Cherez: Oga LegendHero, What an awesome submission However, the snake you rear today especially against others will sure haunt you tomorrow. The soldiers and police attacked unarmed protesters in the east (regardless of their reason, a peaceful protest or identifying with an armless group they believe in is their right) and most of you applauded it. You guys always posted pics of soldiers lying Young's boys in the mud to troll. Now, the vulture has perched. I'm not seeking a revenge or so but saying this to open your eyes to your ills perhaps you might consider a change of heart or even mirror yourself. You're saying trash Mr. Man. Have you forgotten how nnamdi kanu used to abuse the Yorubas Did we kill you or drove you out of Yorubaland because of that We're paying you back for the insults you guys do, now it's paining you because you can't eat your cake and have it.. Sit down and enjoy the trolling and taunting.. Infact it's just the beginning... |

maynation: Okay. Oduduwa met monkeys in Ile Ife o abi he met Lions. I don't believe in the existence of Oduduwa, those were just myths. Believe he existed if it's cool by yo, it's a choice. Let's get done with this argument, you are holding unto unproven histories while I believe in the current happenings.
Abuja may have been Ekinmogun or even Anambra but for all I know is they are Abuja and Anambra now. That is it. Take care dear. Lol, It's the past that led to the present and will led to the future... If there is no science. It's people like you that won't believe there is no Red sea, there is no Pharaoh, etc... That's why science have been trying to discover all this things. You should be online when they likened some human bones to the Yorubas thousands of years ago... Even if you don't believe anything. Don't you all see this Benin art, ife art, Owo art The Nok culture Didn't you read how many years it was linked to?? Like I said, you don't believe doesn't mean it doesn't exist.... I'm very sure our forefathers didn't know that we have many planets, they believe it's only earth.. EOD.... Take care. |

maynation: I am not based in Ore and I won't even bother to ask the Oba questions if i was based there. I told you every town has tales and distorted ancestral connections they all believe are true. That doesn't prove anything. Just like when historians say all yorubas are from Ile Ife because of Oduduwa and that his son became Alaafin of Oyo and blah blah blah. Those are just good as the myths they are. It makes no sense, I don't believe them. When something is unclear you asked. You don't ask, how will you know.. I'm telling you history of Ondo kingdom and it's envious.. You only travel round yet you don't asked about how and how they come together. That you don't believe in something doesn't mean it doesn't exist.. You're even wrong about the history of Yoruba claiming historians said we all came from Ile Ife because of oduduwa. The point historians are saying is that, Oduduwa met people in Ile ife, He only ruled on them... |

maynation: Whatever traditional festival you all celebrate isn't my argument. Do they claim to be Ekinmogun? No they don't. My argument is, Ile Oluji isn't part of Ekinmogun. I didn't say it was part of Ekimogun. My stand was. Ondo East, West and Odigbo are Ondo Kingdom |
Politics › Re: President Buhari Visits Ondo, Commissions Industrial Hub, Flyover (Photos) by Seerade029: 8:32pm On Feb 25, 2020 |
maynation: However you put it doesn't matter. My claim is Ile oluji doesn't claim Ekinmogun, that is my point. I didn't say they have not relationship. Ondo and Ile Oluji are twins they don't celebrate Ekimogun. But there are some traditional festivals we do that The Jegun of Ile Oluji/representatives will be present. Even the current crown on the head of osemawe, it belongs to Jegun of Ile Oluji |

maynation: Then I asked you how you could share boundary with Ode Aye when you Odigbo doesn't even belong to you, like you jumped Ore to boarder Aye. I told you Odigbo and Ore were formerly Part of the kingdom.... Bur we lost them ... The palace of Ore, ask him to tell you ths root or their royal historian. |
Politics › Re: President Buhari Visits Ondo, Commissions Industrial Hub, Flyover (Photos) by Seerade029: 8:20pm On Feb 25, 2020 |
maynation: Firstly, the screenshot I shared shows the Ikale towns and vilages which are majority of the Odigbo people. It isn't questionable unless perhaps you know more than wiki. Then, stop attaching Okeigbo to Ekinmogun. Ondo town has Ekinmogun day, Ile Oluji has never joined them. They have so many times dissociated themselves from Ekinmogun whatever. THEY HAVE THEIR ILE LUJI DAY to show you they don't for any reason want to be linked to them.
I cancelled that part out because I don't see the correlation, we ain't argue over that. Lol, Ile Oluji doesn't have relationship with Ondo WTF. Ile Oluji is a sister town to Ondo.

alfredilly: Ile-Oluji speak a dialect that is almost similar to that of Ondo and that confirm the Ekimogun link. Odigbo town, Ajue and Araromi Obu also speak a a variant of Ondo dialect with minor difference. They are also aware of a history that confirm their Ondo root.
Ore has many settler and Oyo, Osun, almost outnumber the combine presence of people of Ikale, Ilaje and the Odigbo indegene.
Your wikipedia account is very questionable as it omit Odigbo town, Ajue and Araromi obu. She doesn't even know the relationship between Ondo and Ile Oluji... |
Politics › Re: President Buhari Visits Ondo, Commissions Industrial Hub, Flyover (Photos) by Seerade029: 8:00pm On Feb 25, 2020 |
maynation: If you are an Ilaje person and you believe Ode Aye is Ekinmogun then good luck. This was my comment actually. Ondo kingdom had boundary at Ode aye with ikale at Oni Rivers with ijebu. Oluwa rivers with ife. Owena rivers with Akure and idanre and so on... I didn't say ode aye is ondo kingdom |

maynation: You just validated one of my initial points when Sammy said Ore Ondo, I told him they speak more of Ikale mixed with Osun/Oyo/Kwara and this is because of their very plenty population. You also validated my claim that although Ileoluji/Okeigbo have very similar language with Ondo people but they are dissociated from Ekinmogun.
I don't even know what you are arguing with me over.
Mind you, below is a proof of Ikale being majority in Odigbo BTW, do you know why we have so many towns that speaks ondo dialects?? It's because of war that broke out in Ondo city, many people fled to other places and settled in that place, many fled to create a new village etc... When the war was finally settled(after many years) they were recalled back home. But some refuse to come back home.. A friend of mine, his father is the royal historian.. I know History of Ondo kingdom very well.. That's why I advised you to find the roots of those towns... In Odigbo local governments. |

Michdear: you do t need to disturb yourself go to the palace of ore king and ask about his root,Ekimogun eatend from ondo west to ondo east and then odigbo local government, odigbo, ore ,Araromi Obi are all ondo speaking town ,Ajue nko, obadore,,Ekimogun are infact largest kingdom in Ondo State ,you ever wonder why they name the state Ondo State ,Ileoluji and idanre local governments are also ondo speaking area,5 local governments out of 18 LGAS in Ondo State have their roots concerned to ondo as a city. God will bless you sister/ma'am |

membranus: Ondo town has never ever had all those Ikale towns. Ikale kingdom is too large, diverse and very hard for Ondo to ever dare to dominate.
Take this from a proud Ikale Prince maynation: Please help me tell him biko.
How could Aye and Omotosho ever be Ekinmogun sef? Ondo town is different from Ondo kingdom.... I told you guy to pick up historical book of those towns I mentioned.. |
Politics › Re: President Buhari Visits Ondo, Commissions Industrial Hub, Flyover (Photos) by Seerade029: 6:50pm On Feb 25, 2020 |
alfredilly: The poster understand the basis of his argument. Odigbo local government has indeginous people who speak variant of Ondo dialect. The are also have historical ties to Ondo city, although Ore which is the head quarter of Odigbo local government has a large presence of Ikale, there are also other settler like Oyo and Osun in overwhelming presence despite having no indigenous root in the state. The land in Ore are still being sold by the Odigbos. Ile Oluji is also a neighbouring local government to the Odigbos and they speak a dialect that is almost similar to Ondo kingdom. The Idanre are likely related to Ekimogun too as reflected in their dialect. Thank you bro, anti bot banned the account I used to correct her. I just created this. I told her we have lost many towns and villages due to LG creation |
