24 Years Ago. by Seeplusplus: 10:32am On Jan 29
I remember this day like it was yesterday. Very sad day indeed. I was in MDT police barracks Ikeja, which is present day GSM village.

This blast created pandemonium around as no phones or social media then for people to know what was truly happening.

So many people ran away from the barracks to places they weren't even sure of.

So many beautiful contacts were lost cos we never heard nor saw some of our barrack people till date

Music/Radio › Re: Court To Airtel: Pay ₦210M For Unauthorised Use Of Mbanefo's Nigeria Go Survive by Seeplusplus: 12:21pm On Jan 26
It's one thing to pass the judgement, it's another thing to implement it. Will Airtel pay? Next, they will appeal, which might take another 2years. Whatever the appeal decides, they might still not pay.

All they just need to do is give the 10m to buy protection from those that are to enforce the judgement, most likely the police.

The woman go wait tire aje

I've seen cases where a court will pass judgement on a land and the owner will still not have access to the land because the people won't give up. When you report them to the police, police will refer you back to court. When you go back to court, court will tell you to file a lawsuit of trespass.

I hope never to be in a situation where I have to be in court with anyone because that process will drain you financially, psychologically and mentally cos it might take six years .

You will never understand the level of lawlessness in this country until you find yourself in a certain situation

Politics › Re: No Presidential ticket for Kwankwaso in 2027, he has been cornered - Keyamo by Seeplusplus:
Festus Keyamo knows how to do political permutations for other candidates but cannot permutate for himself to win a seat in any election.

Atiku and Obi meanwhile, should rest.

Obi gave Tinubu an easy pathway to the presidency the moment he started displaying the idiocy of "a new Nigeria is possible" They should just rest.

All indices points to a Tinubu victory.

I personally don't want either of them to win that primaries.

Two very useless, shortsighted, desperate, power hungry folks

All those people always criticising Gyokores.

You can see his impact in the second half

Arsenal's attack was practically dead in the first half.

Jesus has no business being in Arsenal, let alone leading the line
