I will like to give this advice to the very best of my knowledge.
Telling the visa officer that you will be visiting the US to learn how a US school runs their curriculum might be a red flag.
1. Learning/undergoing a training requires you to apply for F/J visa and not B1 B2 (tourist visa)
2. Nigeria educational system has already intl standard curriculum depending on the school wc I know some sch practices British curriculum while some schools practice American curriculum, it will sound well if you are a govt official in education ministry going as a team to learn more about the American curriculum in other to practice it in Nigerian school system.
3. Some likely questions they can ask you is when have you be teaching in that particular sch? Why are you going to US to learn Abt the curriculum? Where will you be staying during the time u will be in the US? Who will be sponsoring your trip?
Finally, this is my own observation and your visa might be approve if you were able to convince the consular that you are not an intending immigrant. Lastly, US visa entails fasting and prayer

hello everyone, kindly help a sister.

I have an interview for first week in March 2023 for B1/B2 visa. I am a teacher in a private school owned by a family member. My uncle in the US gave me an invitation to US to come learn how his children school run their curriculum and come back to Nigeria to implement that system in the school where I currently teach. My plan is to travel during the holiday and come back to Nigeria before resumption.

What are the likely questions to expect from the Visa Officer during the interview?

Pls I need your kind advice on this... I have an upcoming B1/B2 visa interview by April 2023 with my wife and kid as I will be going for a conference and also planning to visit some friends in the US. My company will be sponsoring my trip and I will be sponsoring my wife and my kid.
Note: Me and my wife were both resident in Dubai before relocating to Nigeria.
1. What are the likely question the VO will be asking us?
2. What necessary documents do I need to collect from my company
3. Did I need to provide my own personal statement of account during interview?

Using the agent wasn't my call as we're a group going for the conference.
The agent is now stuck at getting appointments for individuals in the group. Is it usually this hard and unpredictable?
Thought it would be faster than this.

This issue is very simple... Getting appointment for US visa is not a magic. No matter you are an agent or indivudyal. The same process you will do to get your appointment yourself is the same process agent will take to get you the same appointment. Agent will only charge and collect your money
Try do the appointment yourself and which is the method I used in getting mine.

Yes of course U can give it a try and indeed ur baby's visa might be approved but I need to consider certain things...
Will u be applying for ur baby with your friends surname? Applying with ur friends surname on your baby passport meaning your friend is claiming your child as the parent may have negative effect later in future.

I gave birth last year so I want to apply for my new baby but der is no close date yet. And I will want to travel dec or next year. So my question is this please I have a friend dat as already secured a date . Is it possible I add my baby has her dependent so we can apply together dat my friend is already a fresh application . Pls don't apply your baby visa with another person as dependant. It will affect your future application. Your baby will qualify for IW as he/she is under 14 years. U just need to write the embassy and explain the scenario.They will offer some EA time.

Almost everybody experience(s) this same issue while filling the DS160 form. This is due to:
1. There are lots of people trying to fill up the form so making the server too busy and the workload on the sites are affecting some internal cookies
2.The Ceac also uses this to frustrate applicants who are trying to fill up the form
You just need to be persistent and determined to fill the DS160 form. Or better still you can try to do it at midnight or weekend when the server is less busy. Keep trying it and try to save all the pages in other not start again from afresh each time you visit the DS 160 page

Hello, I tried filling a Ds 160 Form and immediately after choosing the Embassy on the first page, the page automatically refreshes and asks me to select embassy again but this time the drop list of embassy doesn't come up

This has been a recurring problem despite using different browsers I have used before.

Has anyone experienced this before? If yes, please how did you go about it?
