My birthday is 16th of November, since I started dating my Wife she has always done everything possible to make my day remarkable.

I'm that type of guy that likes keeping things on a low, quite an opposite of my Wife, she likes doing her things loud and doesn't care who gets to hear it.

Well, my type of guy I don't cage you, infact I allow you to be yourself cause I like being myself, on her birthdays I don't mind making it loud but on mine I just like chilling on my own if I'm even to have fun its best of me to spend quality time with her hangingout and chilling on dates.

It's almost November again, and the sweet problem as I call it is here again. It's been 5 birthdays with her as my wife so far, and she has always made it remarkable, always making a great occasion off it. Even when we are not together. I've always gotten cakes that I share with colleagues at work and they marvel at the quality and amount each of them got, my wife is high test and she doesn't spare a dime when it comes to what she feels will be a show of love to me.

Now on my part I'm just cheerful about it for the effort, money and time she puts in doing it even though my joy has never been on what she did but for the fact she is ready to show me such love.

On talking to her today I got to know she is planning to do money cake for me with about 1million naira while she pays the cake lady 200k, omo I feel it's a waste owing to the fact that I do not place value In all these, I had to ask her not to do it, oya come see her romantic vex that it's her thing make I dey my day.I've been trying to stop her and I'm seriously not okay with it as I see it as waste, firstly there is no way in hell I'm going to snap picture with money cake and I believe that's one of the essence of the cake, secondly who has time to pack up a million naira from money cake, thirdly she won't even be around as she is out of Nigeria for now, then imagine giving out 200k just for someone to stress me, how much does most 9-5 workers earn.

I know she doesn't place much value on money just like my Mum and that's one of the major reasons why I love her so much, she also values Humanity more than money and material things.

Truths be told since I we started dating before we married my birthday has stopped being the calm thoughtful day it has always been which I love so much, to such an uncomfortable day with much anticipation which I also love to an extent.

I've always told her it's supposed to be what makes me happy that counts on that day but she doesn't want to see it that way. I wonder how long it will take for her to understand or how long it will take before I get used to this.

But right at this moment it's actually a sweet problem to me.

back then, when Alaja Steel (Delta Steel) retrenched staff while filing for bankruptcy, my aunt who worked with it as an accountant got retrenched thereby becoming a sit at mom.

after a long while, a friend of hers who was in the UK invited her over for visitation. she visited as invited.

when stay was done, on her returning to Nigeria the who invited her over and many others who had things to send home took opportunity of her returning to send things home.

my aunt insisted everyone must unpack to see things the content of the luggage then repack. this didn't sit well with the friend who invited over.

other people she introduced to my aunt did accordingly but the friend (who hosted her) refused, claiming she embarrassed them (that is husband and wife) and wasn't expecting her to reciprocate their kind gesture in this manner.

she left without picking their package. at the airport she was approached by a black (a Nigerian) security, advising her to repackage every of her luggage into one unit to reduce flight weight charges (for each box carry it's own weight.)

as such she bought one big bag at the airport in UK, the man helped her repack the contents of all the boxes into one single big bag (which is bulky but reduced single weight.)

shortly after she was approached by security at the airport, claiming want to search her luggage. my aunt no gree o, fortunately the security man noticed the argument from distance then approached.

on approaching he inquired what the issue was, he discovered they were acting on tip off my aunt had illicit drugs on. then man argued in her favour, claiming he was the one that repack all content in her luggage and every discarded box are still around there.

they ended up searching through and found nothing on her, apologized and left. she had the new airport friend to wonder what's going on.

on getting to Nigeria the UK friend who hosted called her husband claiming my aunt stole some baby stuff from her while leaving UK for Nigeria. the husband ranted feeling embarrassed but on checking through nothing they claim was in the luggage she brought home.

the husband called them warning them never try such with her family. realising this didn't work, they sent people to trail my aunt. until then my aunt realised the UK couple wanted to use to traffic drugs.

Hi, come to think of it, what is your review about their footwear (someone, once said their shoes aren't of quality in terms of leather) and clothes (texture quality). how true? I'd wanted to try them for footie they always look nice but the negative review.

Footwears from there are nice, especially the rubber ones. But don't expect high quality if you're going for leather/stock footwears.

And watch out for the sizes, you might see them write it XXL, but it's actually XL. Sometimes their products don't tally with the written sizes mentioned, so know your size.

I love the appliances section more, especially kitchen equipments, toiletries and others like parlor designers. Not all are durable, but sure they're cool.
