Our functional currency is still naira as at 12:38PM, 17-03-2016.I really don't understand why we bother about the exchange rate when what we should be concerned about is inflation.Inflation is biting every nigerian hard irrespective of your ethnicity. Exchange rate only affect those that can afford it.
Just saying oooo |

Bamz: If there's a minimum number of REQUIRED refs the school is asking for and you've it fulfilled, no problems. However if the outstanding ref isn't a surplus, then you might have an issue.
Do best to contact your program coordinator. All the best. Cheers mate. The deadline was feb1,I was just thinking if they can consider me because of my grades.I.e 4.52 because the second reference is giving me issues.2 |

nevilbot: My sis, I will truthfully advice u not to bring one kid not to talk of two kids for an MSc program in Germany on a sponsorship letter biko. Even if u use a block act, d 8040 will not b enuf for u and one kid not to talk of two and since u are using a sponsor, do u think ur broda will b sending u money monthly for upkeep? My knowledge of German sponsors who give letter is dat wen u land, dey simply forget abt u saying dey av done dia part to get u here. Do u think u can school work and takia of two kids as a student in Germany? My honest answer is a capital noooo. Mind u, no one will babysit for u in Germany oo, u might not even see ur next door Nebor for weeks.
I will strongly advice u to drop ur kids with ur mum as I even doubt if d embassy will give d 3 of u visa on a student sponsorship letter once dey see d income and responsibilities of ur sponsor and even if dey reluctantly do, my sis it is a risk not worth taking. Thanks.which school are you and what course are you pursuing.Do u know anybody at LMU |

Cindino20: To be honest...it will be better if you leave your kids with your mum or relative....Like a poster said earlier on .."Education here nor be beans"...mind you you re using a sponsorship letter..its almost impossible...your living cost is 8k per yr and for every dependant ca.4k euros thats 16k in total so your sponsor needs to ve a very good job(its a tight one my sis) even if he has a good job they still ve to factor in his cost of living and check for disposable income after his expenses..and the question then will be will the disposable income be enough for you and your kids?
Then the issue of life style come in...no mama Joe to look pikin if you go class o..I ve been living in my apartment for 6mths i dont even know my next door neighbour...what I am tryin to say is this ....it will be tough
IMHO..try to see if you can leave your kids with your mum or relative if not..continue your msc in nigeria (if i understand you properly) then come to germany when for phd....at least by then you did be on stipends and can afford kindergarten.
In all...follow your heart.
Good day! Thanks ma |

yettyclesia: sis i like your determination, but i will like to ask if you are planning to stay with your cousin because of your children, schooling here will not be so easy having two children to cater for,its not like the community we are use to that people can help to take care of your children when you are in school or not available, you can also take them to kindergarten which you have to pay for while in sch but if you are planning to stay with your cousin ,its okay,The educational system here requires a whole lot,as their grading system is high, 90 as their utmost "A"unlike our 70. just please weigh your options well cos children are involved. My cousin is in berlin so I will be staying alone.wouldnt kindergarten help?Heard their time is 7 to 5pm.Thanks |

Eke40seven: This excerpt from Wiki should give you an idea of what to expect in Ulms. "The following top 10 list of German cities with the highest income per person is based on a study by the Cologne Institute for Economic Research on July 31, 2013. 1. $128,000 Wolfsburg , Lower Saxony 2. $114,281 Frankfurt am Main , Hesse 3. $108,347 Schweinfurt , Bavaria 4. $104,000 Ingolstadt , Bavaria 5. $99,389 Regensburg, Bavaria 6. $92,525 Düsseldorf , North-Rhine Westphalia 7. $92,464 Ludwigshafen am Rhein , Rhineland- Palatinate 8. $91,630 Erlangen, Bavaria 9. $91,121 Stuttgart, Baden-Württemberg 10. $88,692 ULM, Baden-Württemberg"

Eke40seven: Good! scholars everywhere. You should be able to cope then. However, there is a guy there I mentioned before, he was the best graduating student in his department, (coincidentally, statistics) and he is looking for a way to "port" as the problem is more of content than ease of the course. Just brush your self in algebra and core engineering mathematics. The coordinator told me same too because I was once interested in the course too. However people are different. I also have no doubts you will be accepted it you send all required documents. I wish you well. Please what do you mean by it is more of content, what course are you studying now and can I meet this your friend? I am working at a bank now and I just want to know if it is worth it thou I am also interested in lmu munich epidemiology program. Thanks |

Guys in that department are wailing.. Don't mean to scare you though, its really unlike me. My two cowries! P.S. Your chances could be good and your sponsor earns pretty pretty good. |
