Unfortunately,you can not renew and yes canada grants visas according to your passport duration.you might want to hold on applying but if not then of course you can apply

Hi guys thanks for all you doing on this thread. God bless you all.. please I need clarification on this matter.. working to apply soon but I notice my wife’s passport will expire oct 2019 while mine and daughter expires next year may.. can we all renew before applying for summer vacation because I heard/read visa are sometime issue according to the validity of passport.. please I need urgent advise before I put in my application.. thanks all in advance
